An experience so incredible it was beyond comprehension.
5/5

The tour was absolutely phenomenal.
We saw everything we really wanted to, and so much more!
From start to finish, the game drives were all excellent; interesting, exciting and packed with a great variation of experiences.
Tarangire was a great introduction on the first day.
The Serengeti portion was awe-inspiring with every new sighting.
Ngorongoro Crater was an exhilarating day searching for Rhino (and seeing so much more along the way).
And the final day at Lake Manyara was a wonderful way to wind-down the tour with some easy game driving.

On top of that, the accommodation each night was superb.
Subricata Boma Lodge had an incredible pool and a gym and felt very luxurious, and the staff were lovely.
The two Ang'ata camps really heightened the experience, sleeping so close to the nature with wildlife right outside our door.

But most importantly, our experience wouldn't have been anywhere near as good if it wasn't for our driver and guide Laurence!
He's a fantastic driver who was able to navigate every terrain, every road and every obstacle both safely and efficiently.
He also checked in with us often to make sure we were all comfortable, ensuring we're going where we can see the animals we wanted to see and always being ready to provide information. He answered every question our group had.
And he did all of this with a smile and a wonderful nature that really made us feel part of a team together.
Every morning we were treated to a cheerful and fun "Good morning, how did you sleep?" and nothing ever bothered him, everything was always "Hakuna Matata!"
Me, my partner and the other members in our group all agree that our trip wouldn't have been as awesome if it wasn't for Laurence.
Asante Sana Laurence, hakuna matata rafiki!

tour operator is super flexibel and our tour was magical
5/5

We had a wonderful safari that we would recommend to anyone. A special thanks goes to our guide Badru, who put in a lot of effort and shared countless exciting insights with us.
Already before the trip, we were able to adjust and choose the accommodations according to our preferences, which made the planning very smooth. During the tour, we made a few adjustments as well – Netherken was extremely flexible, supportive, and reorganized everything seamlessly.
We traveled as a private group of three, accompanied by our guide who was also our driver. With the 4x4 Jeep with a pop-up roof, we were perfectly equipped to experience the wildlife of Tsavo East and Tsavo West up close. This combination of professional organization, individual flexibility, and unforgettable experiences made our safari truly special.

An incredible safari experience-highly recommend!!
5/5

Laurence, our driver and guide, was incredible! He greeted us warmly everyday and provided us a run down of the plan. He is very experienced in navigation and handled the many MANY windy and bumpy roads with caution and care. It's clear he has built up a great network with other drivers by the friendly way he interacts with them at lunch spots. Laurence is very organised and timely, letting us know how the permits for each location worked, when we should enter areas to get the most out of the time we had, where and when we should stop for lunch. Laurence is very knowledgeable about the animals in the different locations and why we may or may not see certain ones, he is happy to answer all of our questions and even has books on birdlife available for us to read. He also has INCREDIBLE eyesight and is able to spot animals likes cheetahs and rhinoceros, without binoculars, several kilometres away.
Laurence provided a fantastic and memorable experience that will stay with us forever.
Asante sana Laurence

Gustaf is the best guide I’ve ever met! He is very patient in introducing all the animals along the trip. And he even spotted the leopard with his naked eyes! We all saw the big fives here

Our trip with Serengeti Wakanda Tours was nothing short of amazing. From the comfortable camp sites / lodges to the thrilling game drives, everything was perfectly organized. Our guide Jimmy and Freddy were both fun and incredibly knowledgeable. They made every moment exciting and educational.

A special thank you to Aishwarya, our coordinator, who made sure everything ran smoothly.

We were celebrating a friend’s wedding, and this trip meant a lot to us. Serengeti Wakanda went above and beyond to make it truly unforgettable. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for a top-notch safari experience.

An amazing experience in Ethiopia!
5/5

We had an amazing trip into the Bale Mountains, here are some excellent things to know!

1. We were very well taken care of every step of the way. Drivers, guides, horses, everything was taken care of.
2. It is very hard to get money in Ethiopia. Ideally bring money in Euros so you can pay in person. Otherwise leave time to go to the banks to withdrawl money using a credit card. This actually worked in our favor and we ended up getting a "bonus" from the bank and getting a bunch of money back.
3. Bring your own gear for rain and cold. While he did have some to lend, I was too big to use most of it. Thankfully we had the most amazing weather.
4. Bring some cash with you on the hike if you want to tip those who are helping you. We had 4 people helping from the guide, to the cook, to two horsemen.
5. The hiking is amazing! Also, its probably longer than you might be thinking. We did 10km day 1, 20km day 2, 20km, day 3, and then a short few back to the car on the last day.
6. Let them know ahead of time about your dietary conditions. This really helps them cook for you. Since we were the only ones it was easy to want to cook for our needs.
7. It is definitely worth it!

Thanks to our amazing hosts from Essence Ethiopia Tours to guide Ayuba.
