Unforgettable Safari Experience
Our overall experience during our recent trip to Tanzania was exceptional and very enjoyable. We loved all the parks we visited, with Serengeti and Ngorongoro standing out as the main highlights. We witnessed all the Big 5, along with numerous other animals, including some close encounters. Great Trekking Experience
Doing Kilimanjaro with Zara Tours was not only rewarding but an unforgettable experience. The guides were supportive, experienced and knowledgeable. I observed that the whole team was genuinely interested in our success as they went above and beyond to keep us safe, comfortable, and motivated throughout the entire trek. The food was great and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We both reached the summit and owe it all to Zara Tours. They deserve all the flowers that they get.

It’s so wonderful though sceptical initially
It was arranged by my daughter, though I’m so eager to be there. I’d a tough time to find a Muslim friendly operator but I took this risk and this venture went smoothly…I believed there is a big market among Muslim to be there. Observe the requirement of the Muslim and you’re into it in a big scale. The accomodation in Nakuru and Amboseli provide ‘good’ experience for Muslim.

Lavina was warm, friendly and accommodating. The safari experience that I will never forget.
The trip was well planned. When we arrived in Tanzania each day was filled with a variety of activities. The was a meeting as soon as we got there to share the itinerary and we were given detailed packet about each day’s activities. The things we did and what was well worth the money. They were always on time. The members of her team were very knowledgeable which added to the value experience. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is interested in touring Tanzania, Zanzibar or anywhere else in East Africa. I would definitely use them again.

I booked for half daytrip tour to chobe national park, Zambezi sunset cruise n also victoria falls town tour with matt n we have great arrangements after few changes made.me n my friends really enjoyed the tour n glad we managed to see the group of elephants crossing the river.thanks savannah team for this amazing adventure.

He is well informed, courteous and efficient
The tour was well conducted in a systematic way. The operator was giving plenty of information about the particular animal, its habits, behaviour, nature. Some interesting titbits. We were able to spot the big ones,and the small ones, too. He was impressive.
Our only regret was not spotting the leapord inspite of all efforts.

Our safari with Shanjoy Tours through Kenya and Tanzania was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will treasure forever!
From the very beginning, Beth handled all the planning seamlessly. Every lodge and camp was perfectly chosen, especially The Zeebra Plains and Embalakai. Their hospitality was unforgettable, and the humbleness of the staff at each camp turned our trip into a truly living experience. The entire journey felt personal, safe, and thoughtfully curated.
We were a group of 16 family and friends, and coordinating such a large group can be challenging, but everything from smooth transfers to unforgettable game drives ran like clockwork.
We were incredibly lucky to travel with Patrick, the owner of Shanjoy and his incredibly caring and amazing team of drivers: Richard, Kim, Rio, Isaac, Issa, and Ledgar, whose expertise, sharp eye, and warm personality made every moment special. Each one contributing in their own unique way made our journey seamless, comfortable, and full of heart.
Whether it was spotting elusive wildlife or navigating tricky situations, Patrick and his team were true professionals. At one point, our vehicle suffered a tire blowout surrounded by a pride of lions, a nerve-wracking moment that Patrick and his team handled with calm, confidence, and care. What could have been a stressful situation became an unforgettable experience that was both fun and safe, an example of their incredible leadership and experience under pressure.
From witnessing the Big Five, to a rare sighting of a mother leopard and her two cubs at their den, to watching a cheetah take down its prey, every day was filled with awe and excitement. Add to that the joy of bonding as a group under the African skies, and you have something far more than just a tour, it was a journey of a lifetime led by people who genuinely care.

Absolutely great guide
We went on the Nyerere and Miluki Parks Safari and had a great time. Our guide Michael was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about not only the animals in the parks but had an amazing ability to spot even the smallest of interesting species. He also gave us great insights into the life and politics of Tanzania. The lodges were comfortable and the food was good at both.

Excellent tour operator that will tailor your trip according to your desires
We spent 2 days in the Masai Mara and 1 1/2 days at Lake Nakuru. You will be able to capture the African Big five here. The tour was incredible and we saw an abundance of wildlife. Unfortunately, the wildebeest were not traversing the Mara River while we were there, but it is a hit or miss event. Our guide made sure we viewed plenty of wildlife. Spirit of Kenya tailored the tour to our personal level of comfort and the accommodations were spot on. I, personally, am a photographer and highly recommend renting the open sided land cruiser. The correspondence with S of K was excellent and thorough. Reserve your safari as far in advance as possible (A year ahead or even further), especially if you are going during the peak season.
