Highest service, honnesty, fast turnaround
5/5

The most satisfying aspect was the fast turnaround and the ability to clarify the multiple aspects of the logistics.

Secondly our guide/driver was 90% fluent in our native language (French), same for the English (I am bilingual). French was used the most and sometime, english filled the gap. In other words, communication was quick, easy and highly efficient.

IMO the value for money is on par and most likely higher than the other safaris. Note that many safaris start by a day at the hotel...therfore a 5 days is in fact a 4 days safari...smart scam IMAO.

THe only (slightly negative) aspect was about the driving..just wondering. The car was worn and required some attention. The positive side is that it provided us with the opportunity to be closer and interact with people. Last, we wonder if the driving/route can be optimized. Our GPS app provided the actual path we used, seems it can be improved.

All things considered, I would have no hesitation to go on another safari with Telly.

I felt safe & secure with 100% reliable Arthur
5/5

I am a female solo traveller and this was my first trip to Africa. I felt rather nervous and anxious about a few issues:
- I found ASM Travel and Arthur on the Internet: I didn't know Arthur from Adam! Is he reliable? Is my money safe with him?
- I was nervous and anxious about being in Africa

However, I've wanted to experience Africa for many years so went ahead with my booking with Arthur/ASM Travel.

I need not have been concerned at all. Arthur couldn't have made me feel more safe and secure from the moment he met me at the airport. He was at Victoria Fall Airport waiting for me with my name on a placard. The transfer to the hotel (Nkosi Lodge) went smoothly and I was there in no time, chatting happily with Arthur during the drive as he made me feel relaxed. I confess to feeling a huge sense of relief! Remember ... I was a female solo traveller!

The punctuality and reliabity above was the standard throughout my nine days and eight nights of my booking with ASM Travel. Where pick up was using an external agency, ie, a company that operates an activity, Arthur always checked that I would be picked up and kept me informed of the progress of the transport, even at 6am in the morning!

THE TOUR ITSELF
During the booking of the tour, Arthur was helpful and patient in helping me decide the range of activities I could engage in for what I wanted to experience in Africa: I wanted to enjoy myself of course but I also wanted to learn as much as I can about the country and its people. What was also important for me was to have life enriching experiences. I am so pleased to be able to say that I did achieve my objectives.

- There were exciting activities such as doing the CANOPY TOUR and going into DEVIL'S POOL! I enjoyed these thoroughly.

- Arthur arranged a visit to an orphanage and took me there personally. The visit made me feel humbled and was certainly life enriching.

- A visit to a Traditional African Village, Mukuni Village, gave me perspectives of the 'Real Africa'. I saw and experienced how traditonal Africans still live: their dwellings and way of life. I had opportunities to intearact with the people in the village. I can probably say I 'felt Africa' duing this visit.

- A three night stay at The Ivory Safari Lodge in the Hwange National Park with safaris in the morning and evening: on one occasion the evening safari turned into a night safari. The safaris were pure magic and such a privilege to be able to see a big range of wildlife, including birds, in 'their environment'. it was pure magic, especially the evening/night safari: a sundowner followed by a drive through the bush in the dark under the clear star lit sky, and with no civilisation in sight.

- The sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi River with the stunning and beautiful sunset, and glimpses of hippos in the water were simply a great experience.

- Dinner at the Dusty Road Restaurant is also highly recommended. Traditonal African food is served to the accompaniment of a live band playing the most relaxing African music in the most beautiful and unique setting.

- An evening safari in the Stanley Game Reserve 'hunting' rhinos was fruitful. This was followed by a dinner that served traditional African food. And such a delight to have unlimited beverages included!

IN SUMMARY:
The tour represented good value for money. Arthur was 100% reliable and highly attentive. He made me feel safe and secure as a female solo traveller. Nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to ensure that I was having a good time, and felt safe. He designed an itinerary, including accommodation, to suit my objectives and my budget.

He comes highly recommended from me and I can confidently say that you will not be disappointed.

Best tour experience ever
5/5

I had an amazing experience on this half-day safari through Across wilderness Expedition! The pick-up was on time and the guide was super easy to deal with and he really understood his assignment. We saw giraffes, buffalo, rhinos and a Ostrich. The safari vehicle was comfortable with a pop-up roof, perfect for animal viewing and photos. Since it was on a short notice, it felt well organized and totally worth it. What a great way to get a real safari feel within the Capital city! Will definitely be doing this again with Across Wilderness Expedition!

Thank you very much for your kind and competent support. Petra was always quick and easy to reach in the run-up to our trip planning. All our wishes, ideas, and fixed points for our trip were taken into account and a super impressive tour was put together for us. The personal welcome at Windhoek Airport was very pleasant and enabled us to get our vacation off to a quick start. Many thanks, Petra!

Professional from start to finish
5/5

I spent 5 days exploring Tanzania's beautiful parks with my amazing guide/driver Victor!
Victor was friendly, helpful and professional at all times. He nativagted the rough roads with precision and skill, always making me feel safe even when visibility was low in Serengeti.
Victor has a keen eye for spotting all the animals and is genuinely excited to see them all with you.
He made my trip even more wonderful!

