Very professional and organzied. We chose to stay in more luxury hotels and I’m so glad we did. Incredible views of the Serengeti from our hotel room.

Super professional organisation and wonderful safari experience for the whole family
Although we had travelled in East Africa before, this was our first time in Kenya and our first safari as a family. Choosing between different providers wasn’t easy, so we contacted several and waited to see who would respond. Horizon Hunt Safaris got back to us quickly with a clear, well-thought-out offer, and we decided to go with them, aand wow, we’re so glad we did.
First of all, our contact person and overall organiser, Gorgeous, is absolutely outstanding at what she does. She is incredibly responsive, caring, and proactive. If something is fully booked, she immediately finds excellent alternatives while always informing you what one or an other options means and how it compares; she gives straightforward, honest advice; helps you think ahead about what to do and how to prepare for the safari; and somehow manages to be warm, highly organised, and totally relaxed and super reliable all at once. She was always on top of everything.
And then the safari itself: our driver-guide was top-notch, going the extra mile to make sure we saw as many animals as possible while seamlessly managing all the logistics. We visited Tsavo East and Taita Hills, and this time Taita Hills truly delivered—from a rich variety of birds to lions, many many elephants, some buffaloes, also hyenas guarding a waterhole while giraffes waited at a distance, hoping for a chance to drink; zebras at roads here and there, and so on :)))
All in all, we are incredibly grateful to Gorgeous for her amazing organisation and support. If I ever need to travel anywhere else in Kenya, I would absolutely reach out to her first for advice and help. Thank you for an unforgettable experience and your warmth!

Amazing Big Five 😍
We absolutely loved our safari experience! We didn’t just see the Big Five — we also spotted the Small Five and even the “Bad Five,” which made it even more exciting and unique.
Our guide, Jared, was fantastic — he seemed to find animals as if he could literally smell them. And Pius, the chef, was excellent: delicious meals and great care every day.
We captured so many unforgettable moments: we watched a young cheetah eating its prey while its mother stayed nearby, calmly observing — and we were only about 10 meters away from this scene. We also saw a leopard resting right by the road and then walking away into the sunset, plus many other incredible sightings.
We highly recommend this safari to everyone. There’s nothing like waking up inside a national park, enjoying the wild nature, and watching animals playing and moving around — all visible with the naked eye. These emotions are truly worth experiencing at least once in your life.

Professional, ambitious and energetic
Choosing a tour operator is a risky business. You pay thousands of dollars in advance and you will experience the service only afterwards.
I can guarantee on my behalf, that doing business with Extraordinary Ethiopia tours and Mareg is absolutely a safe business from the first step of communication until the very end of the journey.
After having followed an itinerary of 15 nights and 16 days in Ethiopia I am more than grateful to Maereg and his team, that I had a truly great, a sort of a once-in-a-lifetime tour. Everything worked perfectly. There wasn't any issue, that I felt sorry of.
To be honest: I fell in love with Ethiopia.
I had s solo safari to Bale mountains, Omo Valley tribes, Gondar and Lalibela. All the arrangements were better than expected: In Addis Abeba I was welcomed by the efficient "liaison officer" Habtu. In my safari journey driver BK was just brilliant, Toyota Landcruiser wonderful, accommodation exceeding all the expectations, meals great and Maereg kept on following all my moves daily.
I felt that I was in safe hands all the time.
Ethiopia is an amazing country. Ethiopians are incredibly kind and nice. I wish I could have stayed longer. But decided already to return.
I can warmly recommend Maereg and his mates to any type of traveller. His team is professional, energetic and ambitious and do not leave even the slightest detail unchecked. They do want to introduce and show their country to you, and they do it with love!❤️

Absolutely exceeded our expectations, couldn't recommend more
I went with my dad on the 8 day Lemosho Route Kilimanjaro climb with Kiliclimb, and Moses and his team put together an absolutely incredible trip! Everything was flawless from start to finish, from the organization and service to the guides, crew, and overall experience.
Our guides (Baraka and Godson) were the best and genuinely so kind and caring, checking in constantly and even doing daily wellness checks. They provided daily briefings and always clearly communicated what was ahead. What stood out to me even more was hearing the guides talk about how great Moses is and how much they enjoy working for him. That says a lot about the company and, in my opinion, really matters when choosing an outfitter!
The food was spectacular the entire trip and clearly planned with altitude in mind. We had the best soup every day, plus amazing fish, chicken, beef, and yes, even pizza! The whole team was remarkable and so tuned into our needs, including setting up a private bathroom tent, which was a huge comfort.
Moses went above and beyond personally as well. Before the trip, he reviewed my gear and flagged that I did not have warm enough layers for summit day, then loaned me a jacket and pants so I was properly prepared. He also arranged transportation to and from the airport, making it truly feel like a full package experience.
I could not have asked for a better Kilimanjaro climb, and I highly, highly recommend Kiliclimb to anyone considering the mountain!

Great smooth experience
I loved my trips thanks to my Guide Brighton and the tour operators who were checking in with me all the time during the trip. I honestly cannot recommend them enough it’s been a real pleasure and the entire team is super welcoming positive and easy going.
