Meru Slopes Tours and our guide Douglas made our safari an unforgettable and perfectly organized adv
5/5

We found Meru Slopes Tours on the website https://www.safaribookings.com, discussed various itinerary options with them, shared our preferences, and they adjusted the program accordingly. As a result, our originally planned three-day safari turned into a seven-day adventure - and it was the best decision we could have made. Over five full days spent in the wild, each day was unique.

We visited three national parks, saw dozens of animal species in their natural habitat, enjoyed three amazing nights in tented lodges, had five delicious outdoor lunches, and were guided by one of the most skilled and incredible guides - Douglas.

Douglas is a very pleasant guide who took great care of us throughout the entire trip. He arranged our meals and made sure the vehicle was clean every morning. We made frequent stops to take photos or videos, or just to observe the wildlife. He shared fascinating stories about the animals, African life, and answered all of our questions. Thanks to him - and a bit of luck - we saw the entire Big Five.

If you're planning a safari, you can relax - with Meru Slopes Tours, your adventure will be top-notch❤️

An incredible immersion into the world of Africa
5/5

I was truly impressed by the level of organization during our safari - it definitely exceeded expectations. From the moment we were picked up at Arusha airport, everything was perfectly taken care of: we were quickly and comfortably checked into our hotel, and the next day we met our guide, Douglas.

That was real luck! Douglas turned out to be an outstanding guide - every day he shared the plans, organized our meals, found the best spots for wildlife viewing, and led mini-excursions about life in Africa. We learned how coffee is made, how local people live, what they eat, where they work, and so much more.

It wasn’t just a safari - it was a true immersion into the world of Africa. A priceless experience and wonderful, kind-hearted people.

Huge thanks to Meru Slopes, and especially to Douglas!

Most Amazing experience
5/5

With my Brother and his family from the US, we had the most amazing 8-day Cultural Tanzania Safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Eyasi with the Hadzabe Tribe. As a Tanzanian, I was amazed to have this experience and knowing that it is in my Country. We loved every moment and saw so many animals - the great migration, lion hunts, sleeping leopards, vultures eating, newborn zebra. It was SO exciting. We spent time in the tented camps, and it was magic. What made it extra special was our driver, "Yona," who had a great animal expertise, interesting stories, and was just nice to be around. We highly recommend that you ask for MJ Safaris & Adventure for your trip to Tanzania.

Kili Hike Adventures Made Our Dream Safari Come True
5/5

We had an exceptional experience with Kili Hike Adventures, and we truly cannot recommend them enough. From the initial planning stages to the very last day of our safari, everything was handled with care, professionalism, and genuine thoughtfulness.

We began working with Kelvin several months in advance, and he was consistently responsive and professional throughout the entire process. He always replied to our messages within 12 to 24 hours and worked closely with us to understand our budget and preferences, ultimately curating the perfect safari itinerary. Just a few days before our trip, he reached out to confirm all the details and even informed us that some of our accommodations had been upgraded—an unexpected and appreciated surprise that set a wonderful tone for our journey.

Our safari guide, Issa, was truly outstanding. Having a knowledgeable and personable guide makes all the difference on a multi-day safari, where you’re spending long days together in close proximity—and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Issa was professional, warm, engaging, and incredibly experienced, with over 15 years of guiding under his belt. His deep knowledge of the wildlife and environment, combined with his clear passion for what he does, made every moment of the safari exciting and memorable.

Issa drove carefully and safely, worked closely with other guides to track animals during our game drives, and ensured we had the best possible sightings. Throughout the game drives, he went out of his way to make sure each of us got to see our favorites—whether it was lions, elephants, leopards, or giraffes. You could genuinely feel his excitement whenever he got a lead from another guide; he’d light up, and we’d all take off to try and catch the moment. It was also great to see Issa get excited about seeing his favorite animal - the cheetahs! He wasn’t just doing a job—he was truly invested in making the experience special for us. His energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and he seemed just as thrilled as we were every time we spotted something amazing.

We also want to highlight how supportive and accommodating both Kelvin and Issa were when our travel plans unexpectedly changed. A canceled flight from Qatar caused us to miss a day of our safari and arrive in Tanzania without our luggage. Despite these setbacks, they went above and beyond to make us feel supported and comfortable. They took us to local shops to buy essentials and personally coordinated with the airline to ensure our bags—despite being four hours away—arrived at our lodge by 6 a.m. the next morning, just in time for our next game drive.

From start to finish, Kili Hike Adventures delivered a seamless, well-organized, and incredibly special experience. Both Kelvin and Issa were thoughtful, dependable, and a true pleasure to work with. If you’re considering a safari in Tanzania, we highly recommend this company—and especially Issa as your guide. You will not regret it.

This was truly the trip of a lifetime.

Shenga Tours are reliable, dedicated to excellent service, goes above and beyond for their clients
5/5

I have enquired about a joining camping safari a few weeks before the trip. Kelvin replied immediately with all the necessary information and quotations. I could not make up my mind. Kelvin kept in touch asking if he could be of any further assistance.

The morning before the trip @ 4am I decided to go ahead with the booking. To my surprise Kelvin responded immediately. He assisted with accommodation referrals as well as last minute questions.

When I arrived to Arusha later that afternoon, there was transport waiting at the airport. Kelvin also took me shopping for a backpack and took me to rent binoculars.

Throughout the safari he checked in to find out if I was doing ok. I was a sole female traveller and always felt safe.

The safari itself was an unforgettable expierence. We saw all of the big 5 multiple times except for the rhino. The food was deliciously home cooked and I had the best soups I've ever tasted.

Kelvin as well as the service providers he make use of and hotel he referred, made my stay and expierence amazing and smooth sailing.

Thank you Kelvin. I appreciate your dedication to making sure you cater to all your clients needs.

Very responsive
5/5

I recently returned from an 8-day safari tour in Kenya, and it was truly one of the best experiences of my life. The tour was incredibly well-organized, and everything that was promised was delivered exactly as described. Any minor issues that arose were handled promptly and professionally, which made the journey smooth and stress-free.

A major highlight was getting to see all of the Big Five—plus numerous big cats and an amazing variety of birds. Every game drive brought something new and thrilling. Nature at its best!

Special thanks to Bryan, our tour guide, who was always punctual and helpful throughout the trip. He ensured we were well taken care of and made sure we didn’t miss any wildlife sightings.

A few points for improvement:
• The guide could be a bit more interactive and share interesting facts or stories without needing to be asked.
• The food could have been more varied, as we ended up having similar meals most days.

That said, the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely recommend this safari to anyone looking for a memorable adventure in Kenya!

Amazing safari experiences in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara!
5/5

We had a 3-day safari trip with African Masterclass Tours and Safari Limited, and it was truly an amazing experience. On the first day, I went to Tarangire National Park and saw many elephants, giraffes, and different types of deer. Our guide was very knowledgeable and always took us to a good animal viewing spot. Ngorongoro Crater was the most memorable - we were very excited to see the endangered black rhino. On the last day at Lake Manyara National Park, I saw tree climbing lions and a lot of colorful birds. The stay at Marrera Valley Lodge was very comfortable, and the food was also excellent. Their service is really commendable, very nicely done airport pickup and drop off. I had a great time throughout the trip with no problems.
