Trustworthy responsible tour operator
We booked our Safari with Golden Trips in Jan 25 for Safari in August 25 and so we were a little late in making bookings, but Irene at GT made every effort to find the accomodation we needed and helped us to organise a holiday of a lifetime. She was very responsive and was happy to discuss my requirements n detail. We are a family of 5 and so not always easy to find the right accomodation and it was important for us to have rooms nearby. Irene called and arranged for this to happen at all 8 of the places we stayed and it was only one place for one night where this wasn’t possible, which was a great outcome for us given such a late booking on our part.
We also travelled with my daughter who has a severe nut allergy and my other daughter has a restricted diet. GT called ahead to make them all aware and our great guide in Tanzania (Gaspir) spoke with the staff every evening to make it clear.
These were important things for us and GT too them seriously for which we were very grateful.
Then comes the actual safari! We did 4 days in Kenya (Lake Nokuru and Masai Mara), 5 days In Tanzania (North Serengeti, Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire NP) and 4 days in Zanzibar. They took care of everything. The only thing we booked ourselves was a UK flight into Nairobi and return from Zanzibar.
Their coordination was impeccable. We were never alone. Someone always there with us with transport. Their communication over WhatsApp was also perfect. Responses within minutes. We had many legs to our trip with different people involved but it was absolutely seamless. Also all very kind honest people, nothing was too much trouble.
The Safari experience was amazing. Comfortable Landcruisers and safe drivers. We had Jack from Axis Safari in Kenya and Gaspir from GT in Tanzania. Importantly they were both safe and responsible guides and clearly well respected by others and they showed great respect to others too.
We saw everything we wanted on the safaris and more. So many animals! The guides were patient with the animals. Within hours of going on Safari with Gaspir we came across two leopards (rare!) with only one other car around (also rare!). We waited patiently for about an hour and got to witness them mating. Gaspir navigated the terrain perfectly to allow us to witness this amazing experience and also get great photos.
The days were packed with Safari. We set off each day before 8 (target was 7.30) and maxed out viewings returning between 5.30 and 7 most days. There was always ample drinking g water in the cars and washroom stops.
The guides gave us good information and answered any questions we had. Fully English speaking so no issues there.
The accomodation we booked was great. Nice and quiet and comfortable. Only hiccup we had was in the wild camps in the Serengeti where in one of our tents there was no running water and in the next two camps there was no hot water. Nothing GT could do about this given we were at the camps for less than 12 hours but perhaps something to check the reviews of the camps for to make sure it was just a one off. The wild camps were otherwise great as great atmosphere and you could hear animals in the night. One camp had zebra visit and another elephants and in one we heard a lion! Amazing experience.
Do remember to bring dollars of the right denomination for tipping in line with local customs. Also remember to get your visas in advance and vaccines. Eg need yellow fever vaccine if going from Kenya to Tanzania. And note that Zanzibar requires you to purchase mandatory local insurance upon arrival if not bought in advance. Would be more convenient to have bought this in advance like most had done as takes time and hassle otherwise.
Very grateful to Golden Trips for organising this wonderful Safari for us and being so caring and accommodating.
I look forward to booking another experience with them in a couple of years time as they offer so much. They are a trustworthy honest company I would be happy to recommend to family and friends.

Very fulfilling experience
We had an amazing time, thanks to Axis Safari and Solomon, our exceptional guide. He was always available to lend a hand when needed. Communication was seamless, with everything clearly explained in advance. Solomon's knowledge and behaviour were superb, showcasing his deep understanding of animal movements and their nature. We spotted the big five with two hunts which is quite rare. I'd highly recommend him to anyone – you can't go wrong!

Excellent safari from start to finish
After a glitch with making our deposit, the rest of the process went off without a hitch! Having heard about Bintu Africa Adventures through JP's Magnificent Tours from Jalisco, Mexico, we knew we would be in good hands. Our safari was created, for my wife and myself, to our specifications. During this process, we were told that our preferred guide was unavailable for our timetable, but on the morning of our pick-up we were excited to see that his plans had changed and we were going on Safari with none other than Marcos, the same guide used by JP's Magnificent Tours! And Marcos did not disappoint, from the moment we jumped into his Safari jeep until we basically fell out of the vehicle at the end, exhausted but thoroughly satisfied after 4 days and 3 nights in the beautiful Kenyan countryside! When you go on a tour, you hope to get the best guide possible, and knowing JP's reputation first hand, we had high expectations for Marcos as well, and he did not disappoint! He spotted wildlife that we would have totally missed on our own! His years of experience were evident throughout the entire trip. He took great care to provide the best experience possible, ensuring our satisfaction, while maintaining the highest level of safety at all times.

I have no words to describe this life changing experience. Danford is the best guide ever.
This safari surpass all my high expectations. This is my first safari and I hope I can do more in the future. This is a life changing experience!
Danford was my guide and he is so patient and always tried to get us very close to the animals. We were able to see lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes very close. Adding to that, Danford explained a lot about the animals how to differentiate females from males, how they live and much more.
I would highly recommend this tour specially Danford he is amazing.
This experience wouldn’t be so nice without him. He made all the difference. I am so grateful of living this experience.

Attentive service and experienced driver and guide, very flexible in customizing trip options
We just finished our 1st safari tour with Meru Slopes and it was a wonderful experience. Jerome, Nickson, Kennedy and Ombeni (our safari guide) were very dedicated in making sure we got an unforgettable trip in Tanzania. We also got to see all of the Big Fives! The accomodations inside the national parks are surprisingly comfortable and sunrise/sunset views were stunning :). The food is good and healthy and they changed the menu daily :). After this trip we want to come visit Africa again. Thanks Jerome for making our trip as smooth as possible.
