This was our third safari with Compass Odyssey (CO). Our Namibian adventure did not disappoint. We visited several locations in different parts of the country. The activities and excursions were extremely varied and enjoyable; the itinerary executed as promised, safely, seamlessly and without a hitch. You can most definitely count on Darren and Kate of CO to put together a fabulous vacation for you, as we do. They work with the highest level of integrity, professionalism and care, which is why we trust them as much as we do! We will always cherish our memories of Namibia: the people we met; the animals we saw; the desert we walked in; the mountains and starry skies we gazed at; the dunes we climbed; the hot air balloon we flew in; the accommodations we temporarily called home; etc etc etc. On a scale of 1 to 10, our trip was a 15! Do not hesitate to book with Frena
I had a wonderful 3 day experience with Frena. My initial communication was with Fred who was very quick to answer any inquiries. I had a seamless pickup from my hotel in Kigali and then went to both Bwindi and Volcano National Park to see the gorillas and golden monkeys. Accommodation and food was great. My guide and driver Ronald, was very friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel safe during the 3 day trip. He helped me take photos during the trip and also graciously made a couple of extra stops to try jackfruit and buy coffee beans. Highly recommend booking with Frena for a great travel experience!

The people!
Although they definitely need to improve organization and communication skills, I got everything I booked for and more!
I booked a 4 days/3 nights in a tented camp at the Sekekama lodge, which is really new (only 4 months). The camp is basic, but the tents are kept really clean, no mosquitoes inside, bed is comfy, sheets are immaculate, the food was hearty and abundant and a bonfire was done in the evening. All the staff was helpful and extremely kind.
I did a sunset drive on the first day (which was mind blowing) with fearless Peace and Mr Goodman, (Peace even ventured into the bushes to help us spot some white rhinos 😍), and two full days of safari, starting at 5.30am getting back around 6pm, one with Evance and one with Eddy, both very knowledgeable, they answered all our questions and tried hard to let us see all the big 5! In my humble opinion, having seen loads of waterfalls and other deeper canyons, I chose an extra day of safari instead of the Panorama day, as you basically spend most of the day in the van, getting out 5’ for a picture. I preferred an extra chance at spotting the big 5, it was incredible how close and how many there are!
Wifi wasn’t working and signal is pretty weak in that area!
In my pack there was adverted a swimming pool, which is actually in the adjacent camp, but you cannot reach it by yourself as it’s not safe to walk.

This was the 2nd booking I was making with Jonam adventures through Ken. They are very friendly and with timely comunication for the most part , they 100% deliver on their promise. I would definitely book my Next trip with Jonam adventures.

Friendly, relaxed, informative and fun tour with a knowledgable, engaging and welcoming guide
We really enjoyed our tour of the falls with Kuda, our guide, which was fun, relaxed, informative and all round enjoyable.
The collection from our hotel was perfectly timed and very easy.
The tour itself was brilliant. Kuda was engaging and knowledgable and gave a tour which was entertaining and informative.
We would definitely recommend the company and the guide, Kuda.

Excellent guiding by Kuda
Kuda collected us from our hotel. He was waiting for us as we got to the lobby. His driving was excellent and he helped us get some cash out. He took us into the park and was very knowledgeable, giving us lots of information and also giving us time to enjoy the falls at our own pace. He took some great photos of us. We had a great afternoon out.

Amazing experience!!
We did a three day guided tour of Kruger.
The team did a great job with communication prior to the safari to ensure that all our questions were answered promptly. We had no major issues before the safari and during it as well.
Nick was our guide during the trip and he was fantastic!! He made the trip enjoyable by providing plenty of commentary on the animals and we’re very happy with his knowledge. He made the trip an absolute blast and really went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. We couldn’t be more happy with the experience! We did only see three of the Big 5 but fault at all from Nick - More just luck of the draw.

Truly amazing experience
If you're considering a safari in Tanzania, I highly recommend Suricata Safaris based on our incredible experience. We explored the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Tarangire National Park, and every aspect of the trip was meticulously planned and executed by the Suricata team.
Our guide, Rocky, was a standout. His expertise and passion for Tanzanian wildlife made each game drive fascinating. We felt completely safe and informed, thanks to his extensive knowledge and ability to spot even the most elusive animals.
The food, prepared by our private chef Tito, was consistently excellent. Dining in the wilderness, we were treated to a variety of dishes that were both tasty and beautifully presented, making each meal a delightful experience.
The overall support from the Suricata Safaris team was fantastic. They ensured everything ran smoothly, from arrival to departure, making our safari not just a trip, but a truly memorable experience.

The selection of all places we visited was excellent.
We had an excellent experience with Elephant Herd. The places they chose for us to visit were amazing and the lodges were beautiful and felt like home. The best part was Bhekifa, the guide we had during the safari.

Pure Vibes
Allen was an absolute pleasure to travel with. He was extremely knowledgeable about the local wildlife as well as the region in general. He was in good spirits from the early AM before the sun had even come up right through until night time. He had many interesting life stories about growing up in Vic Falls (for example his cake business!) and as a true music lover we had some good times vibing to music in the truck and at camp site. He’s an absolute professional and I hope he continues to do well in the world of Travel.
