I usually travel solo as a photography enthusiast, and choosing the right tour company is always important to me. After contacting Kingdom Ethiopia Tour, I received a quick response with a detailed itinerary and quotation. Before booking, I was concerned about the security situation in Tigray, so I asked them directly. They answered all of my questions honestly, assured me that the areas included in my itinerary were safe, and explained that they had recently completed similar tours with other travelers. I spent two unforgettable weeks exploring Ethiopia, and every part of the tour was exceptionally well organized. The team took care of every detail, making my journey smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. The guides and staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure I had the best possible experience. I always felt welcomed, respected, and well looked after.
My itinerary included Addis Ababa, Bahir Dar, Gondar, Lalibela, Abune Yemata Guh Church, the Danakil Depression, and the Omo Valley. Every destination was unique and breathtaking. As a photographer, I was amazed by the incredible landscapes, ancient history, vibrant cultures, and the warmth of the Ethiopian people. Before this trip, I had no idea Ethiopia offered such an incredible variety of world-class destinations. It truly exceeded all of my expectations.
The tour was excellent value for money. Everything was organized professionally, and the quality of service was outstanding. I have traveled to many places, but the hospitality and personal attention I received on this trip made it one of the most memorable travel experiences of my life.
Interestingly, I was originally planning to visit Tanzania and Kenya. My travel agent noticed that I had a transit flight through Ethiopia and suggested, "Why not visit Ethiopia as well?" After researching several tour companies, my agent recommended Kingdom Ethiopia Tour. I am so grateful for that recommendation because they created an unforgettable journey that I will always remember.

Unforgettable experience
From the very beginning, Sammy replied to my emails really quickly. It didn’t matter if it was a weekday or weekend, or even with the time difference. He always got back to me in a couple of hours. If it wasn’t for him, I honestly don’t think I would have had the motivation to make this trip happen.
When he picked us up at the airport, we immediately felt how genuine and caring he was. Throughout the trip, he regularly checked in on us to make sure everything was going well.
Our guide, Gabriel, was amazing. He was incredibly experienced and always quick to head to wildlife sightings as soon as he heard them over the radio. He also made sure we got the best spots for photos. What impressed us most was that he could drive and spot animals at the same time. He often found animals long before we even noticed them ourselves.
I’m so glad I chose Splendid Vacations. They made our Kenya safari an unforgettable experience, and I’ll definitely book with them again if I ever come back to Kenya. Highly recommend!

An Unforgettable 5-Day Safari with Axis Africa Safaris!
We had an incredible safari experience with Axis Africa Safaris from start to finish.
During the planning and booking stages, Ms. Maurine was outstanding. She was extremely professional, guiding us seamlessly through our schedule, itinerary options, lodge choices, and payment process. Upon our arrival in Kenya, she gave us a warm welcome and a thorough briefing before setting off on our 5-day tour.
Out on safari, our tour guide and driver, Mr. Khalifa Abdullah, was simply superb—quite frankly one of the best safari guides in Kenya! He knows the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Park like the back of his hand. Beyond his extraordinary eye for spotting wildlife, we were deeply impressed by his encyclopedic knowledge of animal species, their unique behaviors, and their natural habitats. He also enriched our journey with fascinating insights into the geology of the Rift Valley, the natural history of the parks, and the broader history of Kenya and East Africa.
Thanks to his expertise, we enjoyed multiple sightings of leopards, cheetahs, elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, vultures, hyenas, ostriches, hippos, and rhinos—along with witnessing a live kill as a pride of lions took down a wildebeest. With his deep understanding of the Mara and expert sense of timing, he placed us in the perfect spot to watch a live river crossing of wildebeests and zebras making their journey from Tanzania into Kenya.
It was a trip of a lifetime, and we cannot recommend Axis Africa Safaris enough!

Great experience
Good communication; quick response and clear information.
We had the best driver; James. Knew a lot about all the animals and the area. Took time to explain and answer questions and did everything to give us the best safari experience and show us as many different animals as possible. Lunch was also great, lovely people and good food.
Don’t hesitate; book this trip! It is worth the money.

We had a wonderful safari/beach holiday organised by Jamlan. We had a private tour for four of us. Teddy responded quickly to any queries we had and the transfers and accommodation they organised were great. Our guide, John was just fantastic…knew so much about the wildlife and culture. Very good
Johnny is a truly professional, 100-point tour guide! He has an amazing talent for spotting wildlife. We even got to watch lions eating breakfast, and the lion cubs were right outside our window. Plus, he speaks fluent Chinese!

Before our trip, we had a video call with Enrico, the organizer, who patiently answered all our questions and explained every detail of the itinerary and logistics. Our 4-day safari was simply incredible: two unforgettable days in the Serengeti, one day exploring the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, and one day in the beautiful Tarangire National Park.
