Our driver, Omar, deserves special recognition — his expertise, patience, and respect for the animals turned every game drive into a masterclass in wildlife viewing. He had an uncanny eye for spotting animals and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the best viewing opportunities while keeping a considerate distance and minimising disturbance.
Our itinerary took us through Tsavo East, Amboseli, Tsavo West, and Taita Hills — a fantastic combination that showcased Kenya’s incredible diversity. The wildlife encounters were nothing short of spectacular: elephants roaming across the plains, majestic lions at rest and in action, a beautiful leopard sighting, and large herds of buffalo. Although we were sad not to see rhino this time, the abundance and quality of sightings more than made up for it.
The vehicles and equipment were comfortable and well maintained, and the local knowledge and professionalism of the African Mosaic team were evident at every turn. Lodges and camps were welcoming and added to the overall immersive experience.
