Amazing experience
5/5

We requested a trip to include a little of everything and we received an itinerary which was exactly that. We were looked after from the moment we were picked up from the airport until the moment we were dropped off again. All details of the trip including food were taken care of for us. Couldn't fault the food or the accommodation. The whole experience was amazing and good fun. This was a trip that will never be forgotten.

Don't look any further if you want to tour Uganda!
5/5

I have just returned from my Ugandan safari and I already feel nostalgia for what has been a home away from home for 14 indelible days that count as years. And I am not being hyperbolic when I say that my solo escape to Uganda has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience which will remain engrained in my memory forever.
Everything about Uganda spoke to my soul: the sprawling savannah inhabited by hundreds of species of birds and unhabituated animals, the untouched beauty of the landscapes, the huge expanses of wilderness, the unspoilt, rough bush experience, the lushness of the vegetation surrounding the crater lakes in Kabarole district, the sound of the rapids of the Nile river, the warmth and hospitality of the people, the visits to the local communities and the relatively unmediated insights into their lives, the encounter with the chimpanzees in the wild and, last but not least, with the gorillas in their forest habitat, the most memorable, transformative experience of the trip and, quite possibly, of my life.
And all this wouldn’t have been possible without the advice, the support and guidance of Sedrick, who helped me put together the travel itinerary that suited me best, striking the perfect balance between intense days and unwinding days; assisted me in selecting the lodges that resonated with me and the landscape they are immersed in (and that follow and promote good conservation practices and ethics); communicated swiftly with me via email from the start, offered me excellent value for money and made transactions easy.
But my most heartfelt thanks go to James, my driver, my guide, my companion, for his confident driving that made me feel very secure even on the less travelled roads; for his knowledge in terms of local culture, wildlife and nature; for his insider’s perspective into the Ugandan way of life and customs; for his professionality, his reliability, his kindness, his attentiveness, his friendliness. He definitely went above and beyond to address my concerns, meet my demands and fulfill my wishes. I can’t praise him highly enough.
This journey has been a time of exploration, renewal and real bonding.
I hope to return to Uganda one day and, when that happens, I will certainly book my safari with Ngoni Safaris.

Journey of a lifetime
5/5

This one is probably the most challenging review I wrote. After two weeks' journey in Uganda with Sam and Anna, we felt like leaving our long lost and finally found family members and not our guides. We booked a 13-day long tour across Uganda, and we met Sam the night before starting the journey. You know that feeling when you meet a new person and instantly feel that you have known it for a whole life. That's was our situation. We explained that we would like to know about history, culture, way of life, practically everything we can learn about Uganda and Sam made impossible. He answered every our questions showed us local culture, local food, different tribal traditions and relationships. He drove us not between parks and lodges but between Uganda's enormous cultural and ethnic diversity, though long and complex history and its consequences. For us, that was not only an incredible safari but also a journey through space and time, through rituals and traditions, through real Uganda. Safari and parks experience was perfect since Sam's, and Anna's eyes are so trained that we had a feeling that they could spot steady animals from a few kilometres of distances while sleeping. We learned a lot from them about birds, wildlife, different vegetation and climate, and animal habits, so we spent evenings renewing the names of the spotted animals. We stayed and fantastic lodges and camps but having lunch with Sam's family was a memorable experience for us and not only because Sam's mom is a great cook. All our activities were carefully planned, so after two days we have just relaxed knowing that we're in perfect hands and that Sam and Anna will lead us to the best places they know. Gorilla tracking and community walk at Bigodi were unbelievable activities, first because of the most exciting trail we ever had with machetes cleaning the jungle in front of us. Second, it allowed us to literary enter to one community's everyday life, habits and traditions. Maybe because of that constant contrast - where we would start our day in perfectly organized lodge viewing on the crater lakes, with warm toast and cold butter melting on it, and just a few hours later had lunch (on our insisting) in a local pork restaurant eating by hands, listening to local music sitting around barley sturdy plastic table- allowed us to enjoy our Uganda journey even more. For us, this was a journey of a lifetime, thanks to Sam and Anna. They understood us and adapted the classic itinerary according to our wish to see Uganda from all possible angles. The last day I felt that I was living there for years, feeling of understating which I didn't reach even in the countries where I'm a regular visitor and all that thanks to two of our fantastic guides and now hopefully friends for life. Thank you for everything.

Unbelievable, faultless Experience with Kiliholidays
5/5

I really dont know where to begin praising Kiliholidays, every single aspect of the entire trip was faultless.

Beginning with Mack, the owner, who couldnt do enough to organise and ensure we had the best time possible, always at hand with any queries or requests.

Everywhere we stayed was brilliant, food amazing, fantastic guides in Edward and Thomas, who ensured we ticked off the big 5 and more than we could of hoped for.

I really wouldn't use another company when going on Safari. Could not recommend enough.

The trip of a lifetime, Botswana bucket list
5/5

Wayfairer travel planned our trip of a lifetime during the difficult time of covid. We booked before the pandemic so the company had to amend our trip several times, they worked hard to sort out covid testing in Africa and changing our trip due to flight changes.

The communication was prompt and they worked hard to reschedule and sort out our problems. Once we got to Africa everything was seamless, airport pickup and internal transfers were great. The Kwando camps picked by Josh gave us a great balance of safari experience.

It is a trip we will never forget we will be back and we will use wayfairer travel again! Many thanks

Amazing Family Safari........well organised.
5/5

I and my wife choose a 5 Days Safari from Sensation of Africa, We haven't done a Safari before so we were curious, excited and at the same time afraid. We searched online and found several agencies but since our first email we sent to Sensation of Africa, and read that it is family & locally owned we felt safe since we are also a family. Joseph assisted us we all the planning with attention that we are coming on a Safari our kids. When we arrived in Tanzania from the first sight to the end we real enjoyed everything our biggest dream was seeing all of the big 5 and on the second day we did it, our dream came true a big thanks to our guide John he always listened, showed us all of the animals and he always took care of our kids. All of the accomodations were superb all of them with the pool as we requested. We would happily recommend this agency to anyone looking for a Safari in Africa.
Thank you! Everyone at Sensation of Africa.

Attentive and trustworthy
5/5

We went to Amboseli first and stayed in lovely tented camp Tortilis , with a beautiful view and a great cook. Then to Tsavo west were we stayed in Lions Bluff, all renovated, expensive, but fantastic what a view! When you are a bird watcher Tsavo is great, but there is not as much wild life as in Masai Mara. The tour guide Simon knew a lot about wild life and birds.
Africa flash tours were all the way attentive, on time, did what they promised and even brought my forgotten hat days later to the house.
In one word what a great time we had!
