Great service, fair pricing, and a perfectly organized safari experience from start to finish
We had the most incredible honeymoon safari in Tanzania with Sereland Safari. From start to finish, everything was extremely well organized and smooth; the booking process, communication, payment, and planning our itinerary were all easy and very flexible, thanks to Mike!
Our trip included flying into the Serengeti where we spent a few wonderful days at the Four Seasons Serengeti, followed by a stay in a beautiful safari camp. After that we continued to Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara, where we also stayed in a lovely lodge. Every part of the journey was thoughtfully arranged and unforgettable.
A very special thank you goes to our ranger and driver, January, who truly made this experience exceptional. His ability to spot animals from far away was unbelievable; his eyesight and instincts are incredible! He always knew exactly where to go to find wildlife and often brought us to quieter spots away from the crowds, which we really appreciated. We always felt completely safe with him, and his knowledge about the animals and the region was amazing. On top of that, he was incredibly friendly, patient, and flexible, always adapting the experience to what we enjoyed most.
This safari was honestly one of the best trips we have ever taken, and our honeymoon could not have been more perfect. We would highly recommend Sereland Safari to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania.
Thank you again for such an unforgettable experience :)!!!

"A perfect safari day in Nairobi! The tour had a great, relaxed pace. Our guide and driver, Owen, wa
We had a 20-hour layover in Nairobi and decided to go on a safari — and it was the best decision! The park is incredibly close to the airport, which made it super convenient.
From the moment we landed, we were greeted and taken care of. The whole tour was at a relaxed pace, which we really appreciated since we were between long flights. Our guide and driver, Owen, is such a pleasant person — he drove very carefully and showed us so many beautiful and unique animals. It was an unforgettable experience.
I should also mention that Nairobi city itself can feel a bit unsafe, but thanks to the company and Owen, we felt completely safe the entire time. Highly recommended to anyone with a layover!"

Gorillas, Golden Monkey, Kigali City Tour
IF YOU’RE SOMEONE WHO VALUES AUTHENTICITY IN A REVIEW PLEASE READ THIS IN ITS ENTIRETY.
I’m the type of person to do insane due diligence and cross reference several reviews / sources. If you’re reading this, you’ve found your spot. I spent hours finding this exact tour operator. It was absolutely perfect in every sense. The communication was sensational, the value was reasonable , and my tour driver , Emile, was world class.
There’s a few things I look for in an operator as non negotiables. Communication skills, punctuality , and sincerity. All 3 of which were met and exceeded my expectations. We spoke in length about what tour made sense for me and the implications associated. I was extremely satisfied with the lodges and overall experiences. Frankly speaking, the experiences (golden monkeys and Gorillas) are all uniform in the sense of your tour operator taking you to a place you congregate with other tourists and are deployed in groups.
The main difference in operators is the communication , transport, and suggested lodging and recommended services tailored to your preference and budget.
This is where Lion Safaris shines. I was met with a warm smile and passion for local culture. I shared so many laughs and great moments with my driver , Emile. He was very passionate about the culture and just a kind person. My flight got cancelled and he literally offered to allow me to stay at his house for free. Do NOT miss the genocide tour. It is critical to understanding the resilience of the people of Rwanda. I cried so much and it was truly humbling to know their struggles. That said, the humanity and resilience these people showed after the fact was jaw droppingly inspiring and really helped expand my perspective. You can’t visit Rwanda to just see the animals.
Obviously the gorillas are world class. It’s a top 3 experience of my life and I’ve been to 30 countries that are highly regarded and all continents except Antarctica. I’m a seasoned traveler and I don’t BS my reviews. I wanted to take the time to be verbose in hopes of reaching the target audience of people looking for a world class, unforgettable experience.

Unforgettable 4-Day Safari – We Saw the Big Five and So Much More!
My sister and I did the 4-day group camping safari in March 2026, and we can truly recommend it from the bottom of our hearts. Everything was very well organized from start to finish, and the whole experience was simply unforgettable.
We were picked up on the first day of the safari and also brought back afterwards, which made the whole trip very easy and stress-free.
Our guide Filex was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely dedicated and always tried his best to show us as many animals as possible. You could really tell how experienced he is — he always seemed to know exactly where to find the animals. Thanks to him, we even managed to see a leopard, which is usually very difficult to spot, as well as several rhinos, which are also quite rare to see. In just four days, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, plus many, many other animals.
During the safari, you go on many game drives, which means you really get lots of opportunities to see wildlife. We were amazed by how many animals we saw over the four days.
The food was also great. Fresh meals were prepared three times a day. If you have any dietary restrictions, allergies, or if you are vegetarian, that is not a problem at all — they take this into consideration and prepare suitable meals.
For the camping itself, we would recommend bringing a quick-dry towel, soap, and toilet paper, as these are not provided at the campsite. It is also a good idea to bring enough cash for tips.
Overall, this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We felt safe, well looked after, and very welcome during the entire trip. We would absolutely recommend this safari to anyone considering it.

Always responding and fair price
Our three-day safari in Tanzania was overall a truly fantastic experience. The organization on site worked very well, and we were able to see an incredible number of animals in the different national parks – including elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, and many other species. The Ngorongoro Crater was the absolute highlight for us. Lake Manyara pleasantly surprised us, and Tarangire was closest to what you typically imagine a safari to be like – also excellent!
The accommodation (Ngare Lodge) fit the safari perfectly. It was very clean, practical, and exactly what you would expect for a trip through the national parks. The staff were exceptionally friendly.
Another very positive aspect was the price-performance ratio. For everything you experience and see, the safari is very fairly priced.
Communication with Naite from Joyful Safaris was always very friendly and helpful. We received answers to all of our questions, even during the tour via WhatsApp. Naite picked us up from our hotel at the beginning and also organized a transfer for us after the safari.
Overall, we can highly recommend Joyful Safaris. Anyone who wants to experience Tanzania’s wildlife up close will have a wonderful and unforgettable experience.
A few tips: For the safari, it’s best to bring only carry-on luggage, or ideally just a backpack. We brought far too much, but Naite kindly stored our belongings for us and returned them at the end. Also: bring US dollars or exchange money into Tanzanian shillings. Euros are widely accepted, but their value is often estimated a bit lower ;)
