Highly recommend
The short version: Afrimine has definitely delivered an unforgettable experience with excellent communication, knowledge and flexibility during the planning and execution of our safari. They made us feel like VIPs and the use of experienced guides and additional local guides in the various regions provided us with amazing experiences.
The longer version: We wanted to do a 3 week visit to Tanzania that included game drives, cultural visits and physical activities, such as mountain biking and day hikes. Afrimine was one of the only travel companies that understood our wishes and iteratively proposed an itinerary that included the activities we wanted to do and sights we wanted to see. The communication with Anderson and Antje was excellent: they presented suggestions and proposed additional activities that fitted our interests and demonstrated clear knowledge of the area and what places to avoid or specifically visit in the month of March.
During the trip Anderson and his team managed to make us feel important to them. We were extremely well taken care of, both at Anderson’s lodge in Moshi, but also by the guides Anderson paired us with during the trip: James Mbise was the best safari guide we could have wished for, he loves animals and nature, his knowledge and willingness to share is exceptional, and he knows a lot about the region, the Maasai and other cultures. On top of that, James was just an awesome person to spend time with.
For the later, more active stage of the trip that involved less game drives, we had Mr. Happiness and Christian as guides/drivers. While they did not demonstrate the same level of knowledge on wildlife as James, they did everything they could to make the trip unforgettable for us. Also, during this part of the trip we had excellent local guides for many of the activities we participated in, including Eli for the Usambara mountains, and George for a 3 day mountain biking tour.
We also really appreciate the flexibility offered by all the staff. On one resting day we had booked in, we asked Anderson whether he could call us a tuk-tuk to get us down to Moshi in the afternoon. Anderson ended up organising a local guide for us that showed us around town and the region. During the trip we asked to get more local food, and Anderson’s team made some awesome local dishes for us, and Mr Happiness took us to some fantastic food places in Tanga.

Our safari experience was absolutely amazing! The best part was our guides. We had the brothers, Sadaam and Bo. They made us feel like family. Great teamwork. They were very accommodating and knowledgeable. They made sure we had everything we needed each day. 5 stars!

Our Kilimanjaro climb (Machame Route) was an incredible experience. From the first day to the summit, everything was organized professionally and smoothly for a very reasonable price by our tour coordinator William. The guides (Rashid and Nicholas) were very knowledgeable, friendly, and always focused on safety. They monitored our health daily and encouraged us through the toughest sections of the trek.
The porters and camp crew worked tirelessly and always greeted us with smiles. The food exceeded expectations, with fresh meals every day. The equipment and camps were well maintained, making the journey comfortable despite the challenging conditions.
Reaching Uhuru Peak at sunrise was a moment we will never forget. The support and motivation from the guides played a huge role in our success.
I highly recommend this Kilimanjaro team to anyone looking for a safe, well-organized, and memorable climb. Thank you to everyone who made this adventure possible.

Amazing safari experience!
We had an amazing 4-day safari tour and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Anton guided us on the first day, while Melita was our guide from day two to four. Both were incredibly friendly, passionate, and very knowledgeable about the animals and the surrounding nature. They shared lots of interesting information and made the experience even more special.
A major highlight was seeing all of the Big Five, which exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious throughout the trip, and spending the nights under the stars was absolutely beautiful and unforgettable.
Overall, this was a fantastic safari experience that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Definitely worth 5 stars!

My wife, kids, and I recently went on a Masai Mara safari with JungleRoam, and from the very beginning, the team was incredibly helpful. They assisted us in planning everything, including our accommodation for both the Masai Mara and Lake Naivasha portions of the trip.
Since we were traveling with young children, we didn't want to do a long 5–6 day safari. The JungleRoam team was very accommodating and helped us customize a 2-night, 3-day safari, which turned out to be the perfect length for our family.
A special mention goes to our driver and guide, Solomon, who picked us up in Nairobi and accompanied us throughout the safari. He was outstanding—kind, knowledgeable, supportive, and always made sure we were comfortable. His enthusiasm and dedication truly enhanced our experience.
The highlight of the trip was Solomon's determination to help us spot as much wildlife as possible, especially the Big Five. Thanks to his expertise, we were fortunate enough to capture some incredible photos of lions, cheetahs, and leopards. We even witnessed and photographed lions hunting a buffalo and an impala—an unforgettable experience!
Overall, I would highly recommend JungleRoam to anyone considering a safari in Kenya. The accommodation they arranged was excellent and perfectly suited for our family of five. Kudos to the entire team, and thank you for your wonderful hospitality.
