The Vehicle & Setup
The safari vehicles were top-notchâincredibly clean, well-maintained, and extremely comfortable for long game drives. A huge bonus was the excellent built-in fridge, which kept our drinks ice-cold throughout the heat of the day.

Very complete experience
I like the full experience, they drive good, are funny, they look lot of animals for us and also take care of us. In camping the tends are good and also the food.
I would recommend to improve the ngorongoro campsite, it was amazing because lot of animals come to the camp but the dinner place was really cold (the campsite beside was better, the place was closed and you can buy drinks and food.

Joseph was very knowledgeable, always courteous and always accommodated our needs.
We spent a week in Kenya. Joseph picked us up at the airport and got us to our accommodations. He stayed nearby so he was always available to meet our needs. He helped plan the entire week for us balancing interesting sight visits with leisure time. Our vacation experience was fantastic largely due to Joseph's help and expertise.

Unforgettable Family Safari with Exceptional Guides, Hot Meals, and Lions Galore!
Thanks to our professional guides, we had an absolute dream safari, spotting so many animalsâespecially incredible lion encounters! We saw lions climbing up and down trees, adorable lion cubs, lionesses feeding on a zebra, and big male lions lounging in the sun.
Our trip started smoothly thanks to Ombeni, who picked us up at the airport on the first day. He gave us a fantastic introduction to Tanzania and Serengeti, helping us fully understand what to expect during our safari.
For the rest of the journey, our guide Harun was amazing. He was brilliant at spotting wildlife and shared deep, detailed knowledge about the wilderness. More than anything, he took such wonderful care of our children and was so friendly that the kids had the absolute time of their lives!
Safety and comfort were top priorities for us. Harun checked the vehicle regularly and kept it spotless throughout the trip, giving us total peace of mind. The lodges were always clean, cozy, and comfortable after long days in the bush.
A huge bonus was the food: instead of dry boxed lunches, they provided delicious hot lunches with warm rice and stew! As a Korean family traveling with kids, having warm rice made a world of differenceâwe could easily mix it with seaweed(gim) and tuna we brought, making mealtime stress-free for even the pickiest eaters!
With reasonable pricing, great accommodations, top-notch guides, and heartwarming hospitality, this was a truly happy and unforgettable experience for our entire family. We couldn't have asked for a better team!

My daughter and I had the most incredible safari experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely safe, cared for, and welcomed. Our guide, Mr. Benard Mpangala has over 20 years of experience, was exceptional. His knowledge and ability to find wildlife meant we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Seven and so much more.
Every day was filled with breathtaking sightings, unforgettable adventures, and outstanding hospitality. It exceeded every expectation we had.

Excellent guide, communication and experience!
My wife and I chose axis for our honeymoon to Maasai mara and lake Nakuru, before the trip commenced my wife had a few questions around timings, she was able to WhatsApp the operator and they replied quickly and clarified any questions we had, which was excellent.
The organisation of the trip was perfect, from pick up to drop off it was always clear what the plan was or what was to come.
The accommodations we stayed in were all amazing, with all the staff being so helpful and kind, with lake nakuru lodge being a particular highlight.
We had Tom as our guide, who was absolutely amazing and really made the trip special, he was very knowledgeable about the animals and where best to see them in the park.
He was very friendly and genuinely cared about us having a good trip, because of his efforts we were able to see all of the animals we set out to see, we felt as if we could ask any questions about the animals or Kenya as a whole.
Tom genuinely made our trip special and I cannot thank him enough for making our honeymoon a holiday we will reflect on forever.
We also took the opportunity to go on the boat ride/walking safari, and we are so glad we did, getting to be so close to all the animals was an unforgettable experience.

Exceeded all expectations. Incredible experience
We had the most amazing time on our honey moon safari. Axis have been absolutely incredible from the very start. They replied to any questions I had prior to the safari on WhatsApp very quickly and were so helpful.
Our tour guide Tom made our whole experience unforgettable. He was so friendly, gave us lots of information about Kenya and the animals and was so passionate about it. We were able to see every single animal we wanted. We saw majority of the big 5 within the first game drive and then the rest in the second game drive. And this was down to Tomâs dedication at finding the animals for us. We were very well looked after during our tour. Both of our accommodations were excellent and the whole trip was so well organised.
The optional activities were INCREDIBLE and so worth the additional money. The people in the Masai village were so friendly and taught us about their culture. The boat ride and the walking safari in Navaisha was unforgettable and a highlight of our trip. Couldnât have asked for a better experience and that is completely down to Tom and Axis Africa.

5 STAR 5 DAY HONEYMOON EXPERIENCE
I genuinely canât put into words how incredible the Magic of Wild team were during our 5-day honeymoon safari in July.
As someone from the UK who had never been to Africa before, I was naturally nervous about booking and paying such a large amount upfront. We spent a long time researching different companies, reading reviews and comparing options, but there was still that uncertainty. Looking back now, booking with Magic of Wild was one of the best decisions we made for our honeymoon.
If anyone is reading this and has any reservations about booking â donât. These guys are the real deal and they genuinely go above and beyond.
From the moment we landed, the experience was first class. They met us at the airport with a bouquet of flowers for Emma, personalised water bottles, and when we got to the safari vehicle it even had a personalised âHoneymoonersâ sign on the front. It was such a thoughtful touch and immediately set the tone for the trip.
Our guide, Kelvin, was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, friendly, funny and genuinely passionate about what he does. We learnt so much throughout the safari, and nothing ever felt rushed. Itâs also worth mentioning that the roads in Tanzania can be unbelievably rough, so you put a huge amount of trust in your driver. Kelvin was fantastic and always made the journey as comfortable and smooth as possible.
The little details throughout the trip really made it special. On our first day he surprised us by setting up a private dinner table in the middle of the national park, which was such an unforgettable experience. Every day we had great lunches, plenty of drinks and the vehicleâs mini bar was always fully stocked.
Then thereâs the safari itselfâŚ
We were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, and I honestly believe Kelvin went above and beyond to make sure we achieved it. His knowledge of the parks and wildlife was unbelievable, and thanks to him we had some incredibly close encounters that weâll never forget.
Freddy also deserves a huge mention. He was brilliant from start to finish and made us feel completely looked after throughout the whole experience.
The reason this review is an easy five stars, though, goes beyond the safari itself. On our final day, before flying from Arusha to Zanzibar, I accidentally left my camera on the safari truck. As you can imagine, I completely panicked.
What happened next genuinely blew me away.
Freddy tracked the camera down, found someone who was flying to Zanzibar that same day, entrusted them with my camera, then organised a taxi driver to travel over an hour to personally deliver it to our hotel. The only thing I had to pay for was the taxi fare.
That level of customer service is incredibly rare, and itâs something Iâll never forget.
Magic of Wild should be incredibly proud of what theyâve built. They donât just provide an amazing safari â they create memories that will stay with you forever.
If youâre considering a safari in Tanzania or the Serengeti, I honestly couldnât recommend them highly enough.
