Very helpful and a wonderful experience!
This was an incredible private safari experience from start to finish. We saw far more animals than we ever expected, and our guide Salim had an amazing eye for spotting wildlife and positioning the vehicle so we could get great views. He made sure we had plenty of time to observe and photograph each sighting, which made a huge difference for our camera and overall experience.
The parks themselves were stunning — beautiful landscapes, diverse habitats, and wildlife everywhere you looked. Every drive felt like something new was about to happen.
We also really appreciated David’s help when we had last-minute flight changes. He handled everything quickly and took a lot of stress off our shoulders so we could focus on enjoying the trip.
Overall, an unforgettable adventure that we would absolutely recommend.

We traveled as friends and chose jungle roam safaris for our 6 days safari in Kenya, and we would choose them again a thousand times over.
From our very first request for information, they were always incredibly punctual with their replies and constantly made sure to fully understand what we were expecting from the safari, in order to guarantee us the best possible experience. Beyond organizing the parks and safari areas, as well as the overnight accommodations, jungle roam provided us with every possible piece of information regarding any curiosity or doubt we had. Truly outstanding support.
As for the safari itself, it is difficult to put into words all the emotions we experienced during this incredible journey. What we know for sure is that it would not have been the same without our amazing guide Francis .
Francis is not only a very friendly and genuinely funny person, but also a true living encyclopedia when it comes to African wildlife. Throughout the safari we asked him countless questions, and he always answered with enthusiasm, often adding even more fascinating details. His knowledge is not limited to animals alone, but also extends to the flora — absolutely incredible.
What impressed us the most is that Francis seems to know every single road, track, and area of the parks by heart, in a way that is honestly hard to believe. During the entire safari, he managed to transmit his deep love for nature and for this land, and thanks to his extraordinary experience, he gifted us with truly rare sightings. We were told that seeing a leopard on safari is quite rare… well, thanks to Francis we saw one of them! Not to mention the black rhinos in lake Nakuru national park, cheetahs in Masai Mara and Amboseli, and countless other extraordinary encounters.
Francis was also always extremely attentive to every one of our needs throughout the safari and during the game drives.

Another fundamental thing was Every single meal — from breakfast to lunch and dinner — was freshly cooked just before each occasion and perfectly organized so we could enjoy great food wherever we were during the game drives. All the dishes were absolutely delicious, and every day we were surprised by varying menu, cooked food not only local dishes but even Chinese ones. Everything was truly excellent!
Our safari took place in February 2026 and included amboseli, lake naivasha crescent island , lake Nakuru national park and Masai Mara national reserve . All the accommodations were incredible, with a special mention for Kibo camp where we fell asleep at night to the sounds of hyenas, lions, and elephants , as well as Keekorok lodge in the heart of Masai Mara which was an absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable place.
We could talk for hours about this magnificent experience, but words would still not do it justice.

Greg was fantastic, he made the trip very memorable and enjoyable. He was helpful, friendly, approachable, flexible, greatly supported us with whatever we needed (add-hoc change of agenda, local advices, tips and tricks and more ;-)) and quickly provided solutions for our “travelling hiccups”. The best was, that he also took us to local places, we did not planned to see. He was great with our kids. I can only recommend ;-)

Fantastic safari experience with Francis
My friends and I went on a 6 day safari with jungle roam safaris and we LOVED it. Jungleroam was responsive and great to communicate with from the very beginning. They answered all our questions and tailored the trip to what we were looking for, despite us changing direction ourselves a couple of times. We wanted an experienced, locally-based company (Kenyan owned ) and one that is transparent about how things operate, all of which they are. Their prices were fair and in-line with the services we received, which was a spectacular 6 day safari in a private vehicle to 3 different national parks, focused on what we wanted to do and see.
Our guide, Francis was phenomenal and we could tell how experienced and professional he was from the start, and quickly learned how patient he was as well, as we spent plenty of stops looking up random birds in Amboseli and other creatures that other tourists likely don't care much about. We saw a truly stunning number of unique animal species throughout our trip (over 100) and many individuals of quite of few of those species. We were lucky enough to see the big 5 ( including 3 black rhinos in Nakuru and 3 white rhinos) and though a lot of that is just luck and good timing, we were grateful for Francis experience and communication which allowed us to track down where some animals happened to be at that time. We were also excited to see whatever we could, even if it was the "less glamorous" safari creatures, which was a great part of our experience and one that Francis helped back up as well by pointing out anything and everything as he picked up on what we were intrigued by.
Our safari vehicle was wonderful, kept miraculously clean by Francis despite all our muddy shoes and such, and very comfortable and spacious for the 4 of us. It was perfect for us to move around in and get all the photos we wanted, which was also super important to us. By the time we were done with our safari, we had seen so many other companies' vehicles broken down and getting stuck yet I still had no doubts whatsoever of our jungle roam vehicle or Francis driving style. We felt safe, taken care of, and confident in all aspects of our safari, really without a doubt.
We went with what Jungleroam calls "mid-range" accommodations (which they arranged for us) and all of them exceeded our expectations, especially being out in the bush. Staff at all the locations were wonderful and the food was excellent, including the lunch boxes that we got out in the parks.
Overall, we had such a spectacular time on this trip, as our first time to Kenya and to the continent, and it was largely due to such a great tour company, tour guide, and all the amazing things they helped us see and experience, and we would highly recommend both francis and Jungleroam Adventures to anyone looking for a Kenyan safari!

We had a blast with Serengeti Cheers on our safari!! It was so informative, we learned so much, and we had so much fun. We got to see many animals, learn about the habitat, and see how traditional life is like in Tanzania. We would love to go back, and do safari again with them!!

One in a life time experience thanks to Santa
A great guide who is not only funny but also has a keen eye for wildlife (and knows a lot about the animals). He was the only one who spotted the lion on the second morning. I can highly recommend Black Santa. He put together a package that suited us perfectly and gave us two unforgettable days. The day tour of Mombasa was also fantastic. Black Santa was always reliable, always in time, and always around us. The communication before and during the trip was super easy.
Advice I: Before you go on safari, learn the English words for rarer animals such as ostrich or grey crowned crane or warthog to understand when Black Santa points out to them as he sees them in the bushes.
Advice II: The self carved wood items in the gallery before entering the park are really hand crafted (coming from the Akamba handcraft market in Mombasa where more than 2000 carvers work together in a cooperative and provide the whole country with there work. (However, by far the best and largest selection can be found at the Akamba Handcraft Market itself, where you can also watch the artists at work.
