We spent a day in Tarangire National Park with our tour group.
The arrival and departure went smoothly and all our wishes were implemented in the planning and execution.
It was an extraordinary experience for us, as we were very lucky with the sighting of the animals and our guide Isaya knew the national park very well.
The price/performance ratio was unbeatable and we would book a second tour at any time!

I had the pleasure of joining a birding safari organized by Charles Tours for ten days in August, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The itinerary included iconic locations such as the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Arusha NP, and Tarangire. I was fortunate to see nearly all of the large mammals close up-missing only the elusive rhino but my trip was focused on Birds and boy did Amani and Abdul from Charles tours deliver.
The birding aspect of the trip exceeded all expectations. I recorded 400 bird species and managed to photograph over 300 of them, thanks to the incredible expertise of my bird guide, Abdul. His deep knowledge of bird habitats and bird calls made every outing productive. 400 species in 10 days outside of migration is an exceptional total.
Amani, who organized the trip, did a fantastic job with all the logistics. From accommodations and meals to park entries, everything was seamless, safe, and well thought out.
There are hundreds of tour operators to choose from and we encountered many of them lost in the Serengeti so choose wisely.
If you're a birder or nature enthusiast looking for a well-organized, rewarding safari experience in Tanzania, I highly recommend Charles Tours. Their team's professionalism, local expertise, and passion for wildlife made this trip one of the best I've ever taken.

Completely fabulous from start to finish
I chose Indigo Safaris as I wanted to book with a local company who knew their stuff. Michele helped with the booking process and was very helpful, responding quickly to all my questions and quickly pinning down safari dates. The actual safari in Botswana was provided by Bush Ways, who were fantastic - the planning and execution of the camping and safaris was top rate and Evans and Kepapa were our exceptional guide and cook. The wildlife was unbelievable, far exceeding my expectations.
Spending our last night in the Pioneers Lodge, after 6 nights of wild camping among the lions, hippos and elephants, was the perfect finish to a very memorable trip.

Great Experience with amazing team
The safari was wonderful. Thanks to our guides Peter and Daniel, we were able to enjoy a great adventure through Kenya, full of magical moments, breathtaking landscapes, and memories that will stay with us forever. We managed to see all the animals, and Peter was very dedicated in making sure we got the best photos. Without a doubt, I would recommend doing the safari with them.

Incredibile experience
We will never forget the trip that Daniel organized for us.
The guide’s experience and expertise made our safari intense and full of unforgettable emotions. We saw beautiful animals up close in their natural habitat, in a landscape that ranged from the arid savannah of the Serengeti to the lush greenery on the way to the Ngorongoro Crater.
The guide’s deep knowledge of the area undoubtedly allowed us to witness things that are far from guaranteed.
Often, we took less-traveled paths and found ourselves in front of breathtaking scenes… from groups of giraffes by the riverbank, to herds of elephants covering themselves in mud, to a family of cheetahs seeking shade beside our jeep, all the way to an unforgettable lunch just a few meters away from four lions.
On top of that, the company was always pleasant, friendly, never intrusive, and full of interesting insights about everything around us.
The organization was flawless in every respect.

Great value and communication, personal approach
When I was looking for a safari operator in Kenya I contacted five or six ones and stopped on Hyrax. They seemed to have the optimal balance of costs and comfort. We were not looking for luxuries but clean and comfortable lodging was important. So what we got (Sopa Lodge) was above expectations.
Whats important, while communicating I felt the personal response. Irene was prompt and helpful in every issue I had and I wanna thank her for that.
We have booked the Amboseli safari and full day trip in Nairobi - both were organised in a great way. Guides/drivers did their best to show as much as possible and to keep it safe.
I definitely recommend Hyrax for:
1. Great value for the money balance
2. Fast respond, flexibility, meeting personal requests
3. Providing information and assistance in planning activities
4. Getting good lodge even at high season when it’s overbooked everywhere
5. Highly professional approach from the side of manager, drivers and guides.
