Magical Gorilla's and Chimps adventure
5/5

An amazing trip with an itinerary developed together with Mark. Great communication and easy to make payment 50% before arrival (direct transfer) and 50% on the morning we met (cash). We met Moses our driver and he was a delight of information about villages, animals and info about Uganda. Importantly, we always felt safe and secure with our local guide and drive Moses.

Our trip was for 3 nights / 4 days (I wish we had more time!). First day driving around 8 hours to Elephant Hab Lodge near Queen Elizabeth National Park. Buffet lunch at a local restaurant along the way (delicious local food) and also a stop at the Equator. Quick visit to QE NP at sunset - elephants, buffalo, impala, hippos!

Day 2 we stopped for Chimp trekking with the amazing Franklin (guide). Chimps were high in the trees but our binoculars ensured we had a great view. Also saw various monkeys and birds. About 4 hours of gentle walking. We hired a porter to support the local economy. Another drive thru villages and spectacular countryside to Gorilla Haven Lodge for 2 nights. Another delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 3 and we are so hopefully at finding Gorilla's today. Up early for the drive through the mist to the meeting point. We are met by a welcome with singing and dancing. We are allocated our group and hire porters (again to support the local economy and help us!). The trackers have headed out earlier to find our family of gorilla's and we jump in our car with Moses to get closer to where they are. Then after a 45 minute hike up hill through literally impenetrable forest we see the silverback gorilla sitting and munching leaves in a tree. Truly spectacular. The next hour was spent in wonder as the gorilla family with mums and babies went about their day and allowed us to watch on.

The final morning we are up early again and Moses drives us to the airstrip in Kisoro for our flight back to Entebbe. We couldn't thank Moses enough for the most magical time in Uganda. Brief but will stay in our hearts and minds forever. Thanks also to Mark for working with me to organise the trip.

Meleta was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful
5/5

This safari was exciting, safe, and enjoyable. Our safari guide Meleta was knowledgeable and very friendly. He made the experience unforgettable. There were some miscommunications along the way which were managed effectively. With an open mind and curious mentality, you will have a great experience, no matter which species you meet along the way.

I loved Cape Town as it was a wonderful city with delicious food. I personally didn’t experience feeling unsafe, but definitely be aware of the areas you’re in. Kruger was great as well for a short safari as it gives you great chances to see the big 5. I would highly recommend traveling to Cape Town to anybody, especially foodies

Knowledgeable, professional and adventurous
5/5

All aspects of our tour were met with a rep to help us reach our next destination. The help was getting to our next stay, entering/leaving different countries and most of all our tours and safaris.

Amazing experience in Kruger!
5/5

We had the most incredible 5-day safari in Kruger National Park, and I can't recommend Wild Planet Safari enough! From the start, Thale was fantastic, helping us with booking and answering all our questions. Our guide, Chris, was wonderful. His knowledge of the park and its wildlife was unmatched, and his experience ensured we saw all of the Big 5! Chris made sure we were at the gates early every morning to maximize our chances of spotting animals like lions, who are more active at dawn. Our chef, Goodwill, was also great. The meals were delicious. It was fun to eat breakfast at one of the picnic sites in the bush each morning. In addition to the daily game drives, we also went on a night drive and a morning bush walk, both of which were very fun and added to the whole experience. The entire Wild Planet team made sure the trip was tailored to our preferences. Highly recommend going on safari with Wild Planet!

5/5

We booked the Machame 6 days Kilimanjaro tour with Meseno Adventures in January 2023. The communication was perfect from the beginning until the end. Sam answered every question in a professional manner and in an amazing speed. You really get the sense and the feeling that he is loving what he is doing! The whole trip was organized perfectly and we felt super save and warmly welcomed. With the very good organizational skills and the dream team we achieved to be on top of the Uhuru Peak. We can 150% recommend the work of Mesono Adventures and if you want to achieve great things and want to have unforgettable memories go with Mesono Adventures - this is guaranteed! We will book again with them being in Tanzania next time. Thanks for everything :)!
