Outstanding Customer Service
5/5

All our transfers were by Khanondo Safaris. All the staff we came in contact with were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our stay in Vic Falls was superb. Our special thanks go especially to Tendai who on our last night, realising that the flight had been rescheduled, offered to come and pick us up even though it was his day off. We would also want to thank Simon, who I got in touch with when I discovered that the transport to the airport had not been changed to show the new flight times. Simon went out of her way, texting me early hours making sure we had somebody to take us to the airport. Keep up the good work Khanondo Safaris! We look forward to our next trip.

Awesome service from Bonfire Adventures
5/5

Our Travel agent was not only informative but very patient. I was booking this package together with my wife and Maureen was very patient. We kept on changing the camp and she explained to us and helped to choose Keekorok lodge. This hotel is at the heart of Maasai mara and we had a good time.
Our guide James was a good driver guide who explained to us about animals, about maasai culture and we went to maasai village where we enjoyed a fire lighting training and maasai culture.

I will definitely want to travel to other destinations later and make sure my family and i get James as our tour Guide.

More than expected services
5/5

Bright safaris Uganda are brilliant and different from other tour companies in Uganda,
when most people wish to go to Uganda for a safaris it's the animals that draws the attention and motivated but when you leave the country after a good tour with professionals bright safaris especially Meddy the greatest experience you keep in your memories is the cultural meeting, the people you meet and interact with on the tour bright safaris you get both.
thanks you so much Meddy for being a good friend to us.

Amazing Recent Ten Day Kilimanjaro Climb, Northern Circuit, including night inside Crater!
5/5

I booked a private solo Kilimanjaro climb, that was completely organized by African Jackal owners Martin and Mage, and Dickson Lyimo, the guide. We communicated frequently by phone and email to plan my desired itinerary, and they were supportive in every way, including my desire to climb the final ascent in daylight instead of at night, and to camp overnight inside the crater after summiting. They took care of my safety (Mt. Meru Hotel staff followed corona precautions, wore masks and had handwashing stations on the grounds, and on the climb they carried an oxygen cylinder, that we didn't need to use as I had NO altitude symptoms), and comfort at every stage. I had a support team of nine porters, chef, assistant guide who also did photography for me, and all led by the experienced (500 previous Kilimanjaro climbs) and capable Dickson Lyimo, who chose and supervised the team.

I reached the summit on the 8th day of my climb, on 15 July 2021, which was my 68th birthday....and the amazing chef had made a birthday cake that was brought out at the summit! Then, my team broke a trail down a snow crusted cliff, and we camped at the bottom, inside the crater. Next day I did a side hike to some of the glaciers in the crater, before our hike back out to the crater rim, and down in 2 days.

The team were solicitous of my every need, interviewed me about what food I wanted, urged me to eat more, made it easy for me to drink at rest stops by bringing me my water bottle as I sat on a boulder, and always had my pup tent and toilet tent set up already when we arrived at the next camp site.

Tourism is suffering due to coronavirus....but Tanzania keeps tourists safe (masks on airlines, handwashing, and distancing)...and does not require quarantine on arrival. Mountain hiking is one of the safest activities one can do! So, if you can get to Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and taken care of and kept safe by the solicitous hosts and crew of African Jackal, and experience a wonderful climb (or safari) without, for now, the usual crowds.

I live Shirati, Tanzania, near Lake Victoria. African Jackal has brought many visitors here to Shirati from Arusha, across Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The visitors have uniformly had good experiences and are full of praise for how they were received and hosted in a personal and friendly way. I would not hesitate to recommend African Jackal to any interested person. I plan to do future climbs of Kilimanjaro, trying other routes...and I plan to go with African Jackal.

SAFARI BLISS
5/5

“There is something about safari life that makes you forget all your sorrows and feel as if you had drunk half a bottle of champagne — bubbling over with heartfelt gratitude for being alive.” - Karen Blixen. Thank you, Darryl! You were the champagne on my safari: I just had to pack and arrive at the airstrip to be whisked away from it all on an adventure!

We had an incredible safari to the Maasai Mara arranged by Wild Coast Air Safaris. The personal service provided by Darryl was great from start to finish. He communicated all arrangements re flight departure times, facilities at camp, game drive options, availability of hot air balloon, bush dinner and Maasai Village visit add-ons clearly.

Our flight was super comfortable, and even though I know Darryl couldn't arrange it as such, we had such an incredible view of Mount Kilimanjaro en route to the Mara - always special! We were treated to a 10 minute scenic flight over the Maasai Mara and had the opportunity to see elephant, zebra, giraffe, hippo, crocodiles and 1000's of wildebeest from the air. Magical!

We absolutely loved the gorgeous family suite at the Mara Crossings Camp and the service, hospitality and food were all beyond our expectations. Game drives were arranged according to our preference and we had a super knowledgeable guide. There was an issue with the amount of vehicles available, and even though it was really a "camp" problem, Darryl quickly arranged a vehicle and driver from another camp to accommodate the 3 families at camp to each have their "own" vehicle. All-in-all, Darryl arranged an unforgettable safari for our family and I would highly recommend him.

We look forward to our next adventure with Wild Coast Air Safaris!

Highly Recommended
5/5

I will highly recommend Wild Gaze Safari to all travelers that want to have a remarkable trip to Tanzania. They organized a wonderful trip to Mikumi, Ruaha and Selous National Parks that we have just returned from. The trip was filled with exciting wildlife tracking in the reliable 4x4 jeep, boat trips along river Rufiji & Ruaha and walking excursions. I am happy that Wild Gaze Safaris is engaged in responsible tourism giving part of the proceeds to support education and women in the local communities. There are numerous highlights during the 6 days of our safari with Nurdin who is an expert safari guide and a humorous person.
Thank you Wild Gaze Safaris for an incredible time in Tanzania.

It was an amazing experience, everything went well according to the itinerary. Even with the sanitary circumstances, Nelson was really professional and succeeded to manage my 5 days/4 nights budget Safari.
The Drive guide was surprising as he always found the best spots to see wildlife.
The food was nice and the accommodations in accordance to the plan.
Beautiful experience without any issues, go without doubt !!

Sundowner Cruise on Zambezi River (Zimbabwe)
5/5

We booked some trips through VictoriaFallsguide.net and they in turn facilitated the various bookings with the different providers, who of which were with Khanondo Safaris: the Sunset DINNER Cruise and a Walk With The Elephants.

What friendly staff, super professional, really well done!

Will most certainly book with these guys again when next in Victoria Falls.

Anyone considering booking a tour through them can rest assured, their service and attention to detail is impeccable!

Well worth it.

One of the best experiences i had in my life
5/5
The service and the communications were very good, you get a lot of information about the animals and the food you get is really good.
You are sleeping in Tends in the Serengeti which is a great experience.
I have seen the "big five" on a three day Safari and all the other animals you can imagine.
