Steve makes the difference
My safari was made by my guide and driver, Steve: knowledgeable, patient and great company. He brought the wildlife to life and also shared real insights into Tanzanian culture, daily life. Long, dusty drives became enjoyable thanks to his storytelling.
That said, my high rating is mainly for him. Mixing very different accommodation categories in the same vehicle created space issues and meant extra waiting time in camps instead of enjoying the parks. Fortunately, the group was very friendly, which made the safari very pleasant.
I stayed in great lodges like Tanzania Bush Camp in the Serengeti, but given the big price gap other agencies may suit non-tent bookings better.
So for tented camps, this setup is perfect and overall, I’d still recommend the tour with Steve.

An unforgettable Safari Experience 🦒🦓🐘
We had an amazing three-day safari with Marcos Wanderlust Safaris in Taita Hills and Tsavo East National Park. Our driver, Sebastian, was fantastic - friendly, punctual, and very knowledgeable. He taught us so much about the animals and the parks.
We were lucky to see lions, elephants, zebras, a huge herd of buffalo, and many more animals. One of our absolute highlights was seeing a cheetah mother with her two cubs - truly unforgettable!
We had three wonderful days filled with amazing game drives and unforgettable memories. We are very happy we chose Marcos Wanderlust Safaris and would highly recommend them!

Perfect expérience
I spent 15 days in Uganda with the agency Gorilla Bookings. Justus put together a fantastic itinerary for us, including two gorilla treks. It offered great value for money. Our French-speaking guide, Anette, had extensive field experience and shared fascinating insights into Uganda's history. Our driver, Allan, had an uncanny ability to spot wildlife in the savanna! They made a fantastic team—highly professional, friendly, and always smiling.
The lodges were comfortable, and the food was excellent. Many thanks to the entire team for such a well-organized trip!

With Orugano Safaris, I discovered truly unforgettable people, wildlife, and landscapes.
Meeting the Batwa—displaced hunter-gatherers who have lost their ancestral lands yet preserve their traditions and knowledge of forest plants—was an incredible experience; they are an ancient and courageous people. Learning about their culture and history was deeply moving.
Encountering mountain gorillas is breathtaking; you can see numerous families, and watching mothers and their young move about under the watchful, benevolent gaze of the silverbacks is a true privilege. They are a national treasure, and their preservation is a precious legacy for the Ugandan people. Orugano Safaris took me to places and brought me close to animals I could scarcely have imagined. Nature lovers like me will be absolutely delighted.
I hiked along beautiful trails and met welcoming villagers—a sheer joy; I spent time with them and saw their livestock, daily activities, and homes up close. It was fabulous. Along the way, I discovered magnificent lizards and butterflies; one cannot help but be awestruck by the fragile beauty of the surroundings.
The Bwindi Forest is simply magnificent; the scents, the light, the sounds of wildlife, and the sheer scale of the landscape inspire a sense of humility.
And then there are the stunning volcanoes, such as Mgahinga; trekking through a bamboo forest to reach its magnificent summit is an incredible experience—not to mention the wonderful golden monkeys playing and swinging from vine to vine right before our amazed eyes.
The activities on offer immerse us in a natural world teeming with wildlife, beauty, and authenticity. It is like a waking dream.

I honestly don’t know why there are so few reviews on this site, because across Google and TripAdvisor, Vomba Tours and Safaris is clearly a top-tier company—and they completely proved it to us!
A huge thank you to Tshidi, who handled our reservations. Her kindness, patience, and support while I was planning our itinerary were absolutely faultless.
Every single transfer was seamless. Our driver, Philomen, was a fantastic guy who made our 4-hour transfer comfortable and easy. The same goes for our airport pickup—Vomba arrived exactly when they said they would and communicated well ahead of expectations.
They made our birthday trip so special, and we will definitely be using them again. Highly recommended!
