5 stars for an incredible operator
5/5

I organized a trip for 12 people and we highly made it tailor to our requests. Every single detail was provided for.
We flew in hot air balloons over the plains, landed in the middle of nowhere and a full dinner was already arranged just for a our group.
We got up an close to the wildlife, making it very memorable.
We met a local shaman that opened up our perception of the environment.
We visited, the root place where our own race - humans - originated from.
and much, much more.
Not a single mishap.
All went to plan.
Exoud was a true leader.

Excellent tour operator who is keen to make your trip as memorable as possible.
5/5

We did a tour of the Serengeti and ngorongoro crater from Arusha town with for our New Years family holiday. This tour operator was excellent and what stood out were; always on time, lovely meals and snacks (that was especially important for the kids) , knowledge of the various parks and museums and a very amiable personality of the driver Exaud.

Sedrick stuck with us for over 2 years during Covid, answering all our questions.
5/5

Sedrick, our online contact, and James our driver/guide for the trip were wonderful to work with! Communication was clear and timely. No additional money was requested even after our 2 year wait for this trip (Covid). James was incredibly knowledgeable about anything related to Uganda, its people and animals. He was very clear about information regarding breakfast and safari departure times each day. He was a great driver getting in close at the game reserves for us to see the animals. Highlights were Zziwa Rhino sanctuary where we were able to walk with guides to see white rhinos right in the field. We stood within a few feet of Murchison Falls as it tumbled down soaking us as it roared into the Nile below. We witnessed crazy good driving skills at Queen Elizabeth National Park after it rained and the roads were muddy. We saw male and female lions mating and a group of multiage lion cubs with females just playing in the grass. There were over a 100 hippos in one huge mud hole! Our trip was 10 days which included the chimp and gorilla treks which were everything we were expecting including a very difficult climb through dense growth and game trails that were often full of mud in order to see the gorillas. It was so worth it! All of our accommodations were as we were expecting with great food. This was an unforgettable trip.

One of a lifetime safari
5/5

Amazing experience with Tanzania Specialist. Beforehand with Solenn as she understood well our needs an budget. Along with us, Peter, our guide. He is super experienced and knowledgeable. It was always interested in finding the most difficult animals (Cheetah, Leopard and Rhino). All the lodge pre-selected by Solenn were fantastic. Small lodges and intimate locations. Our extension to Zanzibar was great to relax from the free African massage ;-). We are happy in choosing this agency and would recommend them to anyone else seeking for a thrill and an authentic experience.

Best Trip Ever
5/5

I was part of a group of five wildlife photographers who toured Namibia for two weeks with Nature Travel Namibia. Having never been I didn’t know what to expect but my experience far exceeded my highest hopes, and I came home with far more experiences and “keeper” images than from any prior trip. It was my best trip ever, and I’ve done wildlife photography tours on 6 continents.

We stayed in four different lodges and they ranged from very nice to posh. I was especially impressed with and enjoyed Onguma Bush Camp and Mowani Mountain Camp. The menus were varied and delicious with good choices for all palates. We moved between lodges in Nature Travel Namibia’s spacious and comfortable van. Our game drives used the open trucks with three bench seats belonging to each lodge.

Our guide, Nick Buys, was fantastic. He’s a wildlife/conservation veterinarian who also is an experienced game tracker and birder. I’m convinced we saw twice as many animals and behaviors due to his direction than we would have done with another guide. He not only found numerous animals, but also predicted when they would move, where they would move, and positioned our vehicle so we could capture unique images when they did. He was a master at suggesting when to change locations and when to stay; we often sat while other tourists near us drove away, only to see dramatic animal action soon after.

Nature Travel Namibia took great care of us, from our airport pickup to our final airport return. All travel, meals, and lodging were arranged, but Nick also made changes on the fly as our schedule changed and in accordance with our goals. He booked extra game drives and activities whenever we had down time and made sure they were private rather than group ones. He made sure our meals were available when we got back late. He even arranged for veterinarians in our group to observe a cheetah immobilization and health assessment at a wildlife sanctuary. Nick is truly a wildlife expert and fountain of knowledge. He was friendly, funny, and interesting, and a great companion. He meshed with our group as if he was an original member.

Our trip exceeded every expectation. I would book another trip with Nature Travel Namibia in a heartbeat and hope to do so again soon.

