Trip of a lifetime!
5/5

Six of us just finished the most amazing trip to Kenya provided by Spirit of Kenya. From pickup at the airport, through several day outings around Nairobi and through our nine day safari, everything was error free. We had planned to do the trip in 2021, but canceled at the last minute due to Covid fears. Their trip planner, Tiago, graciously rebooked the entire trip for this year. Our guide, George, was a flawless driver and had the eyes of an Eagle while on safari, seeing and identifying things that we had difficulty seeing with binoculars. Even though we chose only moderately priced hotels, all of the lodges exceeded our expectations many times over. The people everywhere were so friendly and took such good care of us. Our only complaint is that we all gained weight from all the great food!

Overall rating Kilimanjaro adventure
5/5

The Kilimanjaro day hike via Marangu route was our target after a 4 days safari with Tanzania Go Adventures.

Well experienced guide; Roger is absolutely fantastic guide. During the safari also we had a very good experience of wildlife and cultures especially the MAASAI and HADZABE tribes. Travel and you will learn a lot. I highly recommend this agency for your Tanzania trip.

The best and unforgettable
5/5

We had been planning this family trip with Rama for a long time. In fact, before and after COVID-19 the kids were in college and we had to harmonize all the dates for the four of us. Rama was patient throughout this time and flexible with the travel dates.
Finally we did the six day trip through Selous, Ruaha and Udzungwa national parks followed by five days of relaxation in Zanzibar.
We had an amazing time exploring the beautiful parks with our guide Musa. The nights were spent in great places, it was fabulous.
Zanzibar was special, swimming, snorkeling, Jazoni forest and a very great cultural experience.

Beautiful expérience
5/5

The experience was wonderful with Ali and his team. The guide explained all the animal life to us and stopped each time so that we could take wonderful pictures of the animals. Special mention for Mister T who put us in the mood in the car!

5/5

We happily recommend Ngutu Adventure & Safari. Lord has been very available, and helpful in many ways. The organization was very good : meals were very good, and the lodges were perfect ! Our driver, Paul, was amazing and really made our trip. His English was perfect, and his experience and knowledge were impressive. We had a great time, thank you.

Karina booked an amazing tour and was very professional and responsive throughout the process.
5/5

We just got back from South Africa and miss it already. Our trip was the best vacation I’ve had up to date. When booking a trip for Africa who knows where to start. I recommend Karina at Safari Online. She probably learn reading this review that I was in discussion with 2 other African Tour Operators when initially planning. Not only was Karina more responsive than then others. Her trip was the best value as well. For example, Karina planned a safari that was a 3 star lodge (Baobob) and a 5 star lodge (Simbabelli). The quotes from the other companies were the same price but included only a 3 star accommodation and 3-4 star accommodation. If I would’ve went with the competitor I would’ve missed out on the luxury service and accommodations Simbambelli provided.

As for the trip itself we went for 11 nights.

We flew into JHB and stayed at an awesome B&B- Sunrock Gueshouse. Place was awesome. Has everything you need. If you’re like us and only staying for one night the last thing you want to do is have to leave the BB to go get food or what not. Food was good and the setup was even better as the owners run the bar and are down to party or have a great conversation.

We flew from Hoeduspruit to Kruger the next day where we stayed at Baobab Ridge for three nights. Our room was awesome as it’s faces the watering hole. About 30 elephants came through during the day which we viewed from our personal balcony.

We had a two hour drive to Samambelli. The drive itself was interesting as we drove through some poverty stricken areas.

We arrived to Sabi sands our accommodations were next level. Definite 5 star feeling from the moment we arrived. Are room was magnificent as well as the public area. The food was amazing as well.

At both lodges we saw the “big five”. Leopards are more prone in Sabi sands. Elephants and giraffes were always around. We had the pleasure of seeing rhinos and lions. It was just amazing.

We finished the trip three nights in Capetown. It’s a cool city but if I had to do again I would’ve kept on the safari trek and flew to Victoria falls or another safari in a different country.

Overall this trip was a 10/10.

Awesome; everything we had hoped for and more
5/5

We took the 16 day accommodated Game Tracker through South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. We enjoyed every day of our trip. It was our first safari and so everything was new to us; we never tired of seeing the birds and animals and even just driving though the countryside.

Our guides Chris and Joseph were outstanding. They always gave us a briefing about what to expect the next day, after dinner in the evening. They provided a wealth of information about the birds, animals, the culture and the landscape and even the economies of the countries we visited.

We had a nice mix off meals in lodges/restaurants and meals made by the guides. Everything was delicious and by and large very healthy as well. While we were in Okavango, we had koodoo (farmed, not wild) stew.

The lodges selected by Sunway were great- very comfortable and they usually had very nice grounds that were good for bird watching.

Some of the restaurants are still learning about the logistics of serving customers and getting them their bills. But the guides are aware of this and so we usually placed our orders ahead of time so there were not long delays getting our meals.

We absolutely detest camping, so we were not big fans of the accommodation in the Okavango Delta. If you like camping, it would be great. But anyway, we loved the whole Okavango experience. It was definitely worth any shortcomings with the accommodation.

The local guides selected by Sunway for the most part were excellent. for example, our guide for Thebes River in Botswana seemed to know exactly how to position the boat and the safari vehicle to get the best pictures.

Our favourite parts of the trip were the Thebes River cruise and game drive and the salt pan (for the birds).

The vehicle we used to get from venue to venue was called the red elephant. It is a custom designed truck. The seating was comfortable and you got good views from the windows. We always had snacks available, mostly local fruits.

Of course what everyone goes on a safari for is the animals. We got great views of lions, buffalo, hippos, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, koodoos, impala, monkeys and much more in many of the places we visited.

The Sunway trip was great value and we would definitely consider another trip with Sunway

Excellent Safari with amazing crew
5/5

We chose the 3 day Safari with Suricata Safaris and it was just perfect!
All the staff was amazing doing all possible to make us happy, confortable and enjoying our trip.
We booked everything by email with Hilary, which was very responsive and quick to reply to all of our questions.
The day before we met Ally at the hotel who reveived us and explained all the details. Very helpfull and super nice.
On the Safari we had a great chef, Tito, who cooked fresh food daily. And Florid, our driver was just amazing, we saw a lol of animals and he took us to places to see the big 5! It was amazing. The camp sites had awesome views and it was really cool to sleep so close to wild animals like zebras.
The transport to and from the hotel was included and the hotel where we stayed had amazing staff as well, including Lucia which really helped us a lot.
Overall it was a great experience! Would recommend Suricata Safaris to anyone who wants to do a Safari and wants to be well treated and welcomed in Tanzania. Thank you to all the crew!!
