Safe and well taken care of. Very Basic but wonderful

Sweet, calm and caring. It’s fisically very challenging and nothing fancy. You have to be determined and fit but wow what a nice experience

Masai Mara Safari
4/5

This is our first African safari experience. Overall, it was great.

Communications-wise, Robert is actively replying to messages. He also assisted us when we were looking for souvenir items while in Nairobi.

Our driver for the safari, Khalifa, is very great. He is on time and during the game drive, he would always find a way and search for animals so that we get to have the best experience and find good angle for picture-taking. He is also very helpful since during our safari, there was an accident and he helped those in need. So far, we were able to see 4 out of the big 5 animals (we weren't able to see the rhino). We recommend to request for Khalifa if you would do the safari.

The only thing that maybe needs some improvement would be the assignment and coordination with Enchoro Camp. Because we were surprised that we would be sharing a room with other people we have just met. We were just 2 and the only available room is for 4 persons. Luckily, the ones we are to share with transferred to a different camp so it didn't become awkward during our stay. So far, the staff and the locals in the camp are very kind and helpful.

Very helpful, would recommend to friends
4/5

Communications were always prompt, service and the offers of help were very good and welcome as it was our first time in Africa. Certainly lived up to expectations. Arranged exactly the holiday that I wanted.

Good quality/price

The communication with Isaac, the manager of Best Memory Safaris, was easy from the beginning. The vehicle was a 4x4 Toyota van (a little dated but nice anyway), with lift roof to see better the animals. Inside de van was a little camping fridge with fresh water bottles, and two sockets to charge your electronic stuff.

We would recommend this tour operator to all our friends and family.
4/5

It was easy to communicate because of E-Mail and WhatsApp contact. We had an informative chat with Noah to find the right tour for us. Our driver Andrew in Kenya was a great guy, he gave us a lot of Informations about every animal we have seen and he knew the hot spots to find the big five. We felt safety all the time and had a lot of fun together.
In Tansania our driver was Ibraham-a funny and nice guy, too.
The service was great during all the days, we didn‘t miss anything!

Good to see the different species compared to the south of the country, but would not make this a priority.

I used to go regularly when the flamingos were there. To see over one million flamingoes on the lake was an incredible site. Unfortunately the flamingos are no longer there and probably better to go to Naivasha and take a boat out to Crescent Island.

All the photos, videos, about a safari, will never truly describe the experience of it.

Its an excellent place to see and get close to rhinos, both black and white. Stayed at Serena Sweetwaters, a luxury tented camp. Would recommend, everything you need. A beautiful view from the camp facing a lake and out to Mount Kenya. Not though the best place to see Mount Kenya. Plenty of wildlife, very easy to navigate. There's a chimpanzee sanctuary, the only one in Kenya, but was a disappointment. Only saw 2 chimps. If this is your first trip to Kenya, this would not be top of my list. I would first recommend Maasai Mara and then Amboseli. If in the area of Nanyuki, and you have been to the big parks I would suggest a night lodge, but if you have not been to the big parks, then Ol Pejeta will give you the safari experience.

Guides/Ground Transportation excellent. Food/Accommodations adequate/ lunch's terrible.
4/5

Communication between us and the guides the day his credit cards didn't work to allow us to get into the Serengeti would have been nice. It took over 2 hours... and very little to no communication as to why until the end?
Guides had awesome knowledge about animals, birds, and culture. They communicated with their peers on where animal sightings might be so we could see as many animals as possible. They were both also very accommodating to the needs of the group and made adjustments if needed. They always maintained professionalism and the safety of the group was always at the top of their list.
The guides made sure the vehicles were always clean for the next day's trip.
Food at the resorts was not bad, but the lunch boxes were not appetizing!
Hotels... Moivaro Coffee Plantation Lodge - Really not good at all. Afraid to eat the food and very confusing at check out time for the food/bar bill. We were overcharged... double for the drinks and food we had already paid for the night before. 2nd lodge - Tarangire Sopa Lodge - Very nice lodge, the view was great and the pool was chlorinated which was nice. 3rd lodge - Escarpment Luxury Lodge - by far the cleanest and nicest lodge of the entire trip with another awesome view! The food at this lodge was the best of the entire trip as well. 4th lodge - Serengeti Sopa Lodge - Location and view were awesome... the food adequate. 5th lodge - Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge - Location and view were awesome, food... this is where one of us got sick from the food. 5th lodge - KIA Lodge - Food was not good here. Accommodations were okay, but having the A/C that night was the best!
In all of the lodges, the staff was very nice and accommodating. The guides were awesome and overall the safari was outstanding!
