The safari was wonderful. We saw everything what we wanted to see and even more. We learned a lot about the culture and animals. Julius is a great guide, he is kind and very knowledgeable about everything. I would recommend everyone to go on safari with Julius.

Cannot recommend Lion King highly enough
We have just finished a 9 day honeymoon safari with Lion King across four Tanzanian parks and we could not be happier. We saw lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, black rhinos, hippos, and more zebras, buffalo, wildebeest and flamingos than we could have imagined. We even saw a serval cat! We were lucky, but it wasn’t just luck. Our guide Mwita was the best mentor and friend we could have ever hoped for. His guiding philosophy was that nature would provide if we were patient and respected it. His deep respect for everything and everyone in the national parks and conservation areas allowed us to see everything we could have imagined and many things we couldn’t imagine. He knew exactly how and where to look for every animal, and he could see and identify them from hundreds of metres away. As a Serengeti native he knows and loves every animal so well, and he could explain everything to us. He is also an experienced mechanic and an amazing driver, and our spacious Landcruiser was like a home to us. He never gave up on finding an animal, but our safety was always his highest priority. During the rainy season flooded roads and mud can be an issue, but he cheerfully navigated every obstacle and the car never failed. He stopped to help anyone who looked like they might be stuck. The camaraderie and cooperation between all the guides of all the companies was inspiring; whenever anyone saw anything, they were all on the radio to make sure everyone would be able to see it.
All our food and accommodation was excellent, and a lot of lodges went out of the way to give us honeymoon treats. We have never slept so well on a trip after the excitement of every day. We enjoyed many picnic lunches with touches such as tablecloths and wine with personalised labels. At every step in the planning and preparation of our trip, Lion King’s office was helpful and extremely responsive (thanks Pendo!). They are a locally owned company deeply committed to Tanzania.
Tanzania is an unbelievably beautiful place, and it has everything: the “endless plain” of the Serengeti, the garden of eden that is the Ngorongoro caldera, mountains, beaches, forests, and all the animals we have long dreamed of. We cannot recommend Tanzania, Lion King Adventures and Mwita highly enough!

fantastic journey that is totally beyond our expectations!
My husband and I planned our honeymoon trip starting from Oct 2023..After quote for several operators we chose serengeti smile without hesitation because Albert always responds so quickly. During the trip I will definitely recommend our guide Champion who is very professional and knowledgable about animals, Masai history and plants. He always answer our questions very patiently and can resolve unexpected issues quickly. We had a fantastic journey of collecting Big 5!

Amazing day at Ngorongoro Crater
We had a great day visiting the Ngorongoro Crater from Arusha. The drive is long but well worth it when you get there. Both breakfast and lunch was included and the food was delicious. Our guide was very friendly and we managed to see 4 of the top 5!! Highly recommend if you're looking for a day visit.

The tour operator was absolutely amazing, kind and super well organised
We did a 4 night 5 day Safari with Isahya to Nyerere and Mikumi national park! It was absolutely amazing, we had the best time in our trip! From the pick up in dar es salaam to our last day and drop off everything was super well organised and Isahya always provided us with everything we needed! The accommodation were very nice and the rooms were super spacious! I can not recommend this trip more! We enjoyed every second of it! Thanks again to the great Organisation from Isahya

We had an amazing tour guide - Stanley! There was heavy rains in the first day and the roads were bad but Stanley got us through safety and made sure we were okay! Also he was super knowledgeable about everything! He also made sure we got to see The Big 5!!! Best Tour Guide Ever! Highly recommend and will be sending all my family and friends to him!
We also stayed at Jambo Mara had the most amazing sleep and super comfortable bed which was important since we were waking up early!

Stanly made our trip a 10 stars experience
We booked a private 3 day safari tour with no expectations rather than connecting with the savannah and learning more about the environment.
Our guide Stanley turned our trip to an absolute magical experience. We saw the Big Five + 30-40 more animal species - all within 2 days. The man is a well of knowledge, super friendly, helpful, resourceful and we felt he genuinely wanted the best for us. Totally recommended and we will bring back our friends.
Ask for Stanley and you won’t go wrong.

Deo went above and beyond!
Deo was our guide on our honeymoon safari in Dec 2023. We loved our time with him! He was prepared with everything we could need (waters, lunches, etc.) and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. He was super knowledgeable and we learned so much! He went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see and get the best pictures. He was up for early mornings and long days of driving. We appreciated that he checked in with us often about making a plan for the day to make it the best trip possible.

Glory is thoughtful, and helpful!
Glory did a great job planning our safaris in Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire Park. Our driver picked us up right at the airport and brought us to our hotel. He picked us up early the next day for safari and we had a blast! He was very knowledgeable and extremely kind. We saw so many animals and had really nice weather. This was a trip of a lifetime - thanks to Glory!
