Really really good Tour with Amos
5/5

We had a wonderful safari, especially because we were lucky to have Amos as our guide. He kept to all agreements, was always on time, is a safe driver, and accommodates every request. He also has extensive knowledge of the animal world and was able to share a great deal with us, so we not only learned about every imaginable animal but also a lot about the animals surrounding them. It was a fantastic time, and we'll do the next safari with Amos again. Highly recommended. Thank you very much.

Expertise meets heart — an unforgettable, flawless safari!
5/5

My guides were the owner, Jackson, and Fifi (Joseph). There were two Taiwanese and two Chinese guests — four people in one car.
I highly recommend Top Selected Tours! 👍🏻
(I'm Taiwanese, so please forgive any grammatical mistakes below ☺️)
Let me start with the conclusion: We saw so many incredible sights during this six-day safari!
For example, we saw lions mating.
We also witnessed a lioness hunting and devouring a young Topi. The mother Topi even stood at a distance, waiting. Jackson said she was trying to hold on, praying for her baby's survival. It was a scene that was both shocking and heartbreaking.
We saw the Mara River crossing twice, including a large one at the iconic crossing point, 0B. It was truly spectacular — like a work of art.
While chatting with other tourists along the way, we realized that many hadn’t seen such a variety of wildlife. The four of us felt incredibly lucky, and it was truly thanks to Jackson and Fifi that we were able to experience such an amazing journey.
We had wished to see a hunt, so we left early that day — and saw it after only 15 minutes of waiting! Luck is important, but choosing a professional guide is just as crucial.
Jackson and Fifi created a wonderful atmosphere throughout the trip. From the moment we met, our mood shifted — we were filled with joy and anticipation. They carefully brushed the dust off our suitcases and loaded them into the jeep. Noticing we liked zero-calorie Coke, they stocked the car fridge with plenty.
Fifi saw me looking around for a trash can in the distance and immediately ran over to take the trash from my hands — so thoughtful and environmentally conscious. Jackson noticed I was using a scarf to shield myself from the sun and quickly tucked it into the car door to create a shaded area for me. Everything was incredibly considerate.
Jackson has built a vast network over more than ten years of experience. From the moment he enters the park, he warmly greets park staff, other guides, and lodge employees — he's clearly very well-respected!
One moment I’ll never forget: I had contacted other travel agencies about a popular lodge near the Ngoronogoro crater, but none of them had availability — only Jackson managed to secure a reservation!
We almost always had hot lunches (hampers), with a wide variety of food and drinks to choose from. Jackson and Fifi would find a safe patch of grass or a rest area, set the table with a tablecloth, and give us a truly ceremonial lunch experience.
Both of them also have incredibly sharp eyesight. One time, we were chatting and snacking in the car when suddenly, their eyes locked onto something. We looked in the same direction and saw nothing but a lone tree — but as we drove over, there they were: three cheetahs! Their vision amazed us every single day.
Jackson was also very friendly and generous — always using the walkie-talkie to share animal sightings with other guides. Once, after we watched a lion hunt, Jackson kindly reminded us not to share the news with passing vehicles, so as not to affect other tourists' experiences or the guides' efforts (since witnessing a hunt also requires luck). His thoughtfulness really left a deep impression on us.
To us, Jackson and Fifi weren’t just professional, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable — they were also warm, energetic, and fun to be around. It felt like we were traveling with longtime friends, which made the entire trip even more unforgettable.
I still miss those days — every night, we’d sit together for dinner, chat, and listen to Jackson’s stories and his deep knowledge of wildlife.

Friendly and responsible staff
5/5

We had a great safari experience with Kihindo Tours. Drivers picked us up on time whether it was a hotel or a train station. Guides were knowledgeable and helpful. Nuhu and Saloniki are well-experienced guides who had answers to all our questions during our game drives in Mikumi National Park. We saw all the wild animals except leopards, which are pretty hard to find. My husband and I are thankful for the amazing trip we had.

Wonderful experience in tanzania
5/5

We chose mountain warriors for our safari in the northern circuit of Tanzania (5 days, lodge) and it has been a really nice experience!
Kefas, our guide, explained us everything we saw, in a precisely manner, never being intrusive and we really appreciate the passion he puts on his work.
Also, the lodge where we stayed were all above the expectations!

