The trip of a lifetime!
5/5

Our family had an incredible experience with Zohar African Safaris, including two days on the Serengeti, and one each in Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Jackline worked with us to plan the trip of our dreams, including arranging for an indescribably gorgeous sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti. Everything was meticulously planned for us, right from pickup at Kilimanjaro Airport in a spacious van with cool towels, delicious snacks, and fresh juice. Each of the lodges and the luxury tented camp had beautiful rooms with large and very comfortable beds, wifi, delicious buffet dinners and breakfasts, warm packed lunches, and friendly staff.
The safari days were led by our outstanding guide, Nathan. His genuine passion for nature and love for his job made the whole experience incredibly engaging and memorable. Nathan was patient, easy to talk to, and so knowledgeable. He made sure we saw the big five and many other animals - our favourite sights were the playful lion cubs, a leopard coming down from a tree for a drink, and the beautiful flamingos. Nathan went above and beyond every day, pausing whenever we wanted to take photos, always making sure we were fed and comfortable, and even tracking down our lost binoculars one evening.
The staff made sure to check in with us before, during, and after the trip, which really made our family feel valued and welcome. Our safari with Zohar exceeded all possible expectations, and we simply can’t imagine it having been any better. We highly recommend Zohar (especially Nathan!) for anyone looking for a luxurious, safe, and overall incredible experience.

An unforgettable adventure
5/5

We did a 10 day adventure starting and ending in Rwanda, but spending 9 days in Uganda.
We did a Golden Monkey trek, a Chimpanzee trek, and a Gorilla trek. We also did several game drives and saw ALL of the Big 5!
This trip was truly incredible. Patrick K was the driver of my safari vehicle and Ronnie was the driver of the other vehicle in our group. Both guides were phenomenal and I truly hope to see them both again.

This trip was unforgettable and I highly recommend EcoAdventure Safaris. I know I will be using them again if I come back to any of the countries that they operate in.

Well organized budget-group Safari with incredibly friendly tour guide
5/5

Me and a friend had a marvellous 5-day budget Safari with Josh Dramland Safari! Together with our tour guide Peter we joined a group of of 5 other German travellers. Peter made sure we all had a very good time together, showed us as many animals as possible and gave us interesting facts an insights about nature, the animals and Tanzania along the way. You could really feel that he enjoys the exchange with all the travellers from around the world, we had interesting discussions over breakfast, lunch and dinner. These meals were very tasty and freshly prepared by Pascal the chef. I really liked that we got a proper meal for lunch with rice, vegetables, meat and fruit where other Safari cars only had these little cardboard boxes from their lodges.
Although we booked only campsites, we got to stay 2 times at Ngedere lodge near Lake Manyara with fresh beds, pool and hot shower. That was a very pleasant unexpected luxury.
Two times our car had some problems with a front wheels but after driving us to camp safely, Peter took the car to the workshop and got it fixed so our trip was not affected at all.
Considering the price alone for just entering all the national Parcs (Lake Manyara, Ngorogoro, Serengeti, Tarangire) summs up to more than 300$ I think we got a very good value for our money.
All in all we are very happy for our experience and would definitely do it again!

My wife and I spent 8 fantastic days visiting these wonderful game reserves.
Amani was always punctual very professional and flexible throughout the entire week.
He has chosen perfect lodges and the price money vs within our low budget.

A Life Changing Experience
5/5

We decided we wanted to go to Rwanda to go Gorilla Trekking. We found Eric Sabi from Hope Tours on Instagram. From the very beginning, Hope Tours was a professional organization. Eric is the owner of the company. He was very prompt in answering our questions and guiding us through the booking process. He was able to secure our hotels in Kigali and Volcanoes National Park as well as our gorilla permits.

Once we arrived in Rwanda, Eric treated us like first class travelers. We arrived on an early morning flight and he was able to secure an early check-in time at the hotel. All the accommodations and food were excellent. In Kigali we were able to do a city driving tour and the genocide museum. Eric also took us to some great local restaurants. In the volcanoes area, we saw the Dian Fossey/Ellen Degeneres Campus, Gorilla Guardian Village, and did Golden Monkey trekking. Eric was able to accommodate some of our individual requests for sight seeing as well.

