Bait and switch!!! Lier!!! Find a different safari operator!!!
Afrishare does not even rate one star!
Let me start by telling you that I am in the charter business and very familiar with bad tour operations. We did a seven day private tour in 4 parks. The Masai Marain in Kenya The Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire in Tanzania.
If Abrahim Juma Mkwizuthe (the owner) lips we’re moving he was lying, He lied about vehicles, time spent in wildlife parks, accommodations, travel times, and what was included in his advertised package. On your website!
Meet and great at the airport upon arrival in Nairobi Kenya to meet our driver and taken to our hotel. Afrishare did not show. We had to get a taxi. The guide was not informed of our arrival until we were at our hotel.
The drivers were great but the vehicles were junk, absolutely trash, you could not see out the windows, the seats were not functional, not safari vehicles, one was a 20 plus year old two wheel drive van with no working Vhf. bald tires. The radios that professional operators use to communicate with other drivers to locate the animals. We were sent pictures of new safari vehicles that we would be in, these were not the ones provided. You had to lay the seat back to see out of the window! And could not see out the front! I cannot imagine if there were more than my wife and I in the vehicle.
Once deposit was made Accommodations that we’re advertised in the park we’re now fully booked and unavailable Afrishare replaced these with inferior lodging outside the park. Afrishare then saved money by having the driver do a game drives outside the park, therefore only having to pay for one day in Serengeti park, not two as advertised saving park entrance fees ( anyway this man could cheat you out of a dollar he would)
Travel times between masía Mara park and Serengeti 5 hours turned into 11 hours on the road in a beat up old dusty truck going down washboard back trails at 10 to 20 mph. We could not look out window without laying the seat at a 45 degree angle, then no time for game drive, regardless we did not stay in park.
Driving between saringett and Ngorongoro he took us down backroads where Afrishare wasted time so he would only pay for one day in crater park fees
Promised a full day in Ngorongoro crater we maybe got 3 hours in the bottom as we had to be outside the park by 1 in the afternoon so he did not have to pay park fees.
Afrishare promised a 7 Days safari inside these wonderful parks! He only paid park fees for 4 and a half days, pocketing the remaining entrance fees! We were asked to leave as early as 5 in am to accommodate him saving money on park fees!
Afrishare should not be able to advertise on your website, he gives Africa, it’s wonderful parks, animals and it’s great people a bad name!
Shame on him!

Patrick, our guide, was knowledgeable, experienced and a damned good driver.
Gundua organized excellent accommodation, some in permanent lodges, some tented. All were spotless, in tiptop condition, and safe. We viewed countless wildebeest crossing the Mara, travelled on a network of roads in the Serengeti and Ngorogoro, experienced a wonderful thunderstorm and ate delicious meals wherever we were. Gundua's vehicles are comfortable and well maintained. What abundance and variety of wildlife Tanzania offers. Well worth the visit,

Amazing
I had an amazing tour with Kefar during my Gorilla trekking. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide, and he made this trip an unforgettable experience. I close Ngoni safaris because of their very good google and tripadvsior reviews, and I did not regret about it. They really deserve these good reviews. They are very professional and helpful. Their response time was very quick and they also arranged everything very quickly. I really recommend everyone to do a trip in Uganda with Ngoni Safaris and ask for Kefar as a guide l, because he was the best guide I had in Africa!

Amazing. Thanks to our guide’s experience we have seen many animals. The food was really good and tasteful every time (they also manage food allergies)

Uncommunicative, was very good, no longer will I use them
I have used this company 5 times, the first 3 times were wonderful. Liselle Ratth was our agent and she was fabulous. During and after covid, our booked trip for 2021 was handled by Brett Thomson. He did not communicate in a timely manner, which made us very nervous. However, the trip in September 2021 went very well. We had another trip planned for June/July of 2022 and it did NOT go well. Email questions took days, if not weeks for an answer. Sometimes we never did get an answer. The first lodge on our trip went very well, during our stay there we received an email from the next lodge in Zimbabwe telling us that our stay was cancelled due to none payment by Brett. Needless to say we were in shock. Luckily the owner and manager of Nottens Bush Camp (Sabi Sands) took us under their wing and helped us. The catch was that we had to wire the payment directly to the camp, as they would not deal with Brett. This put us out another $7600 US dollars, which we had already paid. Brett assured me that he would be refunded this amount via our credit card. This did NOT go as planned and took over 8 weeks to receive refunds, which were not the same amount as we wired to the camp due to exchange rates. This is so unacceptable, he did not pay and we were out extra money. I can only image if the guests did not have an extra $7600 cash to pay the camp...would we have been out of luck? I do not recommend using this company...

A very attentive, caring and responsible tour operator who made our safari experience wonderful.
Fantastic experience. Very well organised from the first moment to the end of the safari trip. Anthony answered all our doubts and questions very quickly and clearly. Our guide during the 5 days was kind, nice, caring and friendly. He made us feel very comfortable and we learned a lot from his stories.
The accommodation was amazing. The staff in all the camps and lodges where we slept was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious!
Thank you very much, Anthony and Cross to Africa Safari. We'd like to repeat it as soon as possible again.

Amazing 7 days safari trip
We spent 7 days and 6 nights visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro e Lake Maniara. We can say just one world: AMAZING. Our guide was Andrew. He is a very experienced guide and a good driver, he is very polite and super nice: We think he is the best guide you can find! Finding animals can depend on weather, period of the year, moment of the day and luck, of course, but if an animal is around, for sure he will find it! Our chef was Sule: he is a really good chef, ready to satisfy our needs and preferences. And maybe you won't believe it, but he even bakes fresh bread every day! Also Bartho, the owner of the company, was really honest and serious and everything gone as by agreeements. We had read many 5/5 reviews for Serengeti Wakanda before our tour began and we can't do anything different now that we lived this wonderful experience. We really recommend this company and this special trip! Thank you very much!

Excellent service and amazing locations in Tanzania
Thanx to Covid19 our trip was delayed by a couple of years, but it was well worth the wait. First of all, the service we got when we started planning our trip was so good. We had a home visit from Tanzania Explorer (Sondre) that was so positive and informative. Et was an easy choice to pick them as our safari organizer. The places they picked out for us to visit were all amazing. Hondo Hondo at Udzungwa forrest was great, with baboons running around the camp site. The walk up to the waterfall, with swimming, was very interresting and hot. Bring a fresh t-shirt for the trip back down :-) The highpoint of the trip was without a doubt Ruaha and the Ruaha River Lodge. We had hippos, crocodiles and lions just outside our cabin/tent. Out in the park we saw giraffes, zebra, lions, crocodiles, buffalo, leopard and more. We had a fantastic driver/guide that made sure we got to see all the animals on our bucketlist. We will never forget our days on safari.
After the safari we spent a week at Zanzibar. Tanzania Explorer helped us arrange deep sea fishing one very early morning. We got a very nice White Snapper and we got to see whales, dolfins and a beautiful ocean sunrise. Our last days in Zanzibar was spent in Stone Town, at the coolest hotel ever! Emerson Spice. It is impossible to describe the hotel, so just google it. The architecture, colors, service… just perfect.
We highly recommend Tanzania Explorer. They made our vacation a trip to remember for ever. Thank you.
