Unforgettable experience
My partner and I have just returned to Italy after spending 13 fantastic days in Kenya!! .....The safari organised by Marurumi Safaris was impeccable, with attention to the smallest details. James accompanied us to the various parks with great patience, showing great experience and professionalism, giving explanations and valuable advice.

Amazing organisation
Booked a 5 days package ( Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana ), with a stay at the Pioneers Lodge.
Tatenda ( my contact at the agency ) helped me chose the right package (visit to the falls, night and day safari, transport by van, jeep and boat ), and everything was so well organised. A real professional !
Simon ( our guide during our stay ) was the best: careful driver, fantastic guide, helpful and always with a smile.
Both of them made this trip unforgettable and all of us hope to come back one day !

Engaging
Tour was good and smooth, ride was comfortable. Lambs was our guide and he was funny and had many stories about the animals. Did not manage to see all big 5 animals but overall a wonderful experience.

Unprofessional
We paid $1,200 for a 3-day Masai Mara safari and had a very disappointing, and at times, unsafe experience.
The guide provided little actual guiding or group management. For most of the trip, the vehicle felt like a party bus rather than a professional safari.
More concerning were the safety issues:
• the guide drank beer before driving
• frequently used his phone while driving
• failed to manage disruptive behavior
• at the end of the trip, we were dropped off at a gas station on the side of the highway and told to take an Uber instead of being transported to our accommodation as arranged.
The company later acknowledged the problem and suspended the guide, but refused any refund or compensation.
This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip that fell far below professional standards. I would not book with them again.

The trip was well planned, right from the time management, transportation, accommodation, meals, fun etc. We visited all the places that had been listed for the trip. We had an incredible experience booking our safari with Martin. From the start, he was exceptionally patient and helpful, tailoring the itinerary to our specific needs and providing all necessary official documentation to ensure complete peace of mind regarding the company's legitimacy. The communication was prompt, and the payment process felt very secure and trusting.
Our guide, Vicent, was fantastic. Despite being younger, his knowledge of the local culture and language is vast. He was always happy to go above and beyond, like taking us to eat at local village spots outside the standard itinerary.
We booked a mid-to-high-end tour and felt we received excellent value. The lodges were very good to amazing, offering fantastic service. For the fair price we paid compared to other offers, the quality was outstanding. We would definitely book with them again for any future trips to Rwanda and Uganda.
