My advise: Do not book!
Perplexed by all the recent reviews of Natural World Kenya, we were worried about being stranded mid-day despite paying in full so did some digging the day before our scheduled tour date. Thanks to all the recent reviews here, we saved ourselves a lot of pain.
We found that accomodations for the second half of the trip had been cancelled due to non-payment (e.g., Mara Serena Safari lodge told us that they had held the reservation and then released it when Natural World failed to pay them). This checks out with all recent reviews which highlight how Natural World leaves tourists stranded so that they're forced to pay again after paying in full.
Additionally, we received no flight or hotel confirmation until an hour AFTER our tour was scheduled to start! And that was only after they realized that we had cancelled our trip with them and filed for a refund with our credit card company. Amusingly, the confirmations only had one of our names (I guess the second person is flying with the luggage???) and that name was spelled incorrectly.
We ended up successfully re-booking with another marvelous tour operator. When we spoke with multiple operators to explain why we were already in Nairobi without a confirmed safari, they all understood and highlighted the same: Natural World is in financial trouble and so doing very shady things to keep the company afloat. Unsure why they're still allowed to operate. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

We felt extremely cared for and safe.
We hired the safari for 4 days and it was our second time doing a trip like this. Kapande picked us up at the hotel in the agreed time and drove us to our lodge 4h away from Dar Es Salaam.
We had 2 full game days and 2 other days with different activities (Boat Safari and visit to the Maasai).
Kapande took care of us the whole time! He was not only super punctual, but he is also an excelent driver!! I wanted to see a black mamba and he didn't stop looking for one for the entire two days!! Also when we found out there was a lion around in the radio, he raced through the park until we found it and we got the BEST pictures AND felt like we were in a real adventure!
I cannot stress enough how much Kapande made a difference on our trip and it wouldnt have been the same without him.

Magical!
We had so much to see today. Not one minute when we did not see any animals. Such a good day! Our guide Mtinangi was very kind and explained everything very clear!

Everything was perfect!
We had an amazing three-day safari in Mikumi National Park. The tour operator was very professional and made everything easy and well organized. The park is the most beautiful in Tanzania, with stunning views and so many animals to see.
The best moment was when we saw baby lions – truly unforgettable! Everything from the drives to the accommodation was perfect. We highly recommend both the tour operator and Mikumi National Park for anyone looking for a real safari experience.

It was awesome !
We booked a 2-day safari and thanks to our guide Steve who was a superb person, he took great care of us to ensure that our experience went as smoothly as possible. We were able to see all the animals in Amboseli with lots of interesting anecdotes! We were even allowed to try out Maasai medicines, as one of us was ill.
It was a dream come true, and we'll be leaving with lots of memories. We highly recommend it. Asante sana Steve!

With Francis as our driver it was AMAZING! We witnessed so many animals with his guidance!!
Rhe best part of our package were the 3 safari days. 2 in the Mara national park! We would never have seen so many animals without Francis as our guide! His knowledge of the roads in the park, the animals and where in their natural habitat they would most likely be! We had many tour trucks following Francis, because they knew he'd find the best views of each animal. His knowledge of each species, such as their life expectancy, their daily habits, their group activities, and more, were extensive. He never got tired of answering all our tourist questions, that im sure he's heard many times before. We always felt very safe with Francis as our driver, he never took undue chances and reminded us always that all the animals are wild and to be respected. When to be quiet , as not to scare the animals. We saw lions eating a kill and other lions stalking a giraffe, a cheetah with his fresh kill, 2 leopards catching and then loosing a mongoose. Many water buffalos & zebras from the great migration grazing in the grasslands. Hippos with their babies in the river, and crocodiles at the river. Many beautiful giraffes and their babies. Cape. Buffalo, hyenas, vultures, African storks, warthog, or "pumbas" as their called with their babies. 2 highlights were catching a sleeping full mane male lion relaxing by a tree with his brother. Then a herd of magnificent Elephants grazing by a waterhole, with a large male elephant and several female elephants with their babies! As we enjoyed this special visit with the elephants we could see many tour trucks coming to see, because they knew Francis has found them!
Francis also told us he knows most.of the other tour drivers from other companies as well, and they all keep in touch on a cb radio when one of them sees something they think the other tourists would like to see. It was wonderful to see all their cooperation to keep the park safe for both people and the animals! Francis also spoke perfect English for us Americans.
We hope to come back some day! Francis's brother, John is also a newer tour guide & driver, he was great and took us to the Masai village and back to our hotel in Nairobi, as Francis had another safari longer than ours.

accommodations were clean and nice, a big tent for 3 of us, with mosquito net for each bed. The grounds were nice and attended. Every night they had a bond-type fire where guest & staff could gather to talk about anything they liked. There is 24 hour security all the staff was were very nice. Attached toilet & shower. Hot water when requested for oyr showers. Breakfast & lunch served each day.

Outstanding Safari experience with excellent tour operator.
Rochar Africa made our trip so easy and stress-free. They arranged everything, hotel, safari, and even a special dinner in Nairobi. Communication was excellent; it was always easy to reach Phinorah, who responded quickly and kindly to any questions or concerns. Our safari guide Jonathan was outstanding, knowledgeable, reliable, and a great driver. He was such a great driver that other tour guide asked him for helps when their cars were stuck in the mud. He went above and beyond, even surprising us with roasted corn along the road on our way back, which was such a special touch. This was truly the best experience ever. If I return to Kenya for safari, I will definitely book again with Rochar Africa.