Richard is a rockstar!
5/5

This review is only for Richard’s awesomeness. Before we came for the safari, little did we know how it all works. The experience of a tourist on a safari will be completely dependent on who your driver+guide is and we got the best of the lot, Richard. He is a Masai and knows the area at the back of his hand. He has answers to everything and solutions to every problem. He never rushes when the view is good and always chases the animal routes to get you the best photograph. He is always on time and makes sure you are on time too so that you enjoy your trip to the fullest. We are so happy that our first time in East Africa was made memorable by Richard’s presence. He is great and I cannot recommend him enough!!!
Thank you Richard ♥️♥️

The best way to experience Tanzania
5/5

Six & Seven tours will provide everything you need to have an incredible time in Tanzania, and more. Their guides are smart, supportive and knowledgeable about the region. Whether you want to visit nearby national parks, climb one of Africa’s tallest mountains or just learn about the history and culture of Tanzania - Six & Seven tours will make it happen. After volunteering with them several years ago, I returned to visit and to spend time in Arusha. During my most recent trip, I spent a couple days volunteering at the Centre and nearby Yakini school living at the house with a few other volunteers. It is a unique way to experience Tanzania, living in a home with the ammenities and privacy you would expect in a standard accommodation, but with the company and conversation with locals you won’t get anywhere else. Plus, you will get the chance to learn about life in Arusha through the experience of the students and staff at the Yakini school. To top it off, you will enjoy the most incredible food made fresh everyday by their most talented chef.

I then geared up for a 3-day hike of Mt. Meru. The head guide made sure I had all the appropriate gear, that I was comfortable on the mountain and helped me improve my Swahili! The food during the trek was some of the best food I’d eaten in the entire 10 weeks I spent in Africa. Having hiked Kilimanjaro previously, I was very impressed with the experience that Six & Seven Tours provided for me during my trip. I highly recommend this organization, and can’t speak more highly of David and his family and what they have to offer those coming to visit their homeland. Thank you again.

Our guider George is an experienced and kind-hearted tour guide. Under his guidance, our past seven-day trip was full of surprises and wonderful moments. We witnessed the wildebeest crossing, a lion pride with nine cubs playing together, elephants fighting, and cheetahs hunting. Highly recommend visiting Tanzania with George as your guide—he will definitely bring you amazing experiences!

The most amazing experience! Thankyou!
5/5

Our experience with 6 & 7 tours was incredible. We stayed with David in Arusha, helped out with the local schools he supports, climbed kili, and did a safari tour. Firstly, thankyou, this was a trip of a lifetime and it was organized perfectly by 6 & 7 tours. The tour guides were great, Hope, Goodluck and David were fantastic, they made us feel safe, organized everything, were accommodating and communicated well. The safari was superb, the 4 x 4 vehicle was clean and well maintained, the safari experience was unforgettable!!!! We went to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Seregenti, Tarangire, i cannot recommend this tour itinerary enough! We saw all the animals, watching lionesses hunting in the serengeti.....Amazing! Thankyou 6 & 7 tours!

Amazing drivers made for a great safari!
5/5

Landsmen was the company that handled all the arrangements for a photography class safari we went on in late August/early September this year. The accommodations arranged were quite nice with great staff and good food.
The drivers, however, were the best part of the safari (well, except for the animals). They handled the rutted and dirt roads like the pros they are but more importantly, they knew the animals and could spot them so quickly. And they knew a lot about photography, or at least what the photographers in the group would want (that golden hour light, for example). They would move to get new or better angles. I am not a photographer but I got to see a LOT of animals and spend time with them.
They also called the situation perfectly when we were waiting to see a crossing during the Great Migration – we watched most of the vehicles waiting leave and our drivers just passed out lunches to us and told us to be patient – the animals started crossing a few minutes later.
The safari trip also included canoeing on Lake Maryana, meeting with a couple of tribal families (different tribes and lifestyles) and a hot air balloon ride. We were very happy with the trip.
Landsmen also arranged a Rwandan Gorilla Trek for my husband and me – great driver/guide in Rwanda, a wonderful lodge to stay near the trek location and a very nice place to stay in Kigali. Overall, we would happily work with them again.

Attentive and responsive
5/5

My partner and I really enjoyed our 10 day trip in Kenya! This was our first safari, so we weren’t exactly sure what to expect. Lencer communicated with me off and on for weeks. She would answer my messages within minutes. I told her exactly what we wanted in our price range. Due to the last minute booking, we had to change several hotels. We were very happy with the hotel changes. She scheduled every little detail for us. The timing was great and we felt comfortable and not rushed. At the very last minute she set up a driver to take us to the Giraffe Center before our flight home.

Johnathon was our guide for the safari portion of the trip. He listened to what we were interested in and made sure to find the best locations. He was familiar with the animals and taught us about wildlife along the way. He was always on time and worked with our schedule. My partner and I love cats and Johnathon made it the main focus of our trip. We saw a pride of lions, a leopard eating a hyena and 3 separate cheetahs all in one day. We were lucky to see the big 5 and every single day we saw something very special.
