Very knowledgeable and friendly!
The tour was very informative. The family at the homestead was welcoming and we had adequate time to ask questions. It is a great opportunity to learn more about the culture outside of the touristy areas.

Best tour ever
We had an amazing time with Wakanda Tours. Everything was just perfect. We had an amazing tour guide (Andrew) and an awesone chef (Idris); they made our trip the most exciting adventure. The tour is pretty well organized, the accomodation was comfortable and clean; the food was excelent; and the price is affordable. We recommend this tour 100%.

Excellent experience with a friendly and truly professional team
Best safari experience ever! After reading all the 5 stars reviews on TripAdvisor we had no doubts that African Big Cats Safaris will be the perfect choice, but we were astonished by the professionalism of the company! We met with the manager Emmanuel on our first day, who gave us an excellent overview of our trip and helped us with any questions that we had. Our tour guide, who is also named Emmanuel, picked us up from the airport and was one of the friendliest person we have ever met from that very first moment until we said our goodbyes (and even after). He took us to the shop so we can buy some necessities on the first day and was always listening if we had any special queries. He is extremely well-informed about the history of Tanzania, the fauna and flora of the country and he was always sharing interesting facts with us. Not only did we have an excellent safari experience but we also learned a lot about the country, and for this we are really grateful!
Our trip included Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater and we choose the camping option. It was so much more than we expected! Beautiful scenery, closeness to the wild life, and the camping is really a must! The first night we were in a lodge, then the second night in a closed camping area, but the third night we were in the Ngorongoro reserve where giraffes, zebras and antilops were walking close by. It gets really cold at Ngorongoro, especially at night, so warm clothing is necessary!
During the game drives we saw a great number of interesting animals, including mammals and birds. We brought binoculars with us and it was really great as it allowed us to see some of the animals from really close. Emmanuel always noticed the animals from far away, stopped and shared informations about them with us while we were looking at them. We saw some interesting actions as well, such as a buffalo chasing the lions, lions playing with their cubs and a lioness going on a hunt. Emmanuel knew where to wait for the lions, and what to look out for.
I also want to mention our cook, Vitalis who cooked amazing meals for us and allowed us to taste some well prepared local cuisine! The presentation of the meals was always excellent, we were served breakfast and dinner at the camp site, and warm lunch during the game drives. We always had warm tea and coffee with our meals, fresh fruits and we really appreciated the warm soup in the cold Ngorongoro reserve!
We also booked a Masai village visit for our last day, which was trully a memorable experience! We were included in their welcome dance and they showed us their way of living.
Thank you African Big Cats for this amazing experience!

Simon Peter was an amazing guide, trip was once in lifetime for me and he made it all come true
Simon Peter and John were so easy to get along with had great sense of humour. Found animals each outing and I always felt safe in the vehicles used for Safari’s. These two guides are a credit to the company they work for and we’re always there to please us as travellers and I like to think we became friends over the time we were together

Raw Beauty
We went to Tanzania for 5 days safari with Suricata Safaris and then spent another week in Zanzibar. I would say that although that it is quite pricey, it was the best holiday we ever took. We saw so much wildlife during the safari from Day 1. The scenery is just breathtaking. The accommodation was great with really good food. The people are all so nice and welcoming. In Zanzibar there wasn't much to do but the beaches were absolutely great and so unspoilt.

Gorillas and Chimpanzees
A good destination for Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking has the experience was a lot better than expected and the parks were well managed has not to get overrun and the people were warm and friendly throughout and Bamboo Ecotours made this a very memorable trip. For birders we recommend a trip to Mabamba swamp Lake Victoria to see the shoebill storks and plentiful bird life.

Perfect for wildlife Safari, multicultural full of life cities, really nice people.
You really can feel and see how climate changes are affecting the world.
You can really get to know kenians and reflect on how basic is not always warranted.

What made it was seeing the tree climbing lions, elephants lots of Ugandan job and other antelope and the boat trip on the kazinga channel for lots of hippos and crocodiles
