Exellent Safari and Guide!!
5/5

The driver drove safely and the expert guide in the park was very kind.
The guide immediately found the animals we wanted to meet, drove us there and gave us all necessary explanations during the safari.
It was a wonderful experience to meet elephants, giraffes, impalas, zebras and lions in the nature and see their lives. I have never seen before too close and live animals like this. I would like to go again if I have the opportunity.

Mussa is the man if you are looking for a great experienced guide who can give you a once in a life!
5/5

When I decided to take a once in a lifetime Safari trip to Africa, we were a bit hesitant with planning things on my own. I did not personally know anyone who had taken such a trip and so I were flying blind.
However, when I initially reaching out to a couple of tour companies in Tanzania and Wild Excursions & Safaris , were very responsive and we began planning my trip with them in November of 2021. They assisted me every step of the way, allowing me to modify the length of my trip and added excursions as we went. I never felt pressured that they were trying to upsell me, they truly allowed me to dictate what my vacation would look like and focused on my needs. As it wasn’t on my budget to do it alone they suggested a group tour would be fantastic, I can say I was speechless.
Anyways, We ended up on an eight day safari which more than exceeded my expectations in every way. Every Wild Excursions & Safaris representative treated us so well, with such kindness and grace.
The accommodations were all straight out of a travel magazines, allowing for both the tented glamping experience as well as secluded luxury hotels. As good as that all was, our guide Mussa made the experience for us. He was professional, gracious, tolerant of our desire to sometimes change course midstream and he was THE best animal spotter. We saw different kinds of animals, more in volume of each species, and more up close views than we ever anticipated. There were many times Mussa would hear of a sighting of a rare animal like a leopard or cheetah and turn our 4 x4 Jeep on a dime to get to the spot so we wouldn’t miss an opportunity. Mussa’s knowledge of each park and where to find the animals allowed us to maximize our time. The crossing of the Wildebeest at the River Mara was a highlight and he positioned and waited and anticipated the migration so well we literally had a front row seat for thousands crossing. Although we were in Tanzania during their busiest season we always felt well taken care of and were never forced to wait or waste time. Our guide took care of everything from checking us in to each hotel, to helping us negotiate with the locals for souvenirs . I cannot recommend Wild Excursions & Safaris strongly enough...

Very professional, deep knowledge of the nature
5/5

This tour was really impressive. Guide knew exactly which place to visit at what time, managed to catch all possible animals for us, explained a lot about nature diversity. We could even feel that due to his long term experience in the park, he had kind of intimacy with the animals, especially recognizing and naming the lion males, with some interesting stories for each… Warmly recommanded tour!

Trusted and perfect experience

Prompt responses from Alex to organise the whole Safari. 8 days with the plan and accommodations and even modification to be dropped in Diani Beach to continue our holidays.

We read on guides that the driver can make good or bad your safari. We were extremely lucky to have John Walter. He was a great professional. Knowledgeable about all the wildlife and always capable of solving any problem. All safaris have situations and he was so good at figuring out what to do.

We saw all the Big Five, the big cats and much more.

Booking from far it is always a bit unclear but i recommend them.

As you may know planning a Safari requires a lot of research and creates a lot of questions…. Before choosing what is good for you. Well on this I can ensure you that S.A.S went above and beyond to provide as much information as I could possibly intake and even went above and beyond helping me in planning the remaining of my vacation on a kitesurfing adventure! They are 1000 reliable, ready to help at any time with logistic issues or anything you could ask for . The guide that we had not only took care of us but treated us like family and ended up becoming a friend . It was easy to feel privileged while traveling along with them as every little requests we had was taking care of. We opted for kenya and it did not disappoint! The Masai Mara was simply a must and we ended up taking our own road away from the rest of the crowd until the sundown, which was nothing else then magical ! Honestly, if you want to have a stress free safari from the planning to the end of your trip … Choose them :) thanks Nyix, Aaron and all ! From us

Would definitely recommend to others

Our driver John was very punctual, knowledgeable, accommodating and made sure our safety and capturing memorable photos were priority. Mara Lenchada camp was rustic, outdoorsy living with a team who took care of our needs. Helen and her staff made sure we were comfortable, fed (local cuisine Only) and had hot water for showering. Electricity is only available in early morning and late evening hours so take backup power sources and lantern if necessary, no electrical outlets in the tents, pack snacks + earplugs if you're easily startled and be prepared for early morning game drives.

We saw all the Big 5 animals and more while touring the Massai Mara in their natural habits and were more than satisfied with the experience. The 4x4 jeep was comfortable and kept us safe while offering adequate access to view everything in a 360 degree direction.

If possible, pack some stuff (snacks, stationery items, small gifts, etc) to donate to the kids at the nearby massai village and school - very memorable experience. Souvenirs made by the ladies of the village will also be on sale. Donations are accepted.

Lanet Matfam Resort and Dove Nest Lodge took us back to hotel living with Kenyan decor and hospitable staff.

Touring Nakuru National Park gave us opportunity to see flamingos among other birds, both the black and endangered white rhinoceros, Columbus monkeys, leopards, giraffes and more!

You have the option of seeing Hells gate National park either by walking, cycling Or via the confines of your transportation. A visit crescent Island for boat ride where you watch hippos plus other wild animals is recommended!

You will not be disappointed!
