Very good operator! Attentive and responsive to our needs
An extraordinary trip that met all our expectations! Thank you to the team and to James, our guide in the park, who did everything to give us the most amazing experience. We had the opportunity to see lions up close (3 times), elephants, giraffes, crocodiles, wildebeests, impalas, zebras, hippos, warthogs, and monkeys. The meals and accommodation were of very high quality!

Incredible
For our 12-day safari, there were two of us, and we had an unforgettable experience! We had the pleasure of observing numerous animals, sometimes at very close range. The lodges were exceptionally pleasant, and our guide and driver were incredibly knowledgeable.

Wow, just wow! Thanks Kush!
I had the experience of a lifetime on this safari. With only two nights, we managed to see all the animals we sought out in greater quantities than expected. We caught sights of some elusive animals like the leopard and serval cat.
Kush was an incredibly skilled driver and host who did everything possible to show our group all the sights Masai Mara had to offer. I would recommend you request him because he does not disappoint. Animals aside, our tour included remarkable sunrises, double rainbows, and plant life. Food throughout our budget accommodation was great and plentiful.

Very generous and enthusiastic about his work.
Our tour operator Calvin is a very generous person, he helped us a lot during our trip. He also learned a lot of Chinese which make our trip more enjoyable. In short, Calvin really did a great job of helping us find animals, as well as bringing happiness into the whole journey.

Very reliable and honest and fast and easy responding experience! Highly recommend!
I am very satisfied with the whole experience, Mercy is such a great organiser and easy to reach and responds immediately to any questions! Just amazing. Also as first timers we went to Nairobi park, the Elephant Sanctuary and the Giraffe sanctuary with Sammy. He made the whole day such a joy, he kept us safe and even found us a pharmacy for an allergy attack. If you go on a tour, ask for him!!! Rest assured if you book with Mercy you get value for your money without any hassle and stress🙏🏼

Bamboo Ecotours gave me an experience of a lifetime to visit trek and see the mountain gorillas
I did the 2 day trip from Kigali, Rwanda to trek in Bwindi National Forest with return trip back to the airport in Kigali. Amanya, my guide and driver, promptly picked me up at my hotel and was available for questions throughout. He drove safely through the pretty country towns of Rwanda and Uganda where I got to eat local food and see locals living life. He was funny and informative and I enjoyed my 5 hour drive with him. The Gorilla trek experience itself was amazing! The tour group and guide was enjoyable and I got to see the amazing apes up close and safely. I highly recommend this company for an amazing trip, good communication and efficient service.

Safaris that never disappoint!
In June of 2025 I went on my second safari in Tanzania with Kiliholidays, and it was even better than the first! The management took great care and a great deal of time to customize my 6-day safari to meet my needs, which included almost 4 days in the Serengeti. They had the patience to deal with dozens of messages and questions I sent prior to booking, and addressed all of my concerns. They booked us into the Embalakai tented camp in the Serengeti, meaning we were able to stay out on the game drive until it was almost dark. This made for excellent photo opportunities near sunset! Embalakai is a high-quality tented camp with amazing food and friendly staff. I believe that Kiliholidays provides very good to excellent accommodation and safari service at very competitive prices - it's one of the most affordable options out there, short of sleeping in campgrounds (which we did not do). The best part is that our guide and driver, Thomas, is extremely experienced, knowledgeable, and flexible: an all-around good man and a real pleasure to ride with for 6 days! Unless you want to spend thousands of dollars more, go with Kiliholidays and you won't be disappointed.

Incredible 6 days Uganda tour
We booked our 6-day Uganda safari with Bamboo Ecotours, and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. It was a bit last-minute, but Edison made it happen—super responsive, professional, and flexible. I traveled with my 16-year-old daughter, and now Uganda has stolen both our hearts. She’s already saying she wants to come back!
We started in Kigali, Rwanda and ended in Entebbe, Uganda, which made the journey even more special as we got to experience two countries in one trip.
Our guide John was simply the best—so friendly, kind, and full of knowledge. He told us stories about Ugandan culture, wildlife, and even about his own family, which made the whole experience feel incredibly personal. He made sure we were safe, comfortable, and truly immersed in everything Uganda has to offer.
The itinerary was perfectly paced. Highlights included:
• Gorilla trekking in Bwindi – surreal and humbling.
• Golden monkey trekking and Lake Bunyonyi – magical sunsets.
• Queen Elizabeth National Park safari and boat cruise – we saw elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and so many birds!
• Chimp trekking in Kibale – energetic and fascinating.
• Bigodi Community Tour – we helped cook a traditional Ugandan meal and even helped make local banana beer! This is an absolute must-do.
Every lodge was cozy and clean, and the food… wow! Fresh, flavorful, and full of local flair.
Uganda is a gem—lush landscapes, kind people, and unforgettable wildlife. We felt welcomed everywhere we went. Thank you John and Edison for making this a dream trip. Highly, highly recommend Bamboo Ecotours to anyone thinking about Africa!
