9-days Safari in Uganda
Our guide and driver, Julius, gave us an outstanding experience in Uganda, doing everything possible to maximize our chances of seeing wildlife and making each moment of the journey worthwhile. We had nine days, supposedly during the wet season, and set out to see as much wildlife as possible in its natural environment. Remarkably, the rain always seemed to fall when we were indoors or safely in the van, as if perfectly timed for our itinerary. The animals were far from shy—apart from the elusive leopard—and we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the wild, bringing home unforgettable memories and stunning photographs.
Despite unexpected challenges with our vehicles—both suffering engine failures—Julius remained calm, resourceful, and fully committed to our safety and schedule. He handled every situation with professionalism and determination, ensuring that our trip continued as smoothly as possible. We had a great time with fantastic excursions, all perfectly organized, and we are truly grateful for Julius’s dedication and care throughout this incredible adventure.

Heman was doing great, funny and interactive guy
Was difficult to find a lot of animals. Could be because it was raining in the morning. Expected a bit more.

Safari in Uganda
We booked a 9-day safari trip with Dav Safaris and managed to see four of the Big Five, as well as gorillas and chimpanzees. Julius, our guide, gave us the best experience possible and maximized our chances to see the wildlife. It was a great vacation, filled with breathtaking views and unforgettable nights under the African sky.
However, we faced significant issues with our vehicle: the first van had engine trouble and was replaced after the first day (a new van was driven from Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park), only for us to discover the next day that the replacement had the same problem. To prevent the engine warning light from staying on, our guide was forced to turn off the A/C.
Additionally, communication with Reagan, the agency coordinator, lacked professionalism. He guaranteed us single rooms before departure but failed to mention that this accommodation was not always available. We would have appreciated being informed of this possibility in advance to manage our expectations.
Despite these logistical issues, thanks to Julius, we still had a memorable trip. We hope Dav Safaris will address these vehicle and communication gaps for future clients.

Great first time safari
This was my first safari and it really was a trip of a lifetime. I saw the most incredible animals and really got to appreciate Uganda and the local life. Accommodation provided was very good and guide/driver(Bright) was knowledgable and efficient. Highly recommended

Very reliable and flexible. Professional, friendly and helpful organisation. Went to Amboseli.
Having been to Kenya many times, first when I was 15. I am 62 now I had booked 2 nights in Amboseli with John Amwayo from Meterai Safaris. Hoping to get the iconic picture with an elephant in front of Mount Kilimanjaro
I came down to Nairobi after 6 nights in Laikipia where my cameras captured nice meetings with Giza Mrembo, the black female leopard. There I booked direct with the Wilderness camp.
I met John at the office and the driver/guide Jackson on the meeting point at Njuganas.
I shared the Amboseli safari with a very nice Spanish couple. It was not easy to get my dream picture as we are not allowed offroad. But first morning got it. It was so nice also seeing Kilimanjaro clear long time. I walked up to the summit, Uhuru Peak from Tanzania 2003. Also now did a very nice short bush walk with two Massai from Nyati camp.
I have published many wildlife books and reports.

Knowledgeable and well experienced in this field
It was at about 10:00am when I linked up with my tour guide Mercy. We navigated thru the busy downtown and finally got to the Bitenji of a west African origin.
Despite of being from the DRC Ugandan border, I had never heard of the Bitenji origin. I saw those made from DRC, Ghana,TZ, Nigeria and the different fashions that suits most! It was such an amazing experience hearing it from Mercy in Kampala...
The costs of designed bags were friendly! The Congolese market with their most loved cassava greens called "Sombe" and salted Fish as well smoked fish were all interesting to see in the heart of the City! This i personally enjoy so much!!
The service providers of different activities were friendly. Mercy has built a very nice rapport for the company. It's an experience worthy taking on when one finds few hrs in Kampala City.

Reliable
I used 'Africa Incoming' for my first trip to Africa, traveling with my two sons (ages 19 and 12). They planned the entire journey for us, and I must say their choice of lodges was impeccable – as were the activities they recommended. The safaris in Etosha National Park were also very beautiful. It's a pity we didn't manage to see lions or cheetahs, but I believe that was due to the time of year (the first two weeks of April). Whenever any issue arose, Ronnie was always available and helpful.
