Amazing organized
5/5

We have dreamed of seeing the African wildlife for a long time. We became aware of Tanzania through friends of ours and then of suricata through a recommendation. We booked a 7 day camping safari and loved it from the start. All questions were answered quickly beforehand. And the safari itself is super organized. The cars are very good and comfortable and the campsites are well equipped. We had a great guide who showed us the impressive wildlife. And at every meal we had a fantastic meal. The food was delicious, always freshly prepared and varied. Special thanks to Lewis as our guide and Pius as our chef. You both were amazing! We can clearly recommend Suricata Safari.

Fabulous
5/5

we were in Kenya for a short period, and o decided to do a safari before we flew back home, and i found Native Afrika Voyages. after a few emails we settled on 3 days safari with my boyfriend since we didn't have much time.
we went to Maasai Mara and lake Naivasha on our way back. We had great time, and we were able to see 4 out of the big 5 our guide made sure we were at the right position for photos. On the second day we went on a full day safari, we drove to the Maasai river for the crocodiles and to see where the wildebeest cross the river during the migration.
Looking forward to coming back for a longer safari.
Asante Sana!!! Native Afrika Voyages.

Pamela & her team were extremely cooperative and hardworking!
5/5

We had people ageing from 8-94 years and Pamela, Peter, James & Eric were extremely caring and hospitable. They helped with supporting the aged physically to mobilizing even their wheelchairs. the properties we stayed at were very well positioned with all facilities. We thank them and wish them luck for their fututre endevours. Will surely reccommend them to all our friends and peers.

Don’t select, we were left stranded twice with independent drivers that did not know our itinerary.
2/5

We are experienced travelers who generally don’t mind small hiccups or slight plan changes. However, we experienced many issues on this safari that were unacceptable. No matter what tour agency you select, you will see the animals and the landscapes. If you don’t want those memories clouded by stress, uncertainty, and worry, pick a more reputable tour agency. This is not a professional outfit.

We were dropped off at multiple locations that didn’t match our provided itinerary with no Wi-Fi / service to contact the agency. In one instance, the next driver showed up 15 hours late. There was a lack of information and transparency that left us feeling unsafe, vulnerable, and stranded. We paid extra for a 4x4 Jeep but spent half of our time in various small sedans. We were not able to drive to one of the parks due to this.

A flat tire is reasonable and common. However, setting off on a three-day safari in the Serengeti with a damaged, leaking radiator is negligent and unsafe. We were stranded for two hours because the engine overheated and had to make several other stops to check on the vehicle throughout the tour.

Despite paying for an all-inclusive (planned) safari, we had independent or sub-contracted drivers who were not aware of our itinerary —including what parks we were to visit, where we were staying and the logistics of our next (unexpected) hand-offs. These drivers also didn’t have our information and we were forced to trust they were somehow affiliated with the company.

In one specific incident, a driver had no idea what our final destination was or where we were staying. This driver attempted to pick up friends along the way until we demanded to be taken to our accommodation. He didn’t know this accommodation, so we told him to take us to the accommodation we stayed in before we departed for the park where we knew we would have access to Wi-Fi to call for help. We then had to go to the new accommodation that was not on our provided itinerary.

Other issues we experienced:

1. Our accommodations didn’t match those listed on our itinerary and we were never provided with an updated version.
2. None of the jeeps were affiliated with Okoa Tours or the Tanzanian counterpart called Seven Wonders, despite other legitimate companies having branded vehicles.
3. All jeeps’ were older than the pictures provided and the charging outlets did not work as described.

After the tour we reached out to Okoa and they responded “But as far as the Kenya side nothing went wrong” because we arrived at the 3 listed parks.

Completely Disorganized and No Transparency
1/5

We booked a combined Kenya-Tanzania safari through Okoa Africa Safari (Kenya operator). We were dropped off at the border, and Seven Wonders picked up the Tanzania portion of our tour.

Our tour was nothing but the best. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and most professional. He took care of every little detail up to a wine of choice for our safari picnic. I would totally recommend to all our friends who will be going to safari.

An unforgettable Safari with Explorers Wild Adventures - 10/10!
5/5

Our 6-day safari to Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli with Explorers Wild Adventures was everything we hoped for and so much more.
My boyfriend and I planned the safari from Germany and while this can be a quite difficult process, Johann Mwale from Explorers Wild Adventures helped us during every step of the way. He recommended different safari options to us: budget, mid-range and luxury. We decided for the mid-range option as it was offering beautiful lodges and a PRIVATE safari for an excellent price. Communication with Johann was always quick and excellent. On our side, we also had some trouble with the bank transfer. However, Johann was very kind and helpful in this situation.
On the day our safari started, we were picked up by Johar (John) who is the best driver and guide we could wish for. If possible, we highly recommend to do your own tour with him. He is very knowledgeable, patient, kind and always goes the extra mile to give his clients the best experience. Thanks to him we saw all of the Big 5 and many more animals on our tour. We are very grateful to the Explorer Wild Adventures-Team and will definitely choose them for our next safari in Kenya again without hesitation. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation!

IT FELT LIKE HOME!
5/5

My safari experience with Mufasa Tours and Travel was my best travel experience to date. I have been to 30 countries and nothing can compare to being home in The Motherland. Polly did an amazing job with my safari planning and ensured that everything logistically went well. She has far exceeded my expectations.

I did the 2 Day Masai Mara Safari with this company and managed to see all of the animals that I desired to see. Hosea was my tour guide and he was the absolute best! His personality, knowledge, awareness, and sense of humor made my experience fun and safe.

I stayed at the Zebra Plains Boutique Tented Camp and it was nothing short of amazing from the time I checked in to my departure.

I am forever grateful for Mufasa Tours and looking forward to planning future safari experiences with them.

Hakuna Matata with Safari Avventura
5/5

Our honeymoon was made even more special thanks to Safari Avventura. The attention to detail shown by the organizer Gianluca made us feel pampered especially during our 4 day safari between Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Helpfulness and friendliness of the guide Elias Muro certainly made the difference. Not only that, the facilities we stayed in were really great. Farm of dreams, Embalakai Camp and Marera Lodge, all three very valid structures, among which we preferred the Embalakai that we like to define as a pearl in the middle of the Serengeti. Every day, in the middle of the savannah, we enjoyed delicious traditional food prepared by the structures where we were staying, sitting at the table complete with plates, glasses, cutlery and everything else that can be used for a relaxing lunch. With the guide we also saw every type of animal that can come to mind imagining the scenarios of the savannah: cheetahs, leopards, lions, cubs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, hippos, gazelles, impalas, dig dig, baboons, chimpanzees , storks, vultures, eagles, hyenas, an ocelot and even a rhino although from a distance. It would be impossible to move around the parks without a competent guide who knows where to find animals according to the season. Thank you Elias for letting us live this wonderful experience and for your good Italian which made everything more enjoyable. Thanks to Safari Adventure that he organized all the transfers to and from the airport, as well as the transfers between one structure and another in which we also slept on the island of Zanzibar. Everything happened exactly as written in the program, so we strongly recommend that you contact this agency to find safety, availability and competence.
We hope to be able to arrange a trip with you to this paradise soon.