Obviously the highlight of the trip was the Gorillas. We found a family of 14 (2 Silverback's and 3 baby's). Words cannot describe what it is like to be just a few feet away from these amazing creatures. They are such calm and peaceful animals. The hour you get to spend with them goes by very quickly.

Hope Tours Africa run by Eric Sabi is a top tier company. I cannot recommend them enough.

Caring, safe, flexible & made our dreams come true!
5/5

I would like to thank Martin and Stuart for helping us experience an adventure holiday of a lifetime. A custom tour designed extra for us, that included all of our wishes, Mission accomplished! From start to finish we felt safe, secure, comfortable (even with the bumpy Uganda roads - our extra special Uganda massages were a running joke and fun factor.)
Our accommodations were beautiful, always giving us time to rest between safaris, gorillas and chimpanzees. Delicious meals and stops along the way ensured we were never left hungry or wondering when the next stop will be. Stuart is an impeccable guide & driver, full of history, trivia and always was able to judge our ‚reception‘ capabilities, or a need for some quiet, sometimes just 'African Beats‘ on his play list.
We wish both, and Wagatil Safaris, continued success, fabulous adventures and many many happy clients - and can’t wait to book our return to beautiful Uganda

Well organised, flexible and friendly - highly recommended!
5/5

Our family (2 adults, 3 teenagers) had a 5-day safari trip in the Northern circuit organised by Goldfinch Adventures, a small local company run by the super-organised Kelvin. During the booking process and throughout the safari, Kelvin personally responded quickly and helpfully to questions by email and text. He even came to the airport to meet us at the start and end of the trip to make sure we were looked after. All flight and taxi transfers from Dar Es Salaam and Zanzibar were also organised for us.

The journeys and game drives were well planned, and the days were full but not too tiring. The jeep was comfortable with enough space for us and our suitcases and well-stocked with soft drinks and beers to help us through the hotter parts of the day!

We opted for mid-range accommodation and stayed in very comfortable and clean lodges which had excellent dinners and breakfast and also provided delicious packed lunches of rice and curries every day. Vegetarians were well catered for.

Our experienced safari guide, Emmanuel, was simply fantastic, with a brilliant knowledge of the plants, birds and animals in each park and and a sharp eye for spotting shy creatures. He was a really careful driver on some tricky roads, and in the face of some aggressive elephants! He was patient and friendly and really looked after us, ensuring we were comfortable on the trip and well fed while also making sure we all saw our favourite animals.

We also opted for the Ol Doinyo Lengai hike, and Kelvin adapted the rest of our tour for this to get us there and back and give us time to rest after the hike. He also arranged for a excellent local
Masai guides Makoi and Matai to make sure we made it up and down the challenging hike safely.

We really appreciated how personalised the trip felt thanks to Kelvin - it really was an holiday of a lifetime and we have no hesitation in recommending Goldfinch Adventures to anyone considering travelling in Tanzania!

The safari was really good. Tarangire and Ngorongoro are very beautiful and I could see the big 5 of Africa. The price was also very good.

Amazing Wildlife, Average Value & Planning
4/5

My recent Masai Mara tour with Jocky Tours included some truly unforgettable moments. We were fortunate to see all of the Big Five, plus a cheetah, a rare sighting. At one point, lions even slept under our vehicle, which was surreal and easily the highlight of the trip.

However, the overall organization left much to be desired. Day 1 felt rushed and not the best planned, we stopped for lunch during a very short drive and barely entered the park. It felt more like a 1-day safari stretched out rather than a full 3-day experience.

I was also surprised to learn that I paid almost $300 more for the exact same experience compared to others in my group. That price difference felt unfair.

While the guide (Elias) was kind and helpful, he was less engaging, often moving quickly from one sighting another. It made the experience feel a bit rushed.

One thing I genuinely wondered, if it is well known that the wildebeest migration often happens early in the morning or late at night, why are the game drives scheduled during mid-day hours when migration is unlikely to be seen?

Overall, I am thankful for the incredible wildlife we encountered on Day 2, but I expected better value, clearer communication and better planning given the price I paid.