Tawi was the best and took care of us from landing to takeoff
5/5

As we planed, Tawi provided us multiple options for our safari and promptly answered every question we had. Their driver met us at the airport the night we arrived, checked us into the Nairobi hotel, and then escorted us to the airport in the morning. Every detail was addressed.
The safari camp we chose was full and originally scheduled us (with our permission) for their overflow area - just as nice, but without the same views. Behind the scenes, Tawi went to work and upon arriving to the camp we discovered we'd been moved to the nicest tent in the main camp, overlooking the Mara River.
Upon completing the Safari and landing back in Nairobi, the driver was ready for us and helped us complete a couple of errands before taking us to our accommodations (we were staying for a couple days of business).
We can't say enough good compliments about Njeri, who organized our trip, and Paul, the driver who took personal care of us!

Well organized, easy to communicate with company provided an unforgettable safari at a great price!
5/5

5 stars for Shengena Adventure company and our guide Kisali. The safari was very well organized, the accommodations were perfect, and the price was quite fair. The highlight was the Serengeti and Tarangire NPs where we saw more wildlife than we could ever imagine. Kisali our guide even enabled us to see a cheetah chase due to his perfect timing and positioning

5-day Safari with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions
5/5

After visiting Namibia a few years ago (self-drive), we wanted to return to Africa and realized we would need an organized tour with a guide/driver.
After research and reading reviews we choose Tanzania as destination as Parks are relatively close and did not want to spend too many days on the road.
Read good reviews and comments on TripAdvisor and other sites regarding Tanzania Roadside Expeditions.
From the initial contact they were very helpful and quick to respond, flexible to accommodate our wishes., with excellent pricing and conditions!

We did a private 5-day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara.
Our driver and guide, Eli, was phenomenal!! He is an excellent wild life spotter and
knew exactly where to take us for better views and photos, always in good spirit and very pleasant and easygoing guy!
We had good accommodations that varied from a real (temporary) Kati-kati tented camp in Serengeti ((fantastic experience / should have stayed for 2 nights instead of 1!) and very luxurious hotel as the Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge (Wellworth Collection).
Food was very good and we had great dinners, breakfasts and quite diverse lunchboxes for underway.
The driving from Lake Burunge-Tarangire to Serengeti was extremely long and took us 10 hours on rough, dusty and sometimes scary roads. We would have appreciated a bit more information regarding this.
Fortunately, Eli is an extremely experienced driver, always with a lovely smile on his face and he tried to accommodate all our wishes regarding travel times, stops for coffee (wonderful coffee in Tanzania!), photos, etc…

The only 3 details that could be improved would be:
1) better/newer seats in the 4x4 vehicle (at least ours)
2) information about distances and expected driving times to get to each destination.
3) better information regarding Lake Manyara, famous for its thousands of pink flamingos. However, since some time there are no flamingos anymore.
We would have preferred to stay an extra night in Serengeti (considering the long drive to get there, one night is too short) and would have skipped Lake Manyara.

We highly recommend Tanzania Roadside Expeditions (Paul Justine, General Manager) for their prompt responses, experience and professionalism, help with Covid testing, etc.
We highly recommend visiting Tanzania! Beautiful places and thousands of animals! We did see the Big 5 and much more!

Absolutely brilliant
5/5

We spent 2 days with our guide, Mylord. Mylord was brilliant. He made a great meal in the campsite, made us very comfortable and offered great advice. The morning of the second day was very hot and Mylord suggested seeing animals first and going to breakfast a little later. This was the advice that saved the trip because we saw many many animals, the whole big 6 and then wild dogs, a leopard, a cheetah, and they all walked away after 5 minutes, so had we not taken Mylords advice we would have missed it all. He was a great guide and the whole experience was once in a lifetime. Perfect.

Great company, very serious with good knowledge and good recommandations to adapt your safari
5/5

6 day safari

We did a 6 day safari with the agency following the recommendations given. We made the choice to start from the north of the Serengeti to see the migration, then the center of the Serengeti to finish with the Ngorongoro reserve.
Thanks to our guide Jamal who has a great experience we saw many animals and had a fantastic time.
Lizbeth organized our safari and made proposals, everything was perfect with quick responses. Due to the covid we postponed our trip several times, Lizbeth had a follow-up of our project for more than two years.
If you wish to go on a safari in Tanzania we can only recommend the agency which has a long experience and is very serious.
We stayed 5 nights in tent camps, they are very well equipped tents with all the comforts of a lodge. The vehicle is also well equipped and there are cold drinks available every day. For the photos, Jamal always knew how to place himself in the right place and allowed us to experience fantastic moments and take exceptional photos. We also learned a lot about the life of the animals in the reserve.
We preferred to limit ourselves to these two reserves and saw practically all the animals, the agency offers other routes or several reserves, it depends on your time and your budget, you can follow the advice of the agency with confidence .
Have a good trip.
