Affordable Sharing Safari in Tanzania
5/5

The tour guides were entertaining, flexible, and knowledgeable. The group size was ideal. I was grateful for the time we had to explore Siringeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire.
Meijo Safaris is the company to trust and contact if you are looking for affordable tours.

Kilimanjaro Climbing with the best team.
5/5

My uncle and I recently returned from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Meijo Tanzania Safaris in Feb, and everything went even better than I could have imagined! The planning, the setup of the camping tents, and, most importantly, the professionalism of the team that supported us from the start of the Machame Route up to the summit! Especially Charles and Emma, the Mountain guides! Beyond the route expertise, I could see as a doctor that they truly knew what they were doing for our health control, especially because my uncle was 62 years old and reached the Gilmann's point with their help. Meijo Safaris is highly recommended by me.

Brilliant experience - really recommend!
5/5

We had an amazing time on the four day Coastal and Sossusvlei tour! Oshili were professional throughout, from the initial booking through to the tour itself. The itinerary covered everything that we were looking for, including good accommodation and fun activities. The Sandwich Harbour tour was definitely a highlight! Granville's local knowledge and good company also really added to the experience. I would really recommend Oshili for anyone looking to explore this beautiful country!!!

Excellent experience in 4 nature reserves in 2 countries.
5/5

I’m a fairly seasoned visitor to Africa, and lead a trip for myself and 5 friends. We specifically wanted to go to Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Kilimanjaro for 6 people over 9 days.

When reaching out to different safari companies, we were told our trip couldn’t be done. We were always offered an alternative itinerary visiting places we didn’t want to see with a ridiculous price tag.

It appeared to me, many of these companies were operating out of the countries we wanted to visit, and were owned by foreigners. It was important to me to get the trip I asked for, and to support a local African company.

African Sunset Safaris offered a fair price for the exact trip I requested. Haron Gashao was extremely prompt to answer every question I had on WhatsApp, and his team of all local Kenyans and Tanzanians we great. The standout was our Tanzanian guide, Geoffrey Godwin, who guided us for most of our trip was most excellent.

Over the course of 9 days, we only experience a few minor hick-ups. All in all, everything ran smoothly, and the safari vehicles never let us down.

During our experience, we saw - 24 lions, 11 cheetah, 4 leopard and 1 serval cat. We also saw hundreds of elephants and other mammal, birds, reptiles and amphibians.

We were given several options for lodging, and chose the following lodges for our trip - Sarova Mara Lodge, Serengeti Safari Lodge, Bougainville Safari Lodge and Mille Salinero Lodge. The standout was Serengeti Safari lodge. At first sight the main lodge was rundown, but the wall tents were stunning, clean and had brilliant views. Additionally the lodge staff at Serengeti Safari Lodge were the best we experienced.

If you are clear with Haron about what you want, and are equally clear about your expectations, you will have an excellent trip with African Sunset Safaris

This Excursion was the best thing I did in Nairobi. I really enjoyed our conversation with the driver he is very knowledgeable about what he does. He was also very funny I would love to do this next time and I would recommend this to anyone.

Sensational
5/5

It truly is a "rigth choice". From the contacts during the planning, the reception at the airport, daily punctuality in the tours. Excellent guide, Lorenzo, with a lot of knowledge about animals, and their characteristics in the savanna, and tireless in the search for the best moments, groups of animals and positions for photos. I really recommend it a lot.

Thanks to Silas and all his team for the great experience and for making our safari perfect. Silas immediately proved to be available, to listen and flexible in satisfying our needs. The whole organization was flawless from start to finish and we were lucky enough to observe a large number of animals. Again a big thank you to the team, and I wish you the best in these difficult times for everyone.

