I highly recommend Kudu Hills Safaris, it was exactly what I was looking for.
Benard is the owner and he was an excellent guide. He was responsive to feedback, looking to provide all requested (and unrequested) accommodations.
One real bonus was his prowess as a photographer. He took hundreds of pictures and shared them with us. A real added bonus since the only pictures I get of myself are usually posed or selfies, and they don't capture the moment.
He selected comfortable accommodations, and the whole group was pleased.
We went to Maasai Mara, and it is a magical place, and you will certainly enjoy the magic.
I recommend people who really want to experience the wildlife to get a high quality guide like Benard. We saw two prides of lions, cheetahs, and hundreds of elephants and etc. but, not everyone sees lions or cheetahs. Knowledgable guides will give you better chances of seeing the animals you are hoping to see in the wild, and more information about all of the animals you see and what you may be able to expect.
There are no guarantees that can be made, you may be get lucky, but a good guide increases your luck.
Safari means journey, make it an enjoyable one!

Navigating a different culture from one that you are familiar is always a challenge. Losing your luggage in a foreign country is especially challenging.

Amazing, beautiful and breath-taking 3 day tour of Amboseli National Park in Kenya. Joseph Mwangi was our guide. He was knowledgable, insightful, passionate, reliable and a delight as a tour guide. He made sure the entire trip went smoothly and was very flexible with our time schedules. Amboseli was all that and more - vast plains of wildlife from playful hyena pups to the majesty of lions after a kill. Would recommend Nature's Wonderland Safaris without hesitation.

Guarantee for a great holiday
Via a Dutch travel agency, we (a Belgian family of 5) have been brought in contact with Caracal Tours & Safaris. Based on some trip examples, I made my own proposal of an exploration of North Tanzania with more safari and less beach. Marion of Caracal Tours & Safaris then returned with a great trip schedule taking my wishes into account and by adding some very promising extras (a.o. seeing the great wildebeest migration and the possibility to climb the Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano). Also the reservations of lodges must not have been easy because we were quite late (end of May for the trip in July) to plan this travel. It was so good to be in contact with such an experienced person.
Ben, co-owner of Caracal Tours & Safaris, was our driver and guide. A really kind man with great knowledge of the wildlife. Travelling with him gave us a holiday without any worries. Beside the common visited national parks, he was also familiar with the less known areas. Thanks to his experience and good eye for spotting animals, we have seen more kinds of animals than we ever expected to be able to see! I especially also appreciated his respect for the animals and nature in general.
So, I certainly recommend Caracal Tours & Safaris for its good experience, flexibility, and kind people.

Ambitious but needs some fine tuning.
Just returned from two and a half weeks in South Africa. One week around Capetown and the east and west coasts. Second week was spent north of Johannesburg on safari.
South Africa is a beautiful place and having our time organized by Go Touch Down was a huge relief. It’s a busy place and a logistical nightmare if done on your own. The tour guide around Capetown, JP was knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel safe.
The safari week did not disappoint. So many opportunities to see wildlife in a natural habitat. Truly amazing. However, two game drives a day got to be a bit much, in the end. The safari week did have more free time between game drives, thank goodness. It’s nice to recharge when on vacation.
If I had a criticism it would be that the days were too jam packed and busy. Very little time to relax and unwind. A few things could have been omitted and it wouldn’t have affected the experience.
Also, I think it would be important to mention some level of physical fitness is essential. A lot of older or physically limited folks struggled getting into the jeeps for safari or couldn’t walk down to see some places.
Additionally, nothing was mentioned about “load shedding”. South Africa’s idea to save electricity. Entire grids of electricity are shut off for hours at least twice a day. It was an inconvenience and a nuisance. There has to be a better way.

Jackson and Brian served us so well during our trip there. Our trip was not a traditional safari but they were flexible and made it a success. It is so good to have drivers and guides you can count on. When it came time for the safari, it was excellent and they knew what they were talking about. Do yourself a favor and hire these guys. You will not be disappointed! I plan to contact them first for future trips.

We had a wonderful time. Our driver Sudi and our German-speaking guide Mohamed were great. We saw a lot of animals. The "Big Five" and many others. It was impressive! The lodges were also excellent, the staff was always friendly and the food was delicious.

Unforgettable experience
In September 2022 we were on safari in Tanzania for 5 days. We chose the low budget version with tents. (Lake Manyara, Tarangire, 2 days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater). We booked, based on a recommendation from friends, directly through the provider "BestDaySafaris". All the time we were in contact with Peter. He answered all our questions about safaris and put together different packages until our wishes were fulfilled. Before the safari we chose the free night at the hotel where we were picked up by our guide Joseph on the first safari day. Since we were only two on the first day, Joseph stopped for us in town so we could get a sim card. After that, an incredibly great time began for us. Joseph was the best guide we could have asked for. We affectionately called him "Eagle Eye" because he really spotted EVERY animal. The hiding place could still be so good. He enriched us daily with an incredible amount of knowledge about the animals, Tanzania and the Maasai. In addition, there was our chef Emmanuel, who provided us with authentic African cuisine every day. We would not have been surprised if we had come back after the trip with a few kilos more. The food was really excellent! Time flew by and on the last day we left our group with heavy hearts. On the day of departure a driver was organized to take us back to Arusha. There we could pick up our remaining luggage at the office. The driver also brought us to our next accommodation. The next day we flew from Arusha to Zanzibar. Without us even asking, BestDaySafaris organized a driver for us here as well. We are completely enthusiastic and can highly recommend BestDaySafaris. If you decide for a safari in Tanzania, then decide for BestDaySafaris and ask for Joseph & Emanuel <3. We can only thank the whole team several times for this terrific time!!!
