Completely amazing
5/5

Did the coffee tour and waterfall hike this morning. Both were amazing but especially loved the coffee tour. So informative, well presented and interactive. Everybody involved in the whole day was super friendly, patient and knowledgeable, and our waterfall hike guide sisto even had a smile on his face when he had to help me across some stepping stones. Fortunately I didn't fall in and drag him with me, so all was good.
Would definitely recommend to anyone, even if you're not a coffee fanatic as it is truly an experience of a life time.
Would even repeat the tour if I find myself in moshi again.
Thanks for a great day guys.

Nothing but praise for Shadows of Africa
5/5

I have nothing but praise for Shadows of Africa. Our safari with Shadows of Africa was flawlessly planned and executed. In all respects, it surpassed our high expectations.

Credit for the success of our safari must go to the capable professionals that planned and conducted our tour of Tanzania. Jake and Stacy answered our emails promptly, asked the right questions, and assembled an itinerary that conformed to all of our requests. The accommodations they booked took us from beautiful lodges and deluxe rooms to tented camps without a glitch or disappointment. Our meals were good, and often excellent. We received excellent service, which was usually delivered with a smile. All of our nights were delightful. We savored magical, panoramic views and intimate wildlife encounters while enjoying the amenities of modern life.

Our Shadows tour guide, Bashiru, was exceptional. He planned our game drives and used his remarkable talents to provide us with magnificent wildlife viewing. By working hard and remaining personable throughout the many hours we spent together, Bashiru allowed us to enjoy every moment of our safari to the fullest extent possible.

I will always feel indebted to Shadows of Africa for giving us 10 spectacular days in Tanzania, and I am happy to recommend Shadows of Africa to those who read this post. They earned my high praise.

Great variations in wildlife and scenary. From green wet deltas and river at Okavango and Linyanto to arid dry desserts in the Kalahari.

I can't say enough about Amboselli park. The grounds are beautiful and well manicured. The staff was all around excellent, the food was delicious and plentiful. The suites were out of a movie beautiful! The fact that you can sit in the back yard , have a cocktail while watching beautiful animals like zebras and elephants pass by was a dream! Once in the safari, there were so many jiraffes , elephants, wilder beasts, lions, hyenas, monkeys and other animals that we were amazed and pleasantly surprised! The weather was perfect, and our transportation and guide made our trip most enjoyable! The fact that We were able to see Mt. Kilimanjaro was the huge cherry on top of the cake!! It was incredible and I can't wait to return.

Likely the best place for African Wildlife

We explored only the souther part of the Delta not too far from urban areas.
Still, it was very rewarding. Lot's of animals such as birds, elephants, hippos and crocs.
Lions were there too, approachable by boat.

Went to Kruger in dry season so game viewing was excellent. Saw all Big Five as well as many antelope, hippos, crocodiles, birds, wild dogs, porcupines, hyena, apes, and variety of other stuff. Only missing was young but not the right season.
Was very dry and brown so lot of good sightings around Sabina river and waterworks.
Camp Skukusa was excellent, guides were knowledgeable, food was good and roads were good. Good time to visit SA with exchange rate.

Best trip ever - totally awesome
5/5

I found Jewel of Africa Safaris on the SafariBookings.com site. Neil de Jonge responded quickly and clearly to all of my questions. We booked a 4-day trip that included a guided safari of the Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route, staying at Cheetah Paw Eco Lodge.
Our trip was last month. Andrew picked us up at the airport and showed us an awesome time. We were fortunate enough to see 4 ½ of the Big 5 at Kruger. The leopard was in the ravine behind the bush. We also saw a honey bagger, which our guide told us, is a rare sight. Andrew made excellent recommendations for food and made us feel like family friends. He also recommended the Lion Walk – just amazing. Because we had such a great time, we planning on going back and bringing family/friends with us.
