Mandela was absolutely perfect! You could not get anybody better
5/5

A must! Everything from the food to the accommodations was perfect! The logistics and the timing was immaculate. Mandela made the entire trip. He was so knowledgeable and kind and let us see every animal for as long as we wanted. I will recommend Suricata Safari to every person I know who is interested in taking a safari.

David G. was very kind and careful with us.
5/5

We were two people for 3 days. We loved the experience, we saw many animals, the driver, David, was attentive to us at all times and made an effort to ensure that we saw as much as possible. If we did it again, we would definitely repeat it with the company.

Amazing
5/5

We did a 6 day safari , Masai Mara, Nakuru , Naivasha and Amboseli I must attest it was the most magical experience. Ken, our tour guide & driver has a strong experience in the field. He knows perfectly the area and very brave.
He knows where to go and how to find the animals. The communication from the office was impressive they responded immediately
I would highly recommend this to my friends
I will definitely book with you on my next vacation

Highly recommend to everyone
5/5

Amazing experience with Lewis AZD, Musa (chef), daniel and the company, we saw so many animals, and Lewis knew all the right places to bring us, making sure that we enjoyed ourselves! We would highly recommend this company, they will deliver and give more to ensure that your trip is one that youll definetely remember! Do spot the rhinos on our behalf those guys were way elusive this trip, but we’ll definetely be back with this trip! Musa even cooked us special tanzanian food and made sure we were warm when ngorongoro was <11degrees! Even camping with this company is a luxury with beds so highly worth!

Amazing safari experience
5/5

The safari was amazing and beyond our expectations. The crew for our safari were all very experienced. We had our guide Lewis AZD , Chef Musa and Briefer Daniel :) Lewis was extremely skilled and could spot all the animals we wanted to see for us and help us get the best pictures. Chef Musa was very thoughtful and even personalised some of our meals to our palettes and gave us popcorn while we were watching the giraffes! Everything was very well planned and we didn’t have to worry about time accommodation or food We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend Suricata Safaris to everyone !

A friendly and caring team who provide real quality from the very beginning until the end.
5/5

We started to organise our Safari tour 6 month before our journey. I got several offers, but Deeper Serengeti Safaris was the only one, who provided us the best possible Safari tour for the very best price. We travelled 6 of us. We were on a 5 days 4 nights Safari visiting Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. They offered us different accomodations to choose from. They were super kind to us! We made together the itinerary that we accomplished. They also helped us to book the planes from Zanzibar to Arusha and back to Zanzibar. The whole Deeper Serengeti Safaris Team welcomed us at the airport and guided us together to the first hotel. We had a meeting together where everything was set and we got every information we needed. They were superkind from the very beginning until the end. Our driver was Ofman, a very talented guide. He shared us a lot of new information about every species. He took care of us. The 4x4 safari car was very comfortable. We had 5 different accomodation. 2 of the 5 was in the middle of Serengeti, luxurty tented camps. We enjoyed this a lot. We completed the Africa Big 5, the Small 5, and also the Ugly 5. We saw the migration of the wildebeasts, elephant families playing together, group of lions having their naptime under the trees. We visited the hippo pool. We saw a real life hunt, when a cheetah and her babies cought a smaller animal. We saw thousands of animals living in their own habitat. At the first hotel in Arusha, the dinner was also in the price, but in the first itiner, it was not. In Serengeti we had lunch and dinner together with Ofman, we shared a lot of memories and became friends. All of us got definitely much more from the Safari trip, than we expected before. This was a real lifetime experience. If I could give 6 star, I would! I recommend this lovely and caring team to every adventure-seeker.

Perfect!
5/5

Despite booking the three day Safari on short notice we had a great Safari from start to finish. Joseph arranged the planning of the Safari perfectly and the driver James showed us all the highlights of tsavo-west and amboseli.
Every effort was made to make this our best Safari and we certainly succeeded.

Morningstar is definitely recommended!

Highly recommended, great prices, even better experiences!!!
5/5

Found this operator through the internet. I trusted them with my deposit and for my entire safari trip, and they surely did not disappoint. Purity assisted me all throughout, she answered any questions I may have maximum 1 working day from when I sent it. They are very responsive and helpful. My flight got delayed, so I consequently was chasing after time in order to make it to my safari, but they were very understanding and made sure I got to my safari vehicle! I found their rates to be one of the best in Kenya, so I went for them. My safari all in all went perfectly fine: experienced drivers, good food, nice accommodations, great coordination! I highly recommend Bienvenido :D

Extremely unorganized and I felt they didn’t provide me with the services I purchased
1/5

I booked a 10 day Kenya and Tanzania safari. I am well travelled and this is far from my first tour. Overall I found the company extremely disorganized, my first driver uninterested and rude to other guests, and that I didn’t receive the services agreed on without actively being extremely vocal to get them and some I still didn’t get at all.

There are three main reasons I leave a one star review for this company.

1) I had a morning Safari booked for Masai Mara, the night before I hear the itinerary is changed and we are no longer going there. They told me this is because the government changed the rules from 24 hour passes to 12 hour passes, I would have hopped that they could have either purchased passes on the next morning as that is what I had purchased or made it up in some other way. They seemed completely uninterested in doing either. I was in a group with many others on many different tours, none of theirs had this option, I felt like because mine was the only one with this option they decided to not do anything about this.

2) After a short morning safari at Nakuru we headed to Amboseli, however on the way we had to stop at a gas station and wait for over two hours to get an additional two members in our vehicle, this meant we got in very late that night. We later found out the 2 members we were waiting for had just started there drive late that day due to the driver. I would have hoped the company would have either let us stay in Nakuru longer or would have sent the two others in a separate car.

3) When we went for our game drive in Amboseli our driver didn’t have the correct payment options causing us to be delayed. He then asked if one of us could pay and he would pay back, he said it was $4 but turned out it was far more. The fact that this delayed us and the fact that he tried to get us to pay more than he said was very concerning. If my AMEX when through (they didn’t take AMEX) I would have been charged a lot more than I was told.

4) When I crossed the border to Tanzania I was left alone and told a bus would be there at 10:30 to pick me up, already an hour wait after I got through the border. The bus however didn’t come until around 12:30 and didn’t leave until 1:30. It is lucky I had data to communicate with them otherwise I would have been in trouble. The fact that they would never proactively communicate with me or give me accurate times was extremely frustrating.

5) Communication: this was an issue throughout the trip, you would often not know ahead of time what was happening or when to wake up, several nights I would message them throughout the day asking the plan for the next day and they would say “someone will come tell you” but no one ever would even after asking multiple times, then I would have to wake up in the middle of the night and message some more before finding out what time I had to wake up.

6) One day our whole party arrived at the hotel and the front desk told us there were no reservations for us. I never got an answer from the company as to what happened but clearly it didn’t get booked. We then had to spend a bunch of time trying to figure out where we would all stay for the night as there were not enough rooms. Through pure generosity of the other people I was on tour with they decided to all cram into one room so I could have a room as the hotel only had two left. If not we would have been in a very bad situation late at night with a company that had proven they would make you wait a long time and would not communicate well.

That all being said Juma, my driver for the Tanzania portion was phenomenal. I just can’t justify giving anything but one star based on the other factors.

Overall this was an extremely frustrating experience and I would recommend staying away from this company. Hopefully I can save someone the pain.
