Best Experience ever with Akondo Adventures!
One day before the safari started, I asked Akondo Adventures about the tour, at around 2 p.m.
From Zanzibar we had a 2-day safari in Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the airport. Then we flew to Arusha. Our guide and Boris were already waiting for us. On the first day we went to Tarangire National Park. There we saw most of the animals. Elephants, giraffes, baboons, ostriches, wildebeests, antelopes, zebras, warthogs and even a leopard - sleeping on a baobab tree!
At the end of the day we spent the night in a beautiful, luxurious lodge near Lake Manyara.
On the second day, the Ngorongoro Crater was on the agenda. The way there was very foggy. First we visited a Masai village. It was quite cold there early in the morning. Then we went into the crater. . We saw the large lake with its alkaline water. In addition to the day before, we finally saw the lions, several times. There were also flamingos, hippos and buffalo.
At the end we went back to the airport, where we saw Boris again.
Boris managed the whole trip very well and was responsive to our wishes and needs. And all this despite the fact that we had booked the tour one day before! We can recommend everyone to book a tour with Akondo Adventures.

Best experience ever!!
We booked a 4 day safari and it was amazing!!! It is important to highlight the availability and friendliness of the owner, Mr. David, an excellent professional and concerned about his customers. Like all the collaborators, always available and with a huge smile. A special thank you to our chef Mathew who cooks the best soup ever and another thank you to our exceptional guide Praise, he is the best in Tanzania! We recommend this company, they are the best ones!!

Extremely responsive, with great communication, and a top notch experience overall.
Stephen provided excellent communication in the days/weeks leading up to my safari. He offered quality hotel recommendations and a flexible private excursion at an excellent price. The evening before our safari he met me at the hotel to introduce me to our driver and show us the truck we would spend the next day in. Our driver and tour guide for the safari was Peter and he was very knowledgeable and put forth the effort and flexibility to make the trip as fun as possible the entire day. After the safari he even took us on a side trip to visit a family of Masai to learn about their culture. Overall I highly recommend Stephen, Peter, and Adventure Makers Tanzania.

This is a very reliable tour operator. Faraja listened carefully to my needs in the early stages and helped me create an itinerary that perfectly matched those needs. Best service, memorable experiences
We are return travellers to ABE and our tour guide David, this time travelling to Amboseli NP for a 3 day, 2 night adventure. The overall experience will be etched in our memories as one of the best of all time. David is most knowledgeable on matters of wildlife, local culture as well as an expert driver. This came into play numerous times, for example when we were confronted by an angry bull elephant - David reversed us out of trouble very quickly. The same combination of driving skill and knowledge of animal behaviour allowed us to get classic views of elephant processions, big cat action, giraffes, zebra and many other sightings. He filmed a family of cheetahs so well after first getting the prime position amongst all the other vehicles. Seek out David for your next Kenyan safari adventure!

Our trip of a lifetime!
I had the pleasure of working with Stephen for over 2 years, planning this once in a lifetime trip. Stephen was patient with all my questions and itinerary changes. We had a private tour. The accommodations he picked were indeed luxury out in the bush. The people of Tanzania are welcoming and gracious.
And there are not enough adjectives to complement Joachim as a driver/guide. A masterful driver on the worst of roads, made sure we were comfortable, picked the best spots to get our pictures and was very easy to get along with and a great sense of humor. With all the dusty roads and dirt tracked into the vehicle, each morning we got into a clean truck for the day’s drive. Joachim has a wealth of knowledge of the animals, birds of his country.

Safe and secure trip
Vechile was marked with the company logo and very presentable. The driver waited outside the vechile and helped us to load all our luggage. He navigated the road with caution and care. We felt safe and secure. The vechile itself was also very good maintained and the seat were comfortable giving us a pleasent ride.
