We did a 2-day/1-night safari in Nyerere National Park and honestly… what can I say? It was an experience we will never forget!
We absolutely fell in love with our guide, William. He taught us so much and was such a kind, attentive and caring person. I really recommend asking for William as your guide if you can, you definitely won’t regret it!
As for the safari itself… WOW! It was an incredible experience. We were lucky enough to see elephants, giraffes, lions, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, countless different species of birds, monkeys everywhere we looked, and so much more…
Honestly, just go for it! One of the biggest advantages of Nyerere is that it is such a huge park (the largest in Tanzania), so you can sometimes find yourself completely alone in the middle of nature, surrounded only by animals and the incredible peace and quiet. That really makes the experience even more special!
We had an intense full-day safari from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. On the second day, we woke up at dawn to go on a boat safari. We were lucky enough to watch the sunrise in the middle of the river, the largest river in East Africa. We were completely alone out there, with an amazing guide who was driving the boat. We got to see hippos, crocodiles and some absolutely beautiful birds. It was a wonderful experience!
After that, we headed back to Dar es Salaam, which was about a 4-hour drive. It was another great opportunity to immerse ourselves in the country, with breathtaking landscapes along the way.
And finally, a huge highlight for us was the lodge where we stayed: Mloka Safari Lodge. The place is incredible, the food was absolutely delicious, and the breakfast… honestly, I will never forget their pancakes! 😂
The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and always smiling. Staying there was a real pleasure.
So honestly, GO FOR IT — you absolutely won’t regret it, I promise! And if you have the opportunity to have William as your guide, even better. His kindness, patience and genuine care made the whole experience even more incredible. ❤️

An extremely capable manager who made it magnificent safari run smoothly and extremely comfortable.
We can’t fault any part of the experience and would recommend this to anyone with a sense of adventure, Robert (Kenyan guide) and Nelly (Tanzanian guide) provided us with lifelong memories.

Attentive and kind team, flexible organization, definetely reccomended
We organized a 4 days safari in Northern Tanzania with them. They're flexible and precise in communicating and organizing the trip and payments, and our guide/driver Brian and Issa were kind, precise, available and patient, and really appreciated by our family group. We absolutely reccomend Kibo Mawenzi Safaris, if I could rate a 6 stars, I would have given them!

Great day out near Johannesburg, saw lots of animals, great vistas and good guide and host Tshiamo
Great day out with Tshiamo, he was a good host to what was a spectacular nature reserve. We saw a good number of the animals, including very close, even Lions next to the road, though they were lazy and wouldn't get out of the long grass.
Transport from Johannesburg and back and the lunch was all really good. Price tag is not small, but I thought it was worth it for the whole day

An unforgettable safari with Dana Safaris
We have just returned from the most incredible safari experience with Dana Safaris, and we genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough.
Our safari began in the Masai Mara with Clement, who was a wonderful guide from the very beginning. He was warm, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, with such a genuine passion for the animals and wildlife. He was exceptionally quick at spotting animals and always seemed to know exactly where to look. We felt completely looked after and had some truly unforgettable sightings with him.
We then continued our journey with Hauth, who was absolutely incredible. He was everything you could want in a safari guide — professional, calm, kind, patient and incredibly intuitive. What really stood out was his ability to anticipate animal behaviour. He seemed to know what an animal was about to do before it happened, which resulted in some phenomenal sightings and photographs.
Hauth took us from the Northern Serengeti and the Mara River, through the Central Serengeti, into the Ngorongoro Crater and finally to Tarangire National Park. He navigated an enormous itinerary with complete professionalism and made every day feel effortless.
We saw things we will remember for the rest of our lives — the Great Migration and an actual Mara River crossing, lion cubs, cheetah, leopard, and an incredible nine rhinos in the Ngorongoro Crater, amongst so many other amazing animals.
A special mention also has to go to Daniel from Dana Safaris, who was fantastic throughout the whole planning process. He was always available whenever I had one of my many questions or concerns about how everything would work. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he was incredibly reassuring, responsive and helpful. Knowing that I could message him and get a quick answer made the whole trip feel so much more relaxed.
But what made the trip truly special was the guides. Their knowledge, enthusiasm and care made us feel that this wasn’t simply a safari — they genuinely wanted us to have the best possible experience and share their love of Africa with us.
A huge thank you to Daniel, Clement, Hauth and everyone at Dana Safaris. From the initial planning right through to our final day, everything was incredibly well organised and we felt completely in safe hands.
If you are considering a safari, we would wholeheartedly recommend Dana Safaris. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we will never forget it. ❤️🦁🐘🐆

Amazing experience. Highly recommend it.
We were able to spot, the elephants, rhinos, antelope, hippo, lion, giraffe and zebra.
Moloko was our tour guide and she was exceptional in taking us right on time to sight the animals and did explain about the animals and the habitat. Very happy with this experience! Will surely come back for another time.