Even better than expected!
5/5

Walter and our guide Lawrence made our safari in Tanzania a complete success, exceeding our expectations. During the preparation of the trip, Walter responds quickly to the messages, which is more than appreciable, he is very good advice because he masters the routes perfectly. He was waiting for us at the arrival airport despite the late hour.
Lawrence is erudite, inexhaustible on all animals and patient as we pestered him with questions. He drives like a gentleman on bumpy tracks, which is very appreciable, his English is fluent, it is very pleasant to converse with him. He knows the right spots to ensure his passengers see everything they dream of. For our part, with the exception of the pandas (sorry Lawrence!! ;-)) we saw all the animals, he answered all our expectations and requests, flawlessly.
There is no need to go through a intermediate travel agency in your country, go directly through Walter, communication is easy and mutual trust is obvious.

We saw the big 5 and more! Amazing once in a lifetime experience, a must do tour! Unforgettable!
5/5

Wow what an experience with goldfish tours! I am now back in England after a 10 day trip to Tanzania in March 2022. I did 6 days in Zanzibar and then organised a last minute tour with goldfish tours for 4 days.
We did the 4 day, 3 night tour covering tarangire, the Serengeti and ngorogoro crater.
We saw the big 5 and much more with so many priceless memories and photos from our trip

As someone who has travelled around the world and done many tours this has instantly become the best tour and decision I ever made.
I have seen the salt flats in Bolivia, trekked machu pichu in Peru, seen ha long bay in Vietnam, visited lions head in South Africa but nothing compares to the Serengeti. It is a must see destination. I had done small safari in Sri Lanka and South Africa but this was sooo much better in every way

We was hesitant at first to book it as we was having a great time in Zanzibar but once we started the tour I had no regrets. It’s very good value for money as it includes 3 meals a day, all accommodation and entrance prices. Plus 2 guides , Mohammed and Steven

Mohammed and Steven run the company. They set it up 5 years ago. With this tour you get two tour guides, both with great experience and knowledge. They are young, kind and want to do everything to make sure you have a great time.

They picked us up from Arusha at 8.30am and the adventure started straight away. We headed to Tarangire and instantly saw elephants , giraffe , zebra and 2 cheetahs. We then headed to Karatu for a nights sleep.

Up early and heading towards the Serengeti we stopped at Ngorogoro rim for a quick view. The drive was amazing with an en route game seeing thousands of zebra and wildebeest on route.

As we entered the Serengeti we saw female and male lions, hyena, thousands of zebra, hundreds of giraffe and a few hippos.

We then did an evening sunset drive
We stayed at Shuhudia tented lodge and had a very large luxury tent right in the centre of the Serengeti. There was hot water and an excellent dinner. The tent was bigger than any hotel room I’ve stayed in , maybe 500 square foot.

Day 3- we did a 7am to 1pm 6hr game drive in the Serengeti seeing lots of variety of animals. We then had lunch and Steven headed out for another 2.5 hour evening drive around sunset. This was above what we expected and Steven managed to find us 3 different leopards.
The car comes with binoculars for everyone
We then had dinner and went to sleep early ready for our last day

Day 4 was our last day. 5am start to watch sunrise whilst heading from the Serengeti to ngorogoro crater. The early start paid off as we saw hippos outside of their mud pools, hyena running through the Serengeti and then a whole family of cheetah just 2 metres from our car.
The sunrise was stunning and the cheetahs were the highlight of the whole tour.

We reached ngorogoro crater on the hunt for the rhino. We was lucky enough to see 8 rhino during our drive and another male lion. We had lunch by the hippo lake pool with zebra just 10’metres from our car. We then made the long drive to kilmanjaro for our evening flight out.

The 4 day experience was amazing, the best tour I’ve ever done. Mohammed and Steven went above and beyond our expectations to provide us a memorable once in a lifetime experience.

We saw the big 5 and more
In total we saw 10 lions
3 leopards
50+ elephants
100+ water buffalo
8 rhino
7 cheetah
50+ hippos
5 crocodile
50+ giraffe
5 eagles
10,000+ zebras
10,000+ wildebeest

The car was comfortable, we had plugs and usb chargers to charge our phones and cameras, we had a fridge to keep our drinks cool
They had a speaker system to play music or you could play your own.

Steven would stop at any moment if we saw something we wanted to watch or take a photo off.

This tour is a must do, our only regret was not having an extra day to see even more of the crater.
Ngorogoro crater is amazing, reported as the 7th wonder of the natural world.
