He was a major factor in booking with Migration Venture Africa. Good decision, the trek was excellent, very well organized and the mountain crew & food surpassed expectations. I was also happy with the staff and our guide Joseph throughout.

Excellent safari
We had an amazing experience with the safari, we booked the 5 day safari.
John communicated with us and we got everything planned clearly. We were very lucky during the safari and saw a lot of rare animals. The value for money was great and we did not experience any difficulties.

Booked a safari at Rhino Ridge just before the world closed down for Covid.
The ever helpful Ines kept the booking 'live' until the lifting of restrictions allowed us to travel. We were kept updated throughout the 2 years before we were able to actually travel. In the period leading up to our safari, Indigo provided all the details we needed to help make our safari the adventure of a life-time.

Fantastic adventure with a professional, friendly, competent and knowledgeable Tanzania Explorer
We were two families (9 people) travelling together on this adventure. Before the trip, we had great communication with Sondre about all details regarding our trip. He really customized this trip to our wishes. We really enjoyed the Explorer Villa, and the trip to the Island outside Daar, was a great start og our journey. We enjoyed the best lobster ever on this Island trip! Our first location of the safari was at the Vuma Hills and we had great safaris in Mikumi. The canvas an the lodge was really something! We had two nights at Hondo Hondo on our way to Ruaha, and is was a different experience regarding the climate and the rain forest. Our favorite Lodge was the Ruha River Lodge, which is a magic place to stay. To live this close to the hippos are really something special. We had great safaris in Ruaha, and even enjoyed a walking-safari. This was really exiting! After early mornings for many days on safaris, it was great to relax at the Uzuri Villa on Zanzibar for some days. Beautiful small boutique hotel and outstanding staff! To finish up our trip we stayed two nights at the Emerson Spice in Stone Town. This hotel is like an adventure itself!

The best African Zafari company!!!
We did a Safari in the last week of June with Zohar African Safaris. We have to say that it was an amazing experience!!!. This was our first safari and Lillian and her team helped us through the whole process. Our tour guide, Ibra, was the best, thanks to him we enjoyed the natural savana and all its wildlife. Not only did we see the amazing big 5, we were also able to understand a little bit about how all the animals behave in their natural environment. We recommend them 100%!! Definitely, this is an experience that you need to do at least once in your life...

Fantastic, friendly, reliable and knowledgeable!
We have just returned from a fantastic safari with Tanzania Horizon Safaris. We would (and will!) 100% recommend them to all of our friends. We found all of our accommodation exceeded our expectations in terms of facilities and friendly, personalised service. Our stay at Tortilis Lake Manyara was particularly charming with staff singing and dancing for us! The views at Lions Paw were also spectacular.
The food was also excellent in all locations as well as our lunch boxes.
Our jeep was reliable and comfortable - and we had no problems - unlike many other jeeps that we saw!
As for Ian, our driver/guide, he was a really lovely, knowledgable, friendly companion for the week. He is an excellent driver and made us feel very safe - we noticed a lot of other jeeps with tyre or wheel problems. He was excellent at finding the best places to view the animals and we were really lucky to see some amazing sights. His English was excellent and we taught him some additional English slang words for the teenagers!
The whole trip was excellent value for money and significantly cheaper than other providers that we had looked at

Exceptional customer service from start to finish, a first class experience, highly recommended
From the outset when we were researching which of the many safari operators to choose, Lion King stood out with their quick responses to our questions and their flexibility in changing the schedule to suit our needs. We originally booked for 2020, but had to postpone for two years running due to Covid. During the last 2 years Lion King have kept in touch and have been exceptional in their support - we have had to rearrange dates and schedules, and nothing has been too much trouble. I must thank Pendo for all of her tireless help, her customer service is first class. The communication beforehand and all of the arrangements while on safari have been outstanding.
The safari itself was fabulous. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara, all different but hugely rewarding experiences. The highlight had to be Serengeti, we saw all of the big 5 plus many more, including lion cubs and baby elephants which we could have watched all day. Our guide was Immanuel, and he was also great. He had an incredible eye for spotting animals and was full of information about the wildlife and Tanzanian culture. Again nothing was too much trouble, and it was great to see his genuine passion and enthusiasm for the wildlife, which further enhanced the experience.
The Land Cruiser was very capable and comfortable, essential on the bumpy terrain, and allowed a great view. Immanuel brought it back immaculately clean each morning, incredible after all of the dust from the previous day.
Lunches on the game drives were excellent, cooked meals everyday, there were plenty of envious faces from guests of other operators. The lodges were also of a high standard, and conveniently located. I must mention Tarangire Simba Lodge and Rhino Lodge at Ngorongoro, we had the pleasure of watching elephants while we were eating dinner at both of them.
Overall I could not recommend Tanzania, Lion King or Immanuel highly enough. We will return one day!

Hi, we just had an 8 day safari with Royal Tigers. Considering it's Africa, first learned Hakuna Matata. If you can do that life will be simple there.
Our guide, Eli was the best of all. He has a deep knowledge about wildlife and where to find them. Even if the weather was not helping he always find the way to spot and see something new and interesting. Besides he is a good driver which you need on those bumpy roads. Excellent man, ask for him.
Our cook Amid always cared about fresh ingredients, made warm food twice a day. It was a lot and very delicious. No problems with stomach at all. I realized here how important it is to eat good quality.
All other guides we met were nice and welcoming. All spoke English very well. Everyone was helpful and they like to talk about whatever you ask them.
I'm happy we choose this tour. We met good people, we had a brilliant safari and we were cared about.
I recommend to all to book here. It is safe and value for money.