The best experience.
5/5

Our guide Mr. Ombeni from Gosheni was amazing. You can tell he’s been doing this for years — he knows the land, the animals, and how to make every day special.
He somehow spotted wildlife that we couldn’t see even with binoculars!
Besides being super skilled, he’s fun, cheerful, and made everyone feel comfortable and happy throughout the trip.

Shafino Made Our Tanzanian Safari Special and Unforgettable!
5/5

I cannot recommend Shafino highly enough as he took us on a once-in-a-lifetime safari through the Serengeti, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro, enabled by his expertise and dedication!

Shafino's knowledge of the animals and their behavior is outstanding. He shared stories from his experiences, answered all our questions, and taught us a lot. He’s an expert in the local terrain, has an excellent sense of direction, and knows exactly where to find the animals. He even knew specific prides and groups of lions, which gave us special insight into the animals we saw.

In just 2-3 days, we saw 8 of the big 9! Some special moments that showcase Shafino’s commitment: getting us very close to water buffalo, finding not one but two leopards in a single day, and going out of his way to position us perfectly to see a magnificent male lion on a rock during the Serengeti sunset.

Beyond his wildlife knowledge, Shafino was very thoughtful and considerate. For example, he always opened doors for us, closed his window when other vehicles passed to prevent dust from entering ours, and always ensured we had ample time to take photos without feeling rushed. The vehicle was always in excellent condition, and he was consistently punctual.

We would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari adventure.

Couldn't imagine a better experience. Exceeded my expectations
5/5

My friend and I chose to celebrate our 40th birthdays with something we’d both dreamed about for years—a safari in Tanzania. After searching online, we came across Wivi Agency, and something about their approach felt right. Still, this was a big step for us. Not only was it our first safari, but also the first time we handed over the reins of travel planning to someone else. No spreadsheets, no frantic research, no long nights comparing reviews. Just trust. To be honest, we were a little nervous.

But from the moment we landed, every worry melted away. Wivi Agency delivered an experience that far exceeded our hopes.

Some highlights that meant the world to us:

* Mwanne, from the Wivi office, was incredible—warm, responsive, and efficient. She patiently answered every question, adjusted our itinerary with grace, and made sure we felt taken care of before we even stepped foot in Tanzania.

* The pricing was fair and transparent. Beyond flights and visa fees, everything else was covered—no surprise charges, no hidden costs, just peace of mind.

* We were met promptly at the airport by a driver who greeted us with a smile. No stress. No confusion. Just the feeling of being welcomed.

* We chose the mid-range lodging option, and honestly, we were blown away. Each place had its own charm, but all were clean, peaceful, and staffed with kind, attentive people. Personal highlights included Planet Lodge Arusha, Heart and Soul Lake Manyara, Simba Tarangire Lodge, and Embalakai Camp—each offered a sense of serenity and connection to nature that’s hard to put into words.

* The meals were hearty and satisfying. While not gourmet, they were consistently good—especially after a long day on the road or in the bush. Hot packed lunches, buffets, and warm smiles made every meal something to look forward to.

* The safari vehicle was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed—water, beer, wine, soda, and charging ports. No mechanical issues, no worries.

* A big plus: very little “forced shopping.” We've both been on trips where that’s a constant distraction. On this safari, we made only a couple of optional stops, and there was zero pressure. It was refreshing to just enjoy the experience.

But the true heart of this journey—the soul of it—was our guide, Shabani.

There are good guides, and then there are guides like Shabani—people who live and breathe this land, who radiate joy and curiosity, and who somehow manage to connect with you exactly where you are. I’m an eager question-asker, endlessly curious about everything around me. My friend is quieter, more focused on photography and those picture-perfect moments. Somehow, Shabani balanced both our energies with ease.

He was a fountain of knowledge—about animals, birds, trees, landscapes, languages, and culture. He could sense when we wanted silence, and when we needed stories. He navigated rough roads, complicated logistics, and even unexpected schedule changes with a calm professionalism that gave us total confidence.

But more than that—he cared. When we were lucky enough to witness a leopard hunting, he was just as excited as we were. When it rained, he smiled through it. He had a gift for knowing when to wait, when to move, and where to look. His patience during river crossings or quiet moments observing wildlife behavior gave us the space to really experience the magic of the wild.

He was, simply put, a joy to travel with. We will always be grateful to have shared this journey with him.

If I had to name one hiccup, it was a small scheduling mix-up where Wivi changed one of our hotel bookings without informing Shabani. It resulted in two single-night stays instead of one two-night stay. A bit inconvenient, but ultimately minor in the context of a spectacular journey.

The most amazing part? I didn’t plan any of this. I just showed up—and left with my heart full.

If you’re on the fence, wondering whether to book with Wivi Agency, don’t hesitate. Hand them your trust—they’ll return it tenfold.

This wasn’t just a trip. It was a gift.
Thank you, Wivi, for making our 40th unforgettable.
