Enjoy Tanzania and become friends!
5/5

Great guy, great guide, great experience.
We went three friends with Renga and his crew. We reached the top of mount kilimanjaro, but what is more important, we really enjoyed the trip and that was because they made a great effort to ensure that.
I totally recommend to hire Wings of Africa.
Asante sana!

Service delivery that exceeds clients' expectations.
5/5

Our girls trip to Zanzibar was very exciting and successful thanks to the excellent work done by the company. They clearly understood our needs and put together a package that responded to those needs. The choice of hotel, tour guides, transport and other services were top notch and gave us value for money. Our focal person from the company was very warm and nice. She made time to meet us on arrival and joined us for some of the activities. She provided daily updates and checked in at the end of each day, just to be sure we were ok. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience which came at a very affordable cost.

Very fair and to the point
5/5

I took 5 day budget safari and overall was very satisfied in the end. A lot of safari experience relies on the tourguide/driver and we were lucky to get very experienced and professional one (Tom). We saw big 5 (except for leopard) and ugly 5 (except from stork). plus a lot of other wildlife. Accomodation was not priority for me, so I took budget option, which included quite run-down hotels/camp with limited food options but very fair for the price paid. If you want at least 4-star hotel experience, take more expensive options.

All in all, highly recommended!
5/5

Our guides and drivers were especially helpful and kind, always bringing us safely from place to place—and always on time! We were able to see and, above all, learn so much—whether in the village, the park, or the bush. It was truly enriching.

The lodges were beautiful as well, and the food was particularly good at the Selous Kinga Lodge. From the very beginning, everything was well-organized and we felt completely comfortable. We also laughed a lot and had a wonderful time.

We would also like to encourage future travelers to truly appreciate the hard work of everyone involved—and to show their gratitude by leaving a tip!

Special ASANTE to Paul, Emil and Shadrak

Choose Liyu if you want an unforgettable, safe, and fantastic guide to Ethiopia.
5/5

Liyu Ethiopia Tours made our visit to Ethiopia unforgettable! Yhun, the manager, was in constant communication with us before and during our trip, keeping us up-to-date with local conditions. We booked a trip to Wenchi Crater and 2 days in Gondar through Liyu.

The trip to Wenchi was incredible. Early in the morning, our guide Oli, and the driver, picked us up from our hotel in Addis Ababa, and drove us the 3.5ish hours to Wenchi. We spent the morning hiking through the crater lake, taking in the natural beauty—this is something Yhun made sure to include in our itinerary after we expressed our desire to focus more on Ethiopia's natural wonders. Oli was a fantastic guide: he was very knowledgeable, kind, and quite funny. We enjoyed a traditional coffee ceremony, boat ride, and lunch before returning to Addis Ababa.

We had a similarly fantastic experience in Gondar. Yhun arranged our transport from our hotel to the airport, and arranged for transport in Gondar (flight costs were on our own). Yhun is very well connected with guides across Ethiopia. In Gondar, he introduced us to Alex and Grum. Alex led us on an excellent hike through Kosoye viewpoint, and Grum was a wonderful guide to Gondar. Yhun also arranged for all our airport transfers, which was certainly a welcome benefit.

In short, Yhun made sure that all our needs and wishes were tended to and that we felt at home (and safe!) while visiting Ethiopia. The prices were fair and reasonable, and we would not hesitate to choose Liyu Ethiopia Tours for our future visits.

An Unforgettable Safari
4/5

We did the 4D/3N safari in the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru with our guide, Samuel Chege. An absolute 10 as a person, guide, and driver. He was very friendly and attentive, and gave us information about the animals we saw. He made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of at all times. We really appreciate the sense of safety he gave us.
As for the organization, the third day of the tour was the weakest. You spend most of the day on the road heading to Lake Nakuru. However, in the morning we were able to visit a Maasai village ($20 per person). Also, due to rain and muddy roads, we couldn’t make the optional stop at Lake Naivasha. When we arrived in Nakuru, the hotel we were supposed to stay in was full, so we had to be relocated to another hotel of a lower category.

All in all, the experience was unforgettable, and we would definitely do it again because of its great value for money.

Best safari experience with Serengeti Smile!
5/5

Had the most amazing Safari experience with Serengeti Smile! John (our guide) was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we saw all the animals we wanted to see and always positioned the vehicle perfectly for the best viewing.

We mentioned wanting to see baby lion cubs, and he managed to find us not just one or two, but 14! Later, when we asked if we could see elephants up close, he immediately started searching and soon drove us right to the spot where an elephant crossed the road just behind us — it was magical.

We are very amazed at how well he knows the huge Serengeti roads and gets us to our camps and lodges safely and comfortably.

Really appreciate and want to thank Jeremiah (office rep) as well for putting together this amazing itinerary and suggestions of lodges to fit our budget. He was very responsive to all our questions and messages from the start!

Highly recommend Serengeti Smile to anyone wanting a truly memorable safari experience!
