Very responsive to all communications and interested in all feedback
Tour guide Raymond was amazing and made our safari. Paced and satisfied our individual and group needs with skill. Great communication. Phenomenal skill in getting off the beaten track into quieter areas and finding the animals making us feel we were alone out there and not in a convoy of Jeeps as well as always always getting the best parking spot at every place we stopped. Value for money great. Lulu great at responding really quickly at all communications making you feel well supported

Great Kenya tour, superb guide, unforgettable safari
We booked our Kenya tour with Tall Masai, covering Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend them, especially for families with younger kids.
Our private vehicle came with a knowledgeable and friendly guide, which made the game drives unforgettable. While the vehicle itself wasn’t the best, the lifetime experience of spotting animals in Masai Mara more than made up for it.
I really appreciated Tall Masai’s prompt WhatsApp communication during the planning stage, which kept me updated and confident. Payment was also smooth and convenient through their online system.
Accommodation was generally very good — the Masai Mara and Amboseli camps exceeded expectations. I was initially apprehensive about how my daughter would enjoy the trip, especially the tents and hotel stays, but everything worked out well. The only concern was the Lake Naivasha lodge, which could use improvement.
All in all, a well-organized tour, great memories, and a highly recommended option for those seeking a Kenyan safari adventure.

Great experience, worth to be done
Unique experience, everything was organized perfectly and they accomodated our needs. I would expect a little bit more clearance about payment (definitely the best option is to pay in $, don’t make an error to pay in € or other currencies), a newer car with more comfort, and maybe a binoculars (bring it with you as they are not provided but really useful). Over all good experience and i would recommend it

He is well informed, courteous and efficient
The tour was well conducted in a systematic way. The operator was giving plenty of information about the particular animal, its habits, behaviour, nature. Some interesting titbits. We were able to spot the big ones, and the small ones, too. He was impressive.
Our only regret was not spotting the leapord inspite of all efforts.

It was a wonderful trip . They are reliable , trustable with a bunch of jovial people.
We had booked a 6N/7D package with super eagles. Special credit goes to our guide Mr Francis, who made sure we don’t miss anything . His dedication is really appreciable . We could spot all the big five because of him , but he used to say everyday “let’s see what the nature has to offer us” . A 10/10 for Mr Francis . Special thanks to Mr Jacob as well who made sure we arrived to Nairobi safe and returned safe to the airport. Thanks to the entire team .

Reliable
We chose this tour operator because they seemed reliable, and we quickly felt we could trust them. Communication with Munash was easy and continuous, and he was always available to help. They were also very punctual, whether picking us up at the airport or station, always making sure everything went smoothly.
The trip itself went very well. Our guide, Delight, was attentive throughout the journey, and Pretty, the owner, was very helpful and flexible with payment arrangements.
The only minor issue for us was the campsite, where we hadn’t been informed that there was no electricity or Wi-Fi. This caused some inconvenience 😔
Our advice to the tour operator is to provide as much practical information as possible , afterall, you are the professionals, and clients may not always know what to expect.
Overall, despite the small inconveniences, we were happy and grateful for the experience.

Tour operator was helpful
Tour operator was very much helpful , arranged to me an all inclusive group joining trip with decent price at a lodge of my choice..
The only point I was disappointed about is the time accuracy.

Good
6-Day Budget Safari: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru – Amboseli
Overall, it was a very good experience. Patrick, our first guide, was amazing and very experienced, and Jemimah was supportive and responsive to every enquiry.
You’ll be joining different groups and guides depending on your itinerary. Keep in mind that some time may be spent waiting for others or dropping people off at specific locations.
It’s better and more convenient to pay for the tour in cash (USD). After that, you won’t need much cash for the rest of the trip, just enough for tips for the guide/driver, as well as small extras like water, snacks, or souvenirs
Accommodation and meals are basic but perfectly fine.
We stopped at Lake Naivasha (an extra $40 – $20 for the boat ride and $20 for the park walk), but personally, I didn’t find it really worth it.

Great Private 5 Day Safari! But read notes below :)
Had a 5 day safari with Jocky Tours, private tour with 3 nights Masai Mara and 1 night in Lake Nakuru.
Picked up by our guide and driver James.
Headed to Masai stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint along the way. The trip took 6 to 7 hours, the jeep was quite old with seatbelts not working very well, seats not super comfortable for a trip that long. Arriving at Lenchada Camp we were greeted by the owners and brought for lunch. The food for the 3 days was good, rice, beans, veg. Happy to have Vegetarian option everyday.
We headed on an evening game drive & then had 2 full days of game drives. Then we left for Buraha at Lake Nakuru. We arrived at 3pm and had the evening free. I had thought we had a game drive that evening (my mistake upon re-reading the schedule info from Jocky Tours), but again we felt that this should have been communicated by our guide, a simple "today we are driving here, we will stop here and here, let me know if you need additional breaks, upon arriving you will have the evening free to rest for the game drive the next morning".
After our morning game drive at Lake Nakuru we headed back towards Nairobi stopping along the way for lunch at one of the Curio shops.
Safely back to Nairobi around 3pm.
Positives:
- Saw the big 5 + a plethora of animals, birds, lizards, was truly fantastic.
- James was a safe driver, was great for spotting animals and he was a chill guide for people who want a calm atmosphere.
- Lenchada camp had everything we needed, hot water, plenty of time to charge phones / cameras, amazing wifi, mosquito net (definitely needed).
- Buraha Zeoni resort at Lake Nakuru was great to stay.
- In all places staff were very friendly, helpful + accommodating.
Room for improvement:
- The jeep was old & unclean even when we were first picked up, seats extremely dusty since day 1, seatbelts not tightening properly, seats like rocks, very uncomfortable for a 7 hour drive.
- When we were picked up we headed to the Jocky Tours offices in the city centre, this was not communicated when booking and it felt a bit odd leaving the jeep open with many people around, with all our luggage inside as we headed to the offices, this needs to be communicated to your customers as I was not expecting this and created some apprehension.
- Really felt that information was limited from the guide in terms of schedules, plans for the day, info on animals was very basic. Would have been nice to hear more about the animals, their migration patterns, why certain animals graze together, who is nocturnal v not.
- Would also have been nice if we had been told about the Masai people, their culture, why they wear red etc found ourselves googling a lot as we were not being told by our guide.
- Buffet food at Lenchada camp is not kept covered and is left open for hours in the morning and at dinner. Many flies and insects landing on food.
- Despite communicating that we were vegetarian, our packed lunches on 1 of the 2 days were meat and we couldn't have our lunch that day, which was not great considering it's a 12 hour day out.
- On the second day of our full game drive, we returned to camp earlier than the previous day (2 hours earlier) this was not communicated to us, we just began the journey back to camp and it was disappointing as we had planned to take some pictures of the sunset on our last day in the Maasai.
