If you’re hesitating to book a safari tour, don’t!
We’ve had an incredible experience with Kihindo from start to finish. Within the hour of submitting a request for a quote, Winnie sent us an itinerary. She was helpful and quick to respond, and made booking onto the tour a breeze.
We were picked up in Dar es Salaam by Adam, who is very conscientious and friendly. The journey to Mikumi and back was very smooth thanks to him.
We’re so glad to have had Saloniki as our safari guide. He knows so much and is happy to share facts and answer questions. He’s got eagle eyes and would spot animals at incredible distances. We would’ve been happy seeing an animal or two, but ended up seeing elephants, baboons, monkeys, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions feasting, a lioness and two cubs, pumbas, impalas, and much more. Saloniki was so quick to get us in and always tried his utmost best to provide us with an exceptional experience. He took photos for us and always asked if we were happy with where to go next, though we were happy to trust his expertise. Overall, Saloniki really made this experience unforgettable with his patience and kindness, and we hope to be back for more safaris to explore all that Tanzania has to offer. Great group safari at an affordable price
A few friends and I booked this safari and had a great time together. Everything was well planned until the return from Nairobi. Our guide Joseph took us to the right places, showed us the animals, and shared many interesting facts about the animals. The camp was comfortable, the food was good, and the campfire was organized in the evening. Seeing the Mara River and the wildebeest crossing was the highlight of the trip. I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Kenya.

At first, I was a bit hesitant to book directly with a local tour operator, but as soon as we arrived in Kenya, the warm welcome from Abongo (the boss) and Kevin made all my concerns disappear.
Abongo is always available: he replies within minutes, is attentive to every guest’s needs, and finds solutions for any request. Prices are very competitive thanks to the absence of intermediaries.
Our driver Edward was impeccable: cautious driving, reliable, respectful towards wildlife, kind, and quick to solve any unexpected issue. A true professional.
The lodges ranged from decent to excellent. In Kenya, you have to adapt to the local reality – if you’re looking exclusively for 5-star luxury hotels, this might not be the right kind of trip.
The tour was extraordinary: Tsavo, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and the Masai Mara… breathtaking landscapes, unforgettable wildlife sightings, and flawless organization from start to finish.

Excellent service.
The initial email communications were sometimes a bit confusing, but the agency provided WhatsApp, which made communication much easier. In the end, this was just a minor detail, as everything from that point on was excellent. Great guide, no problems throughout the trip, high-quality vehicle provided, etc. I have nothing but praise for the company and would recommend it to anyone planning to travel to Africa.
