His unfailing good humor as well as his professionalism made this stay perfect. We were able to see lots of animals as well as beautiful landscapes. There were so many Safari options to choose from but I’m sure this one is absolutely one of the best! Not only did we see some of the most amazing animals on the planet and some of the most beautiful landscapes, the people were what really made the trip for us. Our tour guide, Gerry, was phenomenal! He was extremely informative and did everything in his power to go above and beyond in every single aspect. I highly recommend Savannah Explorers and highly recommend you ask for him to be your tour guide! We feel very blessed and are going back home with our hearts and minds full of some awesome memories. Special shout out to Albert in the sales office also!

I just completed an 8 day Safari with Lion King Adventures with my family. Our guide was Immanuel who was fantastic . He is a very knowledgeable and incredibly hardworking person. The Land Cruiser well maintained and always the cleanest vehicle each day. Immanuel has an extremely strong knowledge on the animals, flora and local culture. He is well connected with the other Safari guides, which helps spotting the animals each day. We were able to see the Big 5 and many other beautiful animals, most very close up!
The accommodations at each place were unique and great. We were served a plate lunch each day and were the envy of those with box lunches.
I can highly recommend Lion King for your Safari as well as Immanuel as your guide. Try to get him especially when you plan to visit the Serengeti, he loves this place and his enthusiasm will rub off on you too!

Amazing Service from Start to Finish
We booked a 4 day/3 night Safari with Beacon Safaris in August 2022. The experience was first class from the minute we booked. Robert was a major help in swiftly replying to our emails and any queries we had, which was very reassuring. The main reason we enjoyed the experience so much was down to our driver and guide, Anthony. As soon as he picked us up in Nairobi, Anthony made us feel very welcome, he was a great driver, extremely friendly and provided us with lots of interesting information on the various towns and areas we drove through on the way to the Masai Reserve.
We were amazed that even after a tough 5 hour drive from Nairobi to the Safari camp and after minimal rest, Anthony brought us straight out on an evening game drive where we caught our first glimpse of the Big 5 and were also lucky enough to witness a breathtaking sunset. Anthony's energy and enthusiasm every day of the trip was incredible, as was his vast knowledge of the animals, flora and fauna and this made the experience even more memorable. We saw more animals and authentic encounters than we could've possibly imagined, with Anthony always managing to get us in a great spot to capture incredible photos.
This trip was a special one for us as a couple, as we got engaged on day 2 of the safari, and I cannot praise Anthony highly enough for the role he played in ensuring the day went so smoothly. From his flexibility and guidance in helping choose the correct moment, to organizing a magical lunch beneath a towering Acacia tree surrounded by Zebra, in addition to taking many photographs and videos the day, and memories we have of it, would not be possible without the help of Anthony. We cannot thank him enough for making it so special, even ensuring we stopped before leaving Nairobi to pick up some champagne ahead of the celebrations, and still managing to keep it a secret from my now Fiance!
We cannot recommend Beacon Safaris and Anthony highly enough, and hope to some day return to Kenya with them again.

It was well organized and everything was very fine. We had a lot of fun during the Safari and our guide (Rocky) was amazing. He did teach us a lot about the animals and the tanzanian culture. He was so kind and communicating. His English was very good.
Everyday there was a very tasty hot meal for Lunch in the Nationalparks. The accomodations were amazing. In the tentend lodges, you'll enjoy a luxury stay close to the animals.
It was such a amazing time for us with unbelievable experiences. We can really recommend Suricata Safaris.

Incredible safari experience, a trip of a lifetime
My husband and I did the 5 Day Great Safari group tour with Rocky and would absolutely recommend this to anyone thinking of doing a safari.
From start to finish it was really well organised by Suricata Safaris and Hilary answered all my questions before we travelled, being available on WhatsApp for help with getting to Arusha etc was really appreciated. He was very quick at responding to our messages. On the safari we saw more animals than we expected, including the big 5 and often these were closer than we thought they would be, so we had some really close encounters and were able to take some beautiful photos. Everything was so well organised and Rocky looked after us really well. Rocky is very knowledgeable about all the animals and was happy to share lots of information about both the animals but also the culture and life in Tanzania. Rocky always made sure that everyone was happy and took time to ensure that we all took photos from the best angle, never rushing us to move on from admiring an animal. The food and accommodation was 5* and as many reviewers had said before us, the food that is provided in the middle of the Serengeti is very impressive! We would love to return to do another tour.

For German speaking travelers I recommend Kenneth as a guide. He speaks German very well and has always discovered many animals that I would not have seen myself.
The tour was very well organized. The country is beautiful. There are beautiful varied landscapes, many birds and animals to discover. The lodges were all well chosen, the rooms were good and the food was good too.
