Exotic
the safari was very well organized with a great guide, very nice and funny, with a great cook who made us lots of good things including pancakes, lasagna, vegetables, good meals...the organization was perfect and excellent value for money, the only downside is that they told me to take only a sweater for the cold nights but it was 8° so you have to bring good fleeces plus a hat and gloves because their duvets are very thin..

Beautiful trip in Kenya and Tanzania with African Sunset Safaris
The rating would be 4.5 starts if I could select that. Aaron and the entire team were professional and reliable and we felt taken care of during the transfers from Kenya to Tanzania and back. We communicated the whole time via WhatsApp and the entire team was very responsive.
There were some hiccups with COVID testing and some coordination with the payment (issues with the $100 bills) and final transfer back to Kenya, but a lot of COVID planning is difficult to do with constantly changing regulations. Aaron did take care of us after all and helped us get all of our tests needed before returning to the US.
We had a great time on the safaris and saw more than we were expecting, including a serval. Both Aaron and Geoff were very good at communicating with other guides and taking us where all the action was. We all throughly enjoyed the accommodations we stayed at (especially the camp in Serengeti) and the wildlife we were so lucky to see. It was, overall, a truly memorable trip and we’re grateful to the African Sunset Safaris team for making it happen. Would recommend.

Experts in their field
Our experience was good, in spite of some difficulties in communication due to last minute unforseen facts, lapses of concentration and maybe a lack of clear objectives on our side.
The best of our trip were the safaris with our guide Raymond, an expert in finding animals no matter the hidden they could be. With him we got the sense of adventure, driving through the savannah and learning about wildlife.
You could say he is frugal, but he has a great sense of humour, he is supportive and sensible. We really recommend him.

6-day Safari: Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro
Pros:
- fast and easy communication with Best Days.
- experienced, knowledged, motivated and patient guide/driver (Jackson), who also took us on less frequented routes.
- accomodation (staff and food): octagon lodge and tukaone camp.
Cons:
- lunch box: the selection of food of the vegetarian option was not great.
Extra:
Remember wearing light colored (beige/caqui)and long clothes against tse-tse flies. Also a hat is recommended.
Be aware that you may be asked to pay in cash. If you prefer to pay by card, take into account that a 5% surcharge is applied.
All in all, we were happy with the trip. Therefore, we would recommend to book your safari with Best Days :-)

Good price and so much fun!
I was in a group tour, although I wasn't staying at the same hotels with the rest of the group, but everything went great, thanks to our driver Gibson and other organizers, we left there with many unforgettable memories!
The price also was more reasonable compared to other tours!

Good
This tour definitely value his money, I did the seven days trips.
Our guide (ALI) were amazing, at Maasai Sara we saw the the Elephants, Leopards, Lions , Buffalo, Hippo and Giraf and Co (Pumba, Gazelle ec ect).
The Amboseli Park is more dry & hot, and you can see the Kilimanjaro if you wake up early and also many Lions, buffalo, Giraff.
Ali (Guide) also bring us near the Tanzania borders which is nice (Maasai Sara and Amboseli).
The other safaris places were also good, Lac Nakurau and Lac Naivasha where you can Hippo, Flamingo and Rhino (white).
Food is ok if you are vegan, vegetarian or eat meat. Accommodation is okay too ( you have hot water if you ask) and electricity all time or from 17h00 to 22h00 in some camps.
Thank

Solid safari, knowledgable guides, good experience
I had a good 4-day safari with Jocky Tours that I booked last minute. Our knowledgeable guides Joshua and Alfred were friendly, reliable and very good at spotting and explaining the wildlife in beautiful Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru NPs. I was impressed by how much wildlife you can see within such a short time. Joshua motivated me to do the scheduled game drive on the morning of the third day, even though all other group members had opted to do something else. I was somewhat irritated, however, that I paid 700 USD whereas another group paid only 400 USD per person. I had much better accommodation during the first two nights and a better vehicle, but both still cannot explain the huge price difference. Also, I hope that the driver guides will switch off their engines in the future instead of idling them during breaks – climate change is a concern especially also for their business. I couldn’t find any evidence that this damages the spark plugs, even for safari vehicles.
