Absolutely worth it !
I have to admit, I'm not usually one to write reviews, but this safari experience was so incredible that I had to make an exception. Everything was perfectly organized, and it truly felt like every detail was taken care of from start to finish.
We originally came here hoping to see lions and the majestic Kilimanjaro. Even though we didn't encounter either, I still wanted to share this review because the experience was far more valuable than just spotting those animals or seeing the mountain. The three gentlemen—Don, Calvin, and Kinisa—made sure that nature, friendship, and a healthy dose of humor made this experience something worth more than a thousand lions and twice the size of Kilimanjaro.
Don did an absolutely fantastic job. His knowledge and passion for nature were infectious, and he ensured we reached the best spots to observe wildlife. Calvin took breathtaking photos of my wife and me, along with the animals and stunning surroundings. These memories will last a lifetime.
Kinisa, the driver, deserves a special mention for his exceptional patience. He took the time to explain everything calmly, ensured we were always in the right place at the right time, and drove smoothly so we could fully appreciate the beauty of everything around us.
The gentlemen went to great lengths to ensure we encountered animals, but it’s important to remember that nature is always unpredictable. Still, the bond we formed with these amazing guides, the laughs we shared, and the moments we experienced together were far more rewarding than we could have imagined.
If anyone is considering a safari, trust me, someone who’s very critical and notices the smallest details, this is an experience you shouldn’t miss! Ask for Don, you won’t regret it and ask Don if Calvin can take the pictures and Kanisa can be the driver. Well done guys ! Absolute well deserved 5 stars.

Our private safari with Gowitos was truly outstanding! From the moment we arrived in Arusha to the final day of our journey, Suzana and her team demonstrated an incredible level of professionalism, organization, and flexibility, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable experience.
We embarked on a five-day, four-night safari, starting with a warm welcome in Arusha, where Gowitos arranged our airport pickup, handled our luggage, and ensured a smooth hotel transfer. Our adventure took us to Tarangire National Park, where we saw an incredible number of elephants, followed by Ngorongoro Crater and Ndutu near the Serengeti Plains. On our last day, we visited Lake Manyara before Suzana even helped us adjust our flight to ensure a more efficient departure.
One of the most impressive aspects of Gowitos was their ability to accommodate last-minute changes with ease. Our itinerary required adjustments, and Suzana and her team handled them flawlessly, without any hassle or delays. This level of flexibility is rare, and it truly set Gowitos apart.
A major highlight of our trip was our expert tour guide and driver, Lewis (also known as Meru). His off-road driving skills and vehicle navigation were truly impressive—he was confident, composed, and handled every terrain with ease. Beyond his driving expertise, his deep knowledge of wildlife and the landscape was invaluable. He always seemed to know exactly where to find the animals, and it was clear that his long-standing relationships with other tour guides and drivers gave us a unique advantage in locating the best wildlife sightings. Thanks to Lewis, we saw everything we had hoped for and more!
The private Toyota Land Cruiser provided by Gowitos was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with a pop-up roof, allowing us to stand and enjoy unobstructed wildlife viewing.
What made this trip truly special was Suzana’s personal involvement—she didn’t just arrange everything but personally accompanied us to facilitate logistics and ensure everything ran smoothly. Her attention to detail, commitment to customer satisfaction, and ability to handle last-minute requests effortlessly made all the difference.

Safari - obły with Jocky and Geeman
Event if I don’t speak English well Geeman spoke so easy English that I understood almost everything. I saw all Big Five animals and thanks to Geeman Leopard so close to out jeep. Acommodations which we’ve choosen were OK, food very good. We spent wonderful 7 days with out guide/driver Geeman and other accompanying people.

a super efficient and knowledgeable company
communication was excellant as well as the service. the company worked out the full trip according to our budget and we mostly managed to visit the areas we wanted to. we feel we got the value for the money we paid.
The tour was superbly co-ordinated. the accommodation, the transportation etc went seamlessly.
The company offered various options for sites, accommodation etc.

Michael is knowledgeable, safe and listens to the clients
I had a wonderful time on safari with Michael. The order of Tarangire, Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro was perfect. His knowledge of the terrain is an advantage to find elusive wildlife like cheetahs and leopards. Highly recommend Meijo and having Michael as a guide.

Excellent value for money
From our very first contact, they were extremely diligent, maintaining constant communication and responding to all our inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. The service was excellent. We did a four-day camping safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, which matched their description perfectly and provided ample time to see many animals, including the Big Five.
On just one day, we started the safari a little late as we had to wait for two more people joining us. However, it wasn’t a big issue, as we still managed to see everything we wanted.

Michael is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional tour guide!
There was so much communication and transparency so we knew exactly what to expect. The value is great as we had access to 3 parks, fantastic lodging and food and snacks.
The tour was so amazing and we can thank Michael for that. We were able to find every animal we set out to see and he was able to ensure we had the best angle to take photographs. We are so thankful to Michael for making our first safari so special and epic!

Unbelievable!
Our trip to Tanzania this past December holiday was a once-in-lifetime type experience. Jessica at Dancing Zebra planned the most amazing two weeks for us. Every detail was thought of. We were taken care of every step of the way. We traveled as a family of 4, our daughters are 19 and 17, and this was such a perfect age for the four of us to embark on our first African safari. We are so happy we chose Tanzania for our adventure. The lodges we stayed at were impeccable, the service was top notch and the 3 course meals and buffet breakfasts were outstanding. The real highlight besides all of the amazing animals we saw including all Big 5, and so many more, was our private guide Frank. Frank is absolutely the best guide ever. His knowledge about every animal, every plant, every location we hit along the way far surpassed anything we could have wished for. I literally cried the last day we had to leave Frank. The truck was fully stocked each day for us as well. I would highly recommend this 5 star safari trip to anyone who wants to explore Tanzania with the finest! It was truly a trip of a lifetime!
