Very enjoyable Safari Trip
Our guide over our 6 day safari was excellent. Very professional and knowledgeable and guided us to view all animals in the safari parks. Organisation of the tour was good and everything was delivered as promised. The food was very good overall, some lodges better than others. Our accommodation was very good and we were satisfied overall although some lodges were much nicer than others. The Nakuru Sopa lodge was exceptionally good, however, the Sopa Mara Lodge was dated and could do with renovation. I would not recommend the optional tours and activities as they did not represent good value for money.

Beautiful
The guide was very friendly and explained everything in great detail, which I really appreciated.
Most of all, the guide was an excellent driver, which saved us a lot of time.
Compared to other tour vehicles, we were able to get to better spots faster, so we could see the animals up close.
The guide was also very funny, and we had a great time singing songs and enjoying the trip together.
It was such a wonderful experience!

Accommodating and easy to organise
Norman was a fantastic guide, organising all the activities and was accommodating to our personalised itinerary. Accommodation was great and he helped organise our fantastic game drives. His knowledge of the local history was amazing. Will definitely travel with Nhalala again!

Kilimanjaro umoja tours made our dream trek come true
I climbed on the "Roof of Africa" with Kilimanjaro umoja tours. I spent a month looking for the best company and found Kilimanjaro umoja tours to satisfy all my criteria. I'm so glad that I've chosen them. They are really the number one company in Tanzania. They provided excellent service, starting from initial communication, support in preparation for the trip and summit itself. All our team, five members including a 61-year-old man, successfully made it to the top! After Kilimanjaro I also traveled to a couple of Tanzanian national parks with Kilimanjaro umoja tours.Everything was great. Highly recommended

Unforgettable Safari Experience
We have recently completed our safari experience, and it was a trip of a lifetime. We spent our 7 day trip in Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. The booking process with Charles was hassle free, and he was always on hand to answer any questions we had, as well as provide a massive help with our booking.
We arrived in Nairobi the night before, of which Charles also helped arrange a hotel. We were then met by both Charles and Daniel, as well as our tour guide for the week - Sammy.
He was incredible throughout our whole trip, providing fantastic knowledge of the safari animals and also helping us to learn a little bit of Swahili! He was second to none in spotting the animals and making sure we always had the best experience during our entire trip. We managed to get lucky on many occasions and come up close to most amazing animals - a once in a lifetime opportunity!
The food during all meal times were nice and catering to all, as well as the impressive facilities during each of our stays. We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary, and they even managed to provide us with a cake.
I can’t thank all at Meektrails enough, and it’s an experience I would 100% recommend to all. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Excellent African Safari Tour Company
Our 13 day safari package planned with Tanzania Roadside was perfect in every way. We began planning this trip of a lifetime in October 2024. From our first contact with Zephania at Roadside Tanzania, we knew we were in good hands. Since our daughter had been to Africa before, she handled relaying a lot of our must dos to Zephania. He was so easy to work with as we made changes along the way. Our trip was planned for September 2025. We began our adventure when we were picked up at the Eka Hotel in Nairobi by our guide, Peter. He was our guide through the Masai Mara in Kenya. The roads in Kenya are very unfinished and bumpy. Peter was an excellent driver and handled the bumps and ruts expertly. Upon arrival to the Masai Mara we found our accommodations had been upgraded to the Zebra Royal lodge instead of the Zebra Plains tent camp. What a pleasant surprise! Our game drives in the Masai Mara led by Peter were breathtaking. He was able to find the elusive leopard for us. When it came time to move on to the Serengeti in Tanzania, Peter made sure we were safely through immigration and united with our Tanzanian guide, Walter. We drove directly to the park in the Northern Serengeti in hopes of seeing the Great Migration. We had a vehicle issue where Walter needed to stay to try to fix the problem. He made sure that we were escorted safely to Pure Migration Camp. He also made sure that we were well informed that our next day plans would proceed as planned. Sure enough, at 630 am Walter was ready to go to the park for another attempt to see the migration. While the wildebeest were there in great numbers at the rivers edge, they did not cross because there were crocs waiting for a meal. Walter took us from crossing site to crossing site. Even though they didn’t cross, seeing all those herds of wildebeest gathering to cross was amazing. Throughout the entire game drive, Walter made sure we saw all the wildlife that we would have missed if he hadn’t pointed it out. The lush Northern Serengeti is teeming with zebras , impalas, wildebeests, lions, many birds, etc. We also explored the Central Serengeti and the Ngorongora Crater.
The crater is an absolute visual masterpiece. An animal paradise! After exploring the crater, we began making our way to the Kilimanjaro Airport for our evening flight to Zanzibar to finish out our African holiday. On the way , we were able to meet Zephania in person. It’s always nice to put a face to a name. Zanzibar was perfection. It was the best place to finish up our visit to Africa. It’s a people paradise. As you can see,
we had a lot of moving pieces to our 13 day adventure. Every piece was planned flawlessly by Zephania and Tanzania Roadside Expeditions. Every transfer, lodge, tent camp, guide, and excursion planned went off without a hitch. Our communications and concerns were always addressed promptly and to our satisfaction. My husband and I give Roadside Tanzania a 10 out of 10. If you ever want to travel to Africa for a safari adventure, I highly recommend Roadside Tanzania for an outstanding experience from start to finish!!!
