We booked with them for a trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and we had a trip of a lifetime.
Activities were well arranged and we greatly every activity. The game drives and boat ride were outstanding; I saw animals that I had never seen.
We really like the hotel booked for us, Engiri safari lodge was great hotel with great customer care, and the meals were delicious. The lodge is in the middle of the park, and you get to see animals anytime passing by, elephants were grazing besides our lodge and one of the nights buffaloes grazed from the same place. I enjoyed seeing them grazing at a very close distance.
Thank you for an outstanding vacation to Queen Elizabeth National Park that you gave us.

Fantastic, knowledgeable and jovial!
I submitted inquiries to several tour guides and Jocky Tours responded in a few hours. I was looking for a tour guide for a family of 6 (2 grand-parents, 2 parents, 2 kids), and Jocky tours offered the best deal for 2 nights. Communication with Minneh was professional and everything was explained clearly. One thing I liked is their flexibility- we encountered issues getting to Nairobi and had to move our tour in a day's notice. Adjustments were made quickly! We stayed at Lenchada camp. Our tents had very comfortable beds, they were clean, the toilets flushed and there was hot water for showering. All of our meals were tasty and every member of my family ate heartily! Helen made sure we were always comfortable!
Our tour guide was Khalifa, and he was phenomenal! He picked us up at our hotel in Nairobi, and from the time I began communicating with him, he made sure my family and I felt relaxed. He also had the carseat I wanted for my toddler. Right from Nairobi, he began sharing information and his knowledge on major attractions in Nairobi! The drive to Maasai Mara was over 5 hours, and he kept my family and I were entertained with his knowledge of Kenya. We had great conversations throughout! Khalifa knew the park very well and he made sure we saw almost all types of wildlife at Maasai Mara including the elusive leopard! He had so much knowledge about the animals, the park, the Maasai people, and Kenyan culture and politics. He shared all this during our 3 days together, and my family felt like we gained a new family member by the time he dropped us off in Nairobi! One other thing we really liked about Khalifa was that he was such a careful yet efficient driver! Khalifa helped create the kind of experience we were hoping for during our safari tour- we had an enriching yet relaxed time!

Perfectly planned
Recently returned from a 9 day trip to South Africa (April 2022) that covered game watching in Kruger, Wine tasting in Franschhoek and Stellenbosch and fabulous Cape Town and Cape Point. As a solo traveler with limited time, it was important to find a travel agent-who would work with me. Safety is always a part of my planning. Tanja (African Savanna Travel) covered all the bases and more. She put together an itinerary that included all my requests -at very short notice. Although I only overnighted in Joburg before catching my flight to Kruger, Tanja had arranged a local guide, Gavin, to meet me on my arrival and take me to my hotel. She also arranged all the internal transfers. She checked daily with my guides throughout the tour.
I wanted to include a couple of hikes/walks as well as a museum visit in Cape Town-She found the Ideal guide in Machiel-He is an avid hiker as well a lifelong resident of Cape Town. He was also my guide in the wine country tour. With his knowledge of the history of Cape Town, local food joints, the wineries, art and the Cape’s lovely flora and fauna and the best views, (and the best parking spots), he made my visit to Cape Town memorable

Great trip, very professional and friendly
We went for. 3-days trip in Maasai with Isaac, excellent and careful driver. We always felt very safe. Isaac is friendly, funny, knows very well the best spots and animals’ behavior. The Lenchada camp was friendly, food was healthy, the tented rooms were charming. We saw list of animals. The so called rainy season is less busy with tourists and the landscapes after rain are awesome. We hilghly recommend this reasonably priced package

Dream Africa Holiday
Wow, Southern African Tours custom tailored a 12 day trip for us that included all of my ‘ must see’ including Kruger National Park, Cape Town, Boulders Beach and Victoria Falls. Our trip was perfect and very reasonably priced. I can’t recommend these folks highly enough. Great company, very responsive!

Experience of a lifetime
What a fantastic trip.
Beforehand, we were expertly helped in organising our stay at Chobe Safari Lodge, and activities, by Takudzwa.
Thanks to flight delays we missed our connection to Kasane but he organised our collection the following day. Staff at check in were lovely, and immediately the Activity Centre staff were able to juggle our trips so we could fit our 4 days into 3. so much so, that within an hour of arriving we were looking at a croc on the river.
All of the guides on the safaris, and Vic Falls trip, were expert, and took note of what we were interested in (Kawana has eyes like a hawk!). They all made special effort to make sure we saw all we could.
Both the river cruises and the game drive were excellent with so much wildlife (yes, the big cats showed), and birds. (FIVE types of kingfisher!). As someone said to us on the flight "Chobe always delivers"
The lodge itself is beautiful with lovely staff. We even managed to see the resident wildlife and spend a little time in the pool.
Not the cheapest of holidays, but the value for money is superb. Genuinely, an experience that will stay with my family forever.

Wonderful
I did the 3 day Bwindi nationalpark safari and it was one of the best experiences ever. The ride was super comfortable, the safari land cruiser has many practical gadgets like being able to lay the seat fully down and have a good nap on this long drive. It also has wifi and a fridge which always holds a couple of drinks of your choice. The air conditioner worked perfectly fine as well, although I preferred to just leave the windows down and enjoy the wind in the car. The driving skills of the guide were very good as well, so that I could fully relax and just enjoy the ride. Talking about the guide, he also was extremely nice and never hesitated to try making all special requests coming from me possible. Also he was a super good partner for conversations but never invaded my personal space :)
The Trekking itself was magical and although I thought it was very expensive at first, I’m convinced it was worth every single penny now. I can definitely recommend it to everyone thinking about it. It’s a one in a lifetime experience you will never forget!

Unforgettable honeymoon experience in Tanzania with Jiwe adventures
We spent our honeymoon in Tanzania during and made an 8-day Safari with Jiwe adventures. It was an outstanding and very unique experience which we will never forget! Our trip went from Arusha to Tarangire National Park (2 nights), to Lake Manyara (1 night), to Central Serengeti (2 nights), to South Serengeti/Lake Ndutu (1 night), to Ngorongoro (1 night) and back to Arusha. If you want to make a shorter trip, we recommend to skip Lake Manyara, all other places should not be missed!
Each stop was very different from the other with new highlights every day. We had wonderful lodges and especially recommend Lemala (Tarangire), Ndutu (South Serengeti) and Kubu Kubu (Serengeti). All of them had great views into the endless African wilderness with Zebra & Co. visiting us at the balcony, luxury accommodation, fantastic food as well as very friendly staff. Our driver Chris was super! He drove us to breathtaking places, made us see the big five (finally the rhinos on our last day in Ngorongoro crater), served delicious lunch every day and did not get tired of answering our countless questions from African animal behavior to Tanzanian economy and Massai traditions :) Thanks again Chris, we hope to see you again one day!

Fantastic, professional, creative, super dope Team
I had a pleasure to attend an awesome adventure last season. Jacob and Reyna suggested very attractive package with super hotels in Tanzania and Zanzibar (and I am very demanding client ;) We visited few national parks (in Serengeti we slept in a luxury tented camp which I really recommend!), beach on Zanzibar, wild animals, proximity of nature, you cannot describe the beauty and breathtaking views as well amazing mood that was created by Jacob and Reyna. These guys are definitely worth travel with! Honest care and protection, professionalism, great fun and smile on their faces throughout the whole time made all the memories unforgettable. We'll definitely back to see the rest of parks as well as Kilimanjaro climbing!
