Logistics, foods, safari, all are well prepared and hosted.

One thing we should note is it is important to be ready for camping with enough goods to survive!

Absolutely incredible in every way, and made our trip as great as it was!
This trip was so much more than we could have dreamed! Benjamin our guide was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable, kind, attentive, and the best about making sure we were getting the best angles on viewing animals and was so good about spotting and finding animals! We saw even more than we could have hoped for. We saw the big five and so many other animals we were really hoping for, as well as so many baby animals which I loved! Baby cheetahs, lions, monkeys, zebra, so amazing. We also enjoyed chatting with Benjamin during down time and long drives. Our experience would not have been as great as it was without him.
We loved every single lodge we stayed at. Every single night I said “I don’t know how the next one could beat this one” and then it would! Lion King truly does a great job of picking the best lodges. They were all so beautiful and the people were so kind. Embalakai was one of our favorites because of the people and the unique experience of staying in a tented lodge in the middle of the Serengeti, it’s unlike anything else. They sang to us our second night and it was one of our favorite memories of the entire trip. Ngorongoro Marera lodge was so beautiful and we loved it!!
The food the entire trip was extraordinary! We enjoyed every single meal we ate! I wish we could take one of the chefs home with us.
I may have missed specific details, but truly the whole experience was exceptional. We wish we could have stayed even longer and hope to come back in the future.
We are so thankful we were able to have this experience and that we chose Lion King. If you’re contemplating going or who to go with you absolutely cannot go wrong here. It will be everything and more than you hope for!!! Thank you all so much.

The tour unfolds very naturally moving through some explanation of the origins and history of Johannesburg. This helps contextualize Soweto. There is lots of explanation and nothing feels rushed. Good value for the price

Friendly , knowledgeable and reliable
We were a group of 10, friends and families. We had a wonderful trip with Bovid Africa. Both the Driver/Guides were well versed with wildlife and also the terrain. The Lodges we stayed in were excellent. The trip was well planned to give a taste of all habitats.
we saw 192 species of birds and about 45 species of mammals.
the Best experience was sighting a female Cheetah with four cubs at Masai Mara. We sighted Spotted Hyenas many times.
We had one member of the group joining mid-trip. She was taken care of very well and picking her from the airport and reaching her mid way was well co-ordinated.
i will certainly recommend Bovid Africa Safaris for birding trips and also for trips with the family.

Best Mid-Range Safari Operator
I wanted to book a private 4-day Ngorongoro/Serengeti safari. After reaching out through Safari Bookings, I received a prompt response from Peter at Kima Safaris. I needed a few extras and was told up front what my final cost would be. I then received my customized itinerary and instructions on how to remit payment. Very cut and dry, the way I like to do business. Upon my arrival at Mt. Kilimanjaro Airport, I was greeted by Steven. During the entire safari, Peter was very patient, and very knowledgeable about the animals, vegetation and of course, Tanzanian culture. He even taught me a few words in Swahili. There’s nothing like having your own personal tour guide! This was my first time traveling to the continent, but as a female, I can say that I felt very comfortable and safe the whole time. I’m enclosing a photo of Steven and I having a sunrise bush breakfast at Robin Serengeti Camp on the Serengeti savanna. What an amazing way to end an amazing safari! I plan to return next year through Kima Safaris. Exceptional service at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Friendly & Informative
Our hotel connected us with G for a trip to Elephant Havens. He made a trip to the hotel to meet with us ahead of time to set price & details, then meet us on time the next morning for the trip itself. He accompanied us on our tour of the sanctuary, assisting with translations and pictures as needed. Great trip and very interesting to learn about elephants up close.

Well educated, friendly, respected tour guide
Julius took my friend and I on a 3 day trip of Uganda and Rwanda. We visited the genocide museum in Kigali before departing to Uganda where we did the gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park. The whole experience was exceptional. The gorilla trekking was a once in a lifetime and we were overwhelmed with the experience we had. Julius is a way known and respected tour guide and made sure we got to trek the Tinatine gorilla family. They were highly active and the silver back was a unit, we got right next to the whole family. We cannot thank Julius enough for an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend Safari vacations and travel service for tours to east Africa and Julius as your tour guide!
