Our safari was simply amazing! Diligent guide, prompt communication and wonderful service!
Million thanks to Naomy and Francis (our guide) for 7-day and 2-day safari organized for us! Everything was just like I wanted - timing, safari experience, accomodation and communication. Special thanks to Francis for trying to find diverse wildlife for us, we were lucky to see a leopard three times during 7-day safari and that's for sure due to Francis' diligent approach. I also enjoyed communication with Naomy - I had many requests and all replies were prompt and relevant. I would definetely recommend this company to my friends.

Outstanding!
I can’t imagine planning a future trip to Africa without the help of Ker & Downey Africa! They did such a wonderful job arranging my 8-night itinerary in South Africa that included stays at three unique properties (they handpicked for me) and two internal flights. Knowing experts had planned my trip I was able to enjoy it without worrying about what could go wrong. Based on my experience I’m under the impression that they only work with the best properties and tour guides. As a travel journalist I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and lodges and have met hundreds of tour guides so I should know. I also appreciated the attention to detail that went into creating my itinerary as well as the constant communication. I even reached out to them one Saturday morning before 8 am and I got a reply within minutes! They also made themselves available to assist me with anything after my itinerary was over and I was enjoying an extra week in Cape Town. It would be an honor to travel with Ker & Downey again. If you have the opportunity to, definitely don’t hesitate!

The best!

The hotels included on my tour were great: clean, safe and the food was also really nice.
I had the time of my life during game drives because Daniel made sure I saw a vast variety of animals everyday. He has an extensive knowledge about Africa and Kenya culture as well as wildlife itself so none of my questions was remained unanswered.
When I travel to Kenya again in the future, I will travel again with Meektrails and with my friend Daniel

Outstanding experience - we were very well looked after
We really had the trip of a lifetime when we went on Oshili's 12 day 'In and around Namibia Tour'. Naas who took us around was extremely personable and made the trip very enjoyable. There was some flexibility on the itinerary too, plus we were very impressed with the quality of the accommodations we stayed in. We would highly recommend Oshili to operate tours around Namibia. Naas is hugely knowledgeable about his country and is also very passionate about tourism there.

Wonderful guides for a rich cultural and wildlife experience.
We had a wonderful experience with our 9-day Ugandan safari through Primate World Safaris. Due to the uncertainties around COVID travel, we planned our trip on relatively short notice - Jackson was incredibly responsive and helpful as we worked to get everything in order about three weeks before our planned trip date. Jackson responded within hours to any question we had days, nights, and weekends (above and beyond what we expected) and even helped us navigate the visa application and approval process.
Jackson and Geoffrey met us at the airport in Entebbe and helped us negotiate the additional COVID screening protocols in place at the airport for a relatively painless arrival considering the circumstances. Geoffrey was our guide from Kampala forward and took excellent care of us as we traveled throughout the country - he did an excellent job catering the trip to our needs. He is incredibly knowledgeable across a wide range of subjects - any time we had questions about the people, cultures, politics, or wildlife of the places we visited he provided us with insightful answers.
All of our accomodations were of high quality, and Geoffrey had personal relationships with the staff, who were invariably very friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of at each stop. Geoffrey and Jackson also did a nice job planning our accomodations and tour stops so that our money made its way back into the local communities as much as possible, which we really appreciated.
The trip had many highlights - the immersive treks with the chimpanzee in Kibale and gorilla families in Bwindi Impenatrable forest were truly breathtaking experiences. Geoffrey was outstanding as our game-drive guide showing us elephants, lions, bufalo, hippos, leopards, antelope, and the national bird of Uganda, the African crane.
Jackson met us and Geoffrey back in Kampala to see us off, and we got to meet Geoffrey's young twins as well which was another highlight at the end of our trip. Geoffrey said from the beginning that he would treat him as family - and we felt that throughout the entire trip.
We would recommend Primate World to anyone considering a Uganda safari - and are really hoping to return at somepoint ourselves.

Amazing, once in a lifetime stay
We came from the US so it was hard managing all the plans, but the front office staff made it amazingly easy. Everyone was so accommodating and kind. The game drives were absolutely amazing. We took 2 teenagers who are still talking about this once in a lifetime trip. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Everything, starting with a discussion of the trip by mail, detailed and fast answers, guiding and safari itself were wonderful.
Our guide Patrick was exceptional and a true professional, friendly and super responsive. He was very experienced, has a wealth of information about the country, animals, wildlife, his stories were very interesting, and he always managed to answer the ton of our questions. He was very considerate and fulfilling our requests to the best of the ability. He made our experience truly outstanding!!!
Also our guide Patrick was very professional driver. We chose Landcruiser for the trip and we never regret about this. We had an adventurous game drives and driving between the National parks was very comfortable.
Our experience is beyond our imagination. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience, highly recommend!
Our trip included South Africa (Kruger), Zambia (Victoria Falls), Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls, Livingstone Preserve), and Botswana (Chobe) and we couldn't have been more pleased with every aspect of our trip. The lodging and safari guides at each stop along the way were top notch. My biggest concern was the coordination of all the transfers, including required COVID testing prior to each border crossing, but Compass Odyssey had the logistics of each planned out perfectly. We never had to wait for our transportation at any border crossing, nor did we ever have to worry about when and where our COVID tests were to take place - having those things scheduled in advance and taking place in a timely fashion really took a lot of stress out of the trip. Overall our time in Southern Africa was one of the most memorable and enduring adventures we've ever experienced and we look forward to returning one day. Big thanks to Darren and Kate and their family for helping us put together a terrific safari!
