Unforgettable experience in Tarangire and the Serengeti with Carlos
My group did a 4 day safari across the Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater and had a seamless experience with Serengeti Smiles and our guide, Carlos. The company was extremely communicative and everything was beautifully organized. The accommodations were wonderful and all had great food, and we received free lodging upgrades for two of the nights of our trip because rooms were sold out. Carlos was extremely knowledgeable about nature and history and helped ensure that we saw nearly animal we wanted to see. He spotted many animals that we never would have seen on our own. Ultimately, we had an unforgettable experience.

We spent 6 days with James and he was an incredible guide. Good natured, friendly and an absolute expert at animal identification. We saw lions, cheetahs, cape buffalo, elephants, a leopard, a serval cat, a black rhino, pumbas and all varieties of antelope. Thank you James, I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Had an amazing time! We saw many lions, hippos, leopards, and so on… Carlos was such a knowledgeable and accommodating guide. Great Safari Experience!!
We, a group of three couples from Canada, recently completed a 7-day safari with Jastro Safari, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! Our itinerary covered the Maasai Mara (including a cultural Maasai village visit), Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli National Park. We were fortunate to see all of the Big Five along with countless other wildlife, and each destination offered its own unique charm.
One of the highlights was the boat ride at Lake Naivasha, followed by a short hike that was both interactive and very informative—a perfect balance of adventure and learning.
A huge thank you to our guide/driver Bonaya, who was not only knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly friendly and patient. His dedication to making sure we had the best possible sightings and experiences really stood out.
Equally, we are grateful to Jared, the company Director, our main contact person. He was extremely responsive and supportive from the very beginning, checking in regularly to ensure everything went smoothly. He even went the extra mile to help us arrange additional activities in Nairobi, including a Nairobi National Park tour and a coffee farm visit on our spare day—both of which were excellent additions. We cannot forget Victor who helped us in securing accommodations for the trip.
Overall, Jastro Safari exceeded our expectations in every way. From the seamless planning to the warm hospitality and the breathtaking wildlife encounters, everything was handled with the utmost care. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a well-organized, personalized, and memorable safari experience in Kenya.
Only thing we could not experience during this trip was the Big Migration; however, we understood that the animals come out as per their schedules not ours!!

I was so nervous leading up to and going into the trip (Mount Kilimanjaro 6-day trekking), but once we got there and were greeted the evening prior to the start of the adventure by Gadiel himself—it put me at ease a bit. The trekking was the single most difficult undertaking of my life and the guides, porters and support crew got us through: often times offering their support and reassurance. They are true MVP’s! The days were well planned out as well as the meals for each day. We decided to tack on a one day safari adventure in Arusha NP since we had an extra day to spend in Tanzania. That was all planned for us by Gadiel as we were finishing up our Kilimanjaro trek and didn’t have much cell phone reception. Well done guys!

This was my second trip to Africa, and my first trip to Zimbabwe and Botswana. I can't say enough about Africa Uncovered. Archie and his team put together an exceptional, 5-day travel package for us.
Tafara Shoko, our guide, was invaluable. He shared so much of his personal experiences and unending knowledge growing up in Zimbabwe. He listened carefully to our interests and suggested a change to one day of our itinerary that became a high point of my trip. Chobe Game Reserve should not be missed! Ground safari and Chobe River cruise were spectacular. Thank you forever, Tafara, for your expert guidance and your endearing, warm smile!
Service and hospitality throughout our stay were professional, helpful and welcoming. Food was delicious. Accommodations were charming and comfortable.
Victoria Falls, our last stop, was absolutely breathtaking! Helicopter ride was worth it, in addition to viewing the falls from the ground.
I can't imagine a better-planned trip. It was truly an unforgettable experience that will live in my mind and heart forever.

Fantastic
My husband and I decided to go on our dream African safari. I did some research and reached out to a few companies to inquire. Ozon Light responded back right away and forwarded me a draft itinerary that was absolutely perfect for us.
We booked a two week safari and it was truly that simple.
We paid a deposit a few months before and then the final balance a few weeks before we flew from Ontario to Tanzania.
I was a little skeptical thinking can it really be this easy? Will our person show up at the airport? What if? But no. From the moment we landed in Tanzania, it has been the most phenomenal adventure we have ever been on. We are avid travellers and adventurers. This trip has surpassed anywhere else in the world for us. Ozon provided us a guide named Innocent and he drove us everywhere in our itinerary and explained things along the way.
I am nervous to be in vehicles with others driving; but with Innocent I felt safe. We truly enjoyed his company. We actually said he is welcome in our home in Ontario if he ever comes to Canada. This tour operator is outstanding. They are new. They are local, which is why we are so grateful we chose them. Other operators are owned by business people in far away countries. Ozon light is a small business trying to grow.
Our accommodations were absolutely fantastic. My husband and I cannot say enough good about this company and our experience!
